The pizzas are pricey compared to the major chains, but do note that they do give you plenty of toppings on your pizzas and it's not a sprinkle only. The roasted mushrooms one had plenty of mushrooms and it was delicious. The sausage and fennel one had plenty of fennel but not much sausage though. On the spectrum of hipster pizzas...Triple Beam is sadly toward the bottom. This entire set was about $50 and fed 2.5 people. The third was still hungry after lol. The mushroom is the best. Loaded with toppings and a nice fungi taste. The pineapple with prosciutto was surprisingly blander. The pineapple was barely noticeable and not sure prosciutto is the best meat option here. A simple ham would've shown brighter and add a saltier punch. Just overall it was meh and for the price quite outrageous. These were small slices and very thin (though I love thin pizza). This should've been $25 tops. It's a pickup stand with a few tables, not like they're doing fine dining either. Will not be back. I've been a big fan of Triple Beam for years, recommending it to family and friends, and raving about their pizza. Yesterday I ordered the Roasted Fennel & Sausage Pizza and a classic Pepperoni. I'm super disappointed to say that the quality of this food has significantly reduced. The pizzas were thin, lacked ingredients (definitely didn't look like the photos advertised online), were undercooked, and they've even made some recent changes to the menu that are a huge bummer. The Roasted Fennel & Sausage pizza used to come with goat cheese, and fennel fronds. It had a nice thickness and crunch on the outside, and you could taste the flecks of maldon sea salt. I'm sad to say this pizza is now just kind of a basic sausage pizza, without sauce, and with some fennel on top. Additionally, they got rid of their garlic knots on the menu which were a huge favorite of ours. I never write reviews, but I'm just so disappointed this place has changed so much. It's so good and convincing, I personally cannot find any compromises or tradeoffs that is typical from reheating a pizza. I daresay it could be better than a dine-in/dine-at experience. No need to fret about travel time/etc or why the delivery driver is driving in a circle. Whether pizza is warm or cold no longer matters. No need to pay the $4-5 for priority delivery any more. The pizza will arrive when it arrives. Save the money over 10 orders or so and the Pizza Steel pays for itself. Reshuffling the ratings a bit from previous review: Brussel Sprouts/Bacon - 10 (god tier when fresh from oven) Pepperoni - 8 Roasted Fennel and Sausage - 8 (this tasted better lukewarm ironically) Minor Note: not sure about costs, but a quality of life improvement is to include thick corrugated pizza pad like Pizzana provides. Pizza is literally my favorite food (next to spaghetti), and I am no pizza snob. Its extremely rare for me to find a pizza that I just don't like, but this pizza... Not for me. Tried their pepperoni pizza and the best way I could describe it would be like eating some bread, like a focaccia bread stick, with a little bit of cheese sprinkled on top and a few little pieces of pepperoni. They ordered through doordash and because we're far the food came sadly cold but the pizza was pretty good. I asked for the potato with truffle cheese and it was pretty good but it was extremely oily. It was over oily in my opinion, but the pepperoni was really good. It was tasty and it was super yummy. I highly recommend eating the pepperoni pizza! Triple beam is alright with me! I was doing take out. Parking on Fig is annoying on a Saturday evening. Once I found the counter, I asked for the best sellers. There's a few stools nearby if you choose to eat there but it's not a traditional restaurant. It's like a courtyard between them, another restaurant and a wine bar. The prosciutto jalapeño pineapple was pretty good. The Pineapple slices are a bit thick, making the bites a little difficult. Brussels sprout and bacon was really good. Brussels sprouts do not Over power the bacon. Very balanced in flavor. We tried another flavor (forgot the name) that was very cheesy and had lots of veggies on it. I really enjoyed that one! The ingredients were fresh. I liked the crust. It was like a thin focaccia flat bread. It reheats best in a pan on the stove with a little bit of water (to create steam) The price is steep for pizza. $40 for a whole pie. The Highland Park location shares a semi-enclosed warehouse-turned-food court with just a handful of co-tenants. Peek into the sweeping windows filled with industrial cookware and stacks of custom pizza boxes as you make your way to the ordering window down the hall. After picking your favorites from the chalkboard-style menu, grab a metal barstool at the narrow, L-shaped counter among the takeout crowd. Twinkle lights hang from the exposed beams, and contemporary pop rings out from the kitchen. Unsure how much to order during our first visit, my partner and I opted for 3 "quarters" and a focaccia, expecting leftovers. Like most Roman-style pizza, the crust is light and airy, more akin to a flatbread than most heavy-duty American crusts. The cuts are decorated sparingly with sauces and toppings, culminating in a distinctive crust-to-topping ratio. Our favorite pizza variety (and the most complete option of the bunch) was the Roasted Fennel and Sausage with Goat Cheese. The pizzas I ordered are all 1/4 since I wanted to sample the unique flavors they offered. Roasted Fennel & Sausage: 3/5 Tastes like typical sausage pizza, the fennel bulbs adds a crunch to it. I paid an extra 25 cents to add marinara. I thought it would be a marinara layer under the cheese but the marinara was dolloped on top. I was also disappointed that there weren't any of the fennel fronds (green leafy top parts) garnished on top of the pizza like how it was advertised on the doordash photo. Roasted Mushroom & Shallot: 3.5/5 Surprisingly this was my favorite out of the three! The flavor reminds me of eating garlic bread. The shallots added a nice onion/garlic flavor. My 1/4 slice also seems like there is way less thyme/herbs on top compared to the other photos here as well. Acorn squash: 3/5 This is my first time eating acorn squash and the taste was very subtle. The squash was thinly sliced. You can taste the hint of honey glaze on the focaccia and the crushed red peppers added a mild spicy kick to the experience. Hibiscus Lemonade: Not sure if they make this drink themselves but it was pretty good. It was sweet, tart and tangy. Overall, I thought the pizzas were just ok. I did wish there were more cheese. The thickness of the focaccia was inconsistent. It was extremely thin and crispy on my roasted fennel and sausage pizza. I really enjoyed this pizza and especially since it can be hard to find good, thin crust pizza in LA. It is Roman style pizza (rectangular, thin crust, cut into smaller rectangular slices) with a variety of toppings to choose from. You can either get a large slice, a half-pizza, or a whole pizza and I'd say getting half a pizza per person is a good place to start. Unfortunately a whole pizza here is going to cost you between $30 - $40 so if you are looking for dollar pizza this is not your place. However, it did taste good and satisfy my pizza craving. I tried the half mushroom & shallot and the half pepperoni pizza. The mushroom & shallot is topped with mozzarella, fontina, black truffle cheese, and loads of roasted mushrooms. It's very flavorful with that umami kick. Pro tip when you order delivery pizza - throw it in the air fryer for like a minute or 2 at 400F and it will crisp up the pizza and get that cheese even meltier for maximum enjoyment. I added some garlic powder and a little Parmesan and this pizza was fire!! The pepperoni had a classic pepperoni flavor and the pepperoni itself was tasty and crisp. I finished the pie satisfied, but still wondering if worth $40. I guess to get good pizza and not something doughy and lacking in flavor from some other place, it might be worth it! read more

Came here for pizza with some friends. There was street parking nearby. It's located in a little alleyway with other food options. The menu was a bit confusing. You could order a square or a quarter and we wanted to try two different flavors. We originally got charged for 2 halves which was too much so were able to switch it to two quarters which was 6 slices. Triple Beam was founded by award winning Chefs Nancy Silverton (an expert at breadmaking) & Matt Molina. Matt is also co-owner of adjacent restaurant HIPPO and used to be the executive Chef at Silverton's Pizzeria Mozza & Osteria Mozza. It's safe to say that they know a thing or two when it comes to dough. Nancy & Matt opened Triple Beam with the intent of bringing Roman style pizza to So Cal. Initially, the pizza was sold by the ounce and you paid by how much your pizza weighed. Now slices range from $6.50 to $9. Half & Full sizes are also available. The signature crispy crust serves as the base for a variety of creative topping combinations. (Roasted Mushroom and Shallot is one of my favs.) Gluten free, Vegetarian, & Vegan options are available. The pillowy focaccia is the best in town, especially charred onion & rosemary. If you attend the Wednesday wine tastings at Highland Park Wine, you get a free slice of this delicious focaccia with your tasting.
