So, I've rafted the entirety of the Trinity River on a personnel level and have taken two guided trips. First in 23' with Bigfoot (it was good) and the second with Trinity Rafting. This trip, bar none, was outstanding. Now, maybe it was the guide affect? Our guide Ben gave us far more then we anticipated. I had my 20 yo daughter with me and she had a blast. Ben created a fun and relaxed atmosphere void of any tight-ass guide power trips. A full day doesn't mean a full day of class III. The class III rapids are a blast but the stops at the N. Fork, the unreal waterfall hike, jump rock and plenty of swimming opportunities are an added bonus! Enjoy! read more

We had an amazing time! My daughter and I went on a class 3 rafting trip. We went with Trinity River Rafting and it was a great experience. It was my daughter's 11th birthday, and I couldn't imagine having more fun doing something else. Our guide Glenn was awesome! He was fun and personable. He knew the river, kept us safe, and taught us what we needed to know. He brought lunch for us. He took us on a hike to a waterfall. He gave us opportunities to swim, jump off rocks and even taught my daughter how to steer the boat. We also got to witness a masterful backflip off the boat into the water by Glenn. Family of 5: Mom, Dad and 3 daughters 7, 11 & 15 went whitewater rafting. I chose Trinity River Rafting due to their good reviews and they did not disappoint. The Pigeon Point half day was a good introduction for our family who have never done this before. There is ample parking. Check in only took a second. We hopped into the shuttle van and drove 8 miles or so upstream. Rohan was our guide and he gave us the orientation and off we went. The river was a mix of calm and wild. Our youngest enjoyed "riding the bull" up front. We also did the high jumps off the rocks. Chips and salsa were refreshing mid-trip. All in all this was a great 1st experience with white water rafting and we all enjoyed it tremendously. We will certainly be using them again next time we are in the area. read more

I would 100% recommend Bigfoot Rafting. We have Trinity Rafting a try this past weekend was very disappointed. Our guide lacked communication skills. Our whole trip was ruined because of an inconvenience and made things extra tense. The Staff disregarded when we told them we had a terrible time and could've been a lot more concerned. We had the best day on the river with Trinity River Rafting! My husband and I took our four kids for their first time. We did the full day option. Our guide, Tom, was AMAZING. Our family did an all day river rafting adventure with Trinity River Rafting on July 5, 2022. Our input site was at the Baghdad Camping area. The staff was friendly and our river guide, Glenn Hoxie, was excellent. My wife and I included our 2 grandkids, ages 9 and 6 years old, and their parents. Everyone had an enjoyable time. The rapids were exciting and were not over a 3 out of 6 rating. The 6 year old enjoyed himself, though it was a little intimidating going through the rapids and getting splashed. But that's the fun of it. Our guide was very attentive and explained the history of the river, wildlife and geology. Lunch consisted of sliced turkey sandwiches that you could dress up with vegetables and toppings. Canned drinks and cookies were also provided. The adults were good paddlers, so it made our guide's job easier. That means we did not flip the boat and no one popped out. The weather was unseasonably cool for mid-July, so we passed on swimming opportunities. If it was hotter, we all would have gotten into the water. The entire rafting experience was about 6 hours. It would have been a bit longer if we had gone swimming. We saw many river turtles, birds and insects. So the boys enjoyed seeing the wildlife and also looking for colorful rocks on the shoreline during lunch. Highly recommend this rafting company and our guide, Glenn Hoxie. read more

From our first interaction with Dana on the phone to our in-person experience with her and guide Amelia, everything was perfect. We felt in good hands and Amelia's instructions were really clear. (Our group of five is athletic so I am not sure other groups could be as awesome as we were, but we had our share of thrills -- "high side!" -- going over five class three rapids.) This is a very impressive company. My niece organized for 25 of us at our family camping trip to go rafting. We are an active and busy group! They catered to all our age levels-from 6-65years old. They were entertaining the entire trip. Also provided historical facts here and there. There was never a dull moment. The lunch was incredible. This was our first time water rafting. We booked the morning class II rafting tour. We got in the raft at ~10am and got back to our car at 3pm ( including 15 min van ride to drive us back). My 9year old daughter had a blast! Class II was relaxing but with some good rapids to feel adventurous. Our guide Christian was wonderful with excellent skills to maneuver the raft and so much knowledge of local history. Weather was cold (60s) with some drizzling rain. But with wet suit, we felt fine. This crew is top notch! Our family of 6 adults took the half-day Pigeon Point run. From check-in to close of day we experienced nothing but professional, friendly, and welcoming service. Check-in was friendly and efficient. We were geared up and off to the drop-off spot where we received riverside safety instruction that included not only water safety, but also plants and animals to keep an eye out for on shore. Our guide Riley was fantastic! He got us paddling together as a team in no time. He was clearly knowledgeable about the river and struck the perfect balance of maintaining safety and keeping things fun and relaxed. He pointed out animals he spotted along the way as well as interesting geography and history of the area. About mid-way through our trip we stopped for a break and snack. The chips and shop-made salsa were awesome. We ate every bit and they even shared the salsa recipe when we got back to shore. If you are in the Trinity area look up this outfit for your rafting fun. If you are planning a trip, use their online scheduling system. It is a breeze!
