Always a great time here whether coming to relax or grab a drink or get slightly rambunctious. They host random events here as well as have multiple restaurant and bars surrounding the area. They have numerous outdoor TVs available that channels can be changed upon request.

Enchanting Trinity Groves is, especially at night. Twinkling lights and during this holiday season, decorated trees and a red sleight are on display. Weaving through the aromatic corridors, there's plenty of eclectic eateries to choose from to graze at, including a seafood, bbq, moroccan, mexican, asian, italian, steaks, and, burger restaurants. There's also a chocolatier and cake shop there. Expanded they have to include shops across the street from this beautifully renovated warehouse. There, more eateries including a fab local brewing company and yummy modern korean snow cream. With weather permitting, lovely it is to see our city's skyline by walking across the close-by footbridge after having a bite and sips from the chosen few. CHEERS!

I came here for the beautiful view of the city with the bridge. There are so many restaurants here and it is very cute. I can't wait to check it out more in the future. I was able to park easily because there is a lot of parking. I also took a walk across the bridge path which would be a great area to bike or run into the city.

Kate Weiser Chocolates. Wow! They are works of art.

Trinity Groves is such a wonderful part of Dallas. There are so many locally owned businesses to enjoy and explore. The view of the Dallas skyline is amazing from here. It's a great place for lunch with friends and family. It's also a great place for date night or just hanging out. Trinity Groves has plenty of restaurants with a choice of cuisines. And if you have out of town guests bring them here to show off the city. I love it!

    Seriously love this spot.

You can't put a price tag on a beautiful view of the city. In the outskirts of downtown, Trinity Groves has a lot of quaint restaurants to dine at and bars to drink at to soak in the gorgeousness that is DALLAS! It's a must-see spot for those living in the city or suburbs, and especially for those who are touring the DFW. Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge (big white bridge with dramatic designs) is gorgeous at night, and awesome to drive through, so getting a cool shot of it is never a hard feat. The whole skyline (#1 prettiest skyline in the USA btw) of Dallas is prominent behind MHHB and at night, it's a seriously romantic spot to go on a nice, long walk :) I'd also go out of my way to come here to jog also, and it's also a very kid-friendly with their installations of jungle-jims and climbing structures. This area is still quite safe even at night. There's plenty of police watching over this area, including the parking lot. So that was an added plus.

From website. Not sure why the weird colors, it wasn't that way at the URL, but looks cool.

I recently learned of Trinity Groves. It was actually the "restaurant incubator" concept that brought Trinity Groves to my attention. In fact that was how it was described to me, as in "Oh, you have to check out the restaurant incubator near the south end of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge." Well I started searching for "restaurant incubator" (on yelp) and wasn't having much luck. It wasn't until I did some internet searches that I discovered the true name, which is Trinity Groves. But there's was no yelp listing. So here it is. Trinity Groves does indeed have the restaurant incubator, the full name of which is "Restaurant Concept Incubator program, which encourages chefs and restaurateurs to create and present unique restaurant concepts to a team of experienced restaurateurs who will then support them to bring their ideas to reality." But Trinity Groves also features retail, arts and entertainment, thus making it very difficult to categorize on yelp. But I felt I had to try, as it is a unique destination to sate numerous requirements. It is definitely worth checking out, perhaps after a stroll across the Continental Avenue Pedestrian Bridge (http://www.yelp.com/biz/continental-avenue-pedestrian-bridge-dallas-3). The best advice I could give is to check out the website, which lists all the goings on. PS. There are currently about 10 restaurants, with 6 more "coming soon". Four Corners Brewing Company is also located here, complete with Saturday tours and an "All Day Alehouse" (open 7 days). For hours, see http://www.fcbrewing.com/alldayalehouse.html . PPS. There is also a yelp listing for 3015 at Trinity Groves (http://www.yelp.com/biz/3015-at-trinity-groves-dallas), which is the venue space.

    Loving the view at night!

I currently have a love affair going on with this new development! Shops, restaurants...a lot of innovative things happening here. The view of the bridge at night from here is absolutely fantastic! I bet it will be beautiful during the holidays. Now we just need more grown and sexy spots and we are set! I can imagine spending lots of fun nights here exploring all of the restaurants. Bring your honey here or your friends and go explore!

    Beautiful view of the city

This place is the cutest little spot I've been to today. I got a warm fuzzy feeling when I pulled up, all the lights , sweet smells and perfect view of the city was breathtaking . I came for the chocolate but I left with so much more !

Went to casa rubia and the tapas was great. The dishes kept coming until we were full. Went and got cake after for dessert.

The architect's name should be familiar as he also designed the Milwaukee Art Museum, the World Trade Center Transportation Hub in Manhattan and the Auditorio de Tenerife among other absolutely stunning buildings. Margaret Hunt Hill (1915-2007) was a major philanthropist to a number of Dallas charities and was the daughter of oil tycoon H. L. Hunt. This is a cable-stayed bridge that opened in 2012 and connects downtown Dallas to West Dallas. The stunning 40-story center-support arch is a major feature of the Dallas skyline. It is 1206 feet long, connected with 58 white strands that connect along the center of the bridge. It almost likes like a musical instrument that might be played by a giant! There is no toll to cross the bridge. It is for vehicles only, with the adjacent Ronald Kirk Bridge converted to a pedestrian and cycling bridge. [Review 758 of 2024 - 517 in Texas - 21789 overall]

As with anything being developed here, it was controversial on all fronts. I have to admit I was skeptical at first. Primarily because I'm attached to the original bridges spanning the Trinity river that have been here in use for 100 years. The oldest of these bridges was (and still in use) the Houston Viaduct designed and engineered by a woman. This new bridge was named for Margaret Hunt Hill the socialite, businesswoman, and philanthropist. she was the daughter of Hunt one of the first to discover oil in Texas and instrumental in Dallas growth. Unfortunately, I didn't capture the best vantage point of this bridge but, it's become a good love addition to the Dallas landscape. Check it out when in Dallas

We were fortunate there was no cloud cover! You could see for miles from the Ball's point of view at 470 feet up. The Reunion Tower itself is a 561 ft observation tower in Dallas, and one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. The Tower looked like a lollipop and was only 20 mins walk from our hotel. At one point we found ourselves on the train tracks and could see the Tower but couldn't quite see how to get there as there was no signage or directions. Eventually, we had to walk around and go under a bridge to get to the other side and walked towards the Tower. Even the entrance had no signage. It did have the name of the restaurant Crown Block and also Hyatt Hotel but nothing about the Tower. Anyway, we walked in and went downstairs. Tickets were $19 and can be bought from the kiosks. As we walked to the line, you get to have your photo taken with a green screen. There are props you can use on the right counter if needed. In the elevator you can see outside as you are going up. I just wished the glass was facing the city instead of Trinity river and the two Margaret sister bridges. You can see all the freeways overlapping like spaghetti. At the top, there is a little area with a few tables and chairs. I guess you can bring a lunch or snack whilst enjoying the views. The restrooms are really clean up there. Outside, there are telescopes available and info about the skyline. However, it was awfully windy and cold in January. The staff were really friendly and helpful with any questions you have. We found out the photos taken earlier, could be viewed at the kiosks by scanning the barcode on your ticket. They email the photos to you for free or you can buy a physical copy from them. Overall, it was a nice visit. Have to say, there were hardly any people around. I guess it was off peak tourist season, so it was nice not having the crowds and long lines.
