Went in with a STUCK pedal on a recently acquired bike. The guys at Trinity jumped all over it immediately; had to remove the crank arm, remove the pedal from the spindle, heat and cool, and get creative to get the pedal out. I received a text message the same day to let me know it was ready to be picked up. I had mentioned that the bike had been shipped to me and wasn't packaged well. The guys checked it out for me without asking, straightened out a bent rear disc rotor, made a quick adjustment to the front derailleur, and looked up the paint code through trek for me so I could grab some touch up paint. It's not often I leave a 5 star review. This shop deserves a 10 though. We've taken our bikes many places however the group at trinity surpasses them all. 1. The way the treat you is phenomenal they have customer service down. Friendly, yet professional, knowledgeable; they are cyclists and get who you are. They seem to genuinely to care. 2. They have a decent supply of products. 3. Price they are very reasonable. They found things that should have been fixed by another shop and weren't and showed us the parts. They had a bike ready when they said and they txt to let us know it was ready. This will be our go to shop as long as we are here. read more

My daughter bought me a electric bike for Christmas. The bike was damaged in transit. It was bought straight from the factory. We called the company Lectric and told them the problem. Sent me the parts and told me to take to Trinity and have it repaired. Trinity charged me $30 to repair. I sent receipt to Lectric and they paid me $80, $50 for my time. I was looking for a bit of advice and a shock pump but they went as for as to help me get my bike all setup and give me advice on tuning it in the future. I took my bike in, which hadn't been serviced in 10 years. They did a "tune up" and put on a new chain and fixed my gear shifting. These guys deliver exceptional service. I've stopped in here a few more times for random things. Had a super irritating creak in my mountain bike while on the trail. Brought it in to see if I could schedule an appointment to figure out the source (since I know all bike shops are crazy busy right now). Surprisingly, Derek spent about 15 minutes testing it out right then and there, checking a bunch of different potential sources. He narrowed it down to something around the seat/seat post. But none of the obvious culprit bolts were a problem...So we scheduled an appointment for more follow up for a few weeks out. I took it home and - building on his detective work - found two pieces of sand that had wedged down the seat tube causing the creak/crack noise. When I called the shop to cancel the appointment, the guy on the phone congratulated me and said he was happy I was able to solve it. :-) Then last week I special-ordered a kryptonite 4' chain lock for a trip this week. They texted me when it arrived, and I showed up the next day. Their supplier sent them the 2.5' chain instead of the 4'. I'm leaving tomorrow. Problematic. We tested the 2.5' chain and it'll work just enough for what I need, so Luke told me to take the chain and lock while they get the supplier to send the right item. This means I have something for this trip. No charge. No hassles. The shop will take care of it, and when they get the right item, I'll just bring back the lock. This is just incredibly good service. I run my own business and want my own service team to be this good! read more

Solid shop, honest and quick work, excellent communication and patience. LUKE and MAX were super cool, knowledgeable and helpful. I needed a flat fix and they said bring her in worries. I somehow maneuvered my Electra cruiser (with flats on both ends) into the back seat of my Volkswagen Passat (which Luke was impressed with haha) and they each helped me manage getting it out and back in. I seriously appreciate that quality of service! They fixed her up fast and really inexpensively. With how damn busy they are with the whole pandemic, people buying out bicycles like crazy, they are so kind and made me feel like they truly cared, especially for such a tiny flat fix. I drove down and spent a solid hour in the shop with Max and he helped size me for the right bike and talked me through all my options. He was patient, kind and very cheerful! I've had bike maintenance done at least 4 times. I've found that parts and labor prices are very reasonable and the mechanics are very knowledgeable. It's best to set an appointment, but things that come up, like flat tires, are usually handled more quickly than expected. Definitely recommended. read more

I love this place! They provide great service and go above and beyond. An old fashioned neighborhood store that you can rarely find anymore. I have a road bike and a very old hybrid bike, both of which I take to them for repairs. I also have inline skates that keep causing me issues and they have been kind enough to help me with the skates even though that is not what a bike shop does. Most places would just tell me to go somewhere else but they work on fixing the problem. Great place, great people! read more

We stay at Pismo Coast Village & were told by guests & staff , "if you have bike problems, you can count on Trinity!" I purchased an upgraded bike slime/tube and within 2 days it got pinched and blew a 1/2" hole... flat tire. I took my tire & tube back and Luke (the awesome owner) fixed it with a new tube & made my tire ready to be put on my bike! We were camping at the Pismo Beach North campground and our Trek bike had a chain mishap. The folks at Trinity cycle saw us right away. Not only did they fix our chain, but they recognized that it was on a Trek fix it list. So for free they added a. component that would prevent further chain issues, and gave us lots of information on how to prevent chain issues in the future. Add to that that there is a fabulous Japanese restaurant right next-door where we had lunch, it was a perfect experience. read more

On vacation I awoke to two flat tires on my mountain bike! Disaster! But I took the bike in to Trinity and David had my tires repaired in minutes. I appreciated his attention to detail when he pointed out that the inner part oF the wheels had manufacturing burrs that could damage tires. He took extra care to file them down. He then knew exactly where I could order a rear rack and panniers when I asked about that. He installed those very inexpensively for me. All done with a great smile!
