This place is SO GOOD!! I was pleasantly surprised by not only the delicious food but by the friendly people running the place. They are now our go to spot for when we need to fulfill our Mexican food cravings... even the desserts are scrumptious... particularly the Sopapillas! Also the chips are SUPER FRESH and perfectly salted. We've ordered several different things and everything was perfect with everyone's meals. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous and did I mention how delicious everything is? Go treat yourself and tell your friends and family about this spot because I NEED them to be around for many years to come... LOL but very serious. I forgot to order the Horchata and I need to try the Tres Leches Cake but I already know it's going to be great. I'll be sure to post pictures next time. read more

Haven't been to this place in years and when I paid for my order they charged me a fee to use a debit card. Debit cards have always been considered exactly the same as cash. I looked it up when I got home and it is ILLEGAL to so this. I don't business with folks that commit fraud! Clean up your act Michelle! read more

Trinis Mexican Carryout - MENU - Mexican Near Me - New Baltimore, Michigan

Carry out on Thursday 3/20/2025 I called @ 8:07p to place a special carry out for my Father, step-mother and myself. I hyped this place uppppp to them!! And we were all super excited. I was a little more excited because for once, in a long time, I could buy dinner. Unfortunately, the hours are incorrect. And what's even more unfortunate, is the woman they answered the phone was unhelpful, rude, wanted to debate and argue over the hours that were showing on my phone. She even said "well, I can send you what I'm looking at and it says closed!" Lady. I'm willing to bet, you're not NEW to customer service, which means, you're just on a high horse. Well, as promised, HERE IS WHAT I WAS SEEING ON MY PHONE!! You lost customers. Fans. I was a FAN of Trini's!! Always spoke highly, recommended, supported etc. never again. read more

This is one of the best carry out Mexican restaurants you will ever find. The fajitas are INCREDIBLE.

Once again, a no-notice dinner party pops up and Trini's came in for the rescue. Our food was fresh and hot, ready as estimated. Checkout was smooth and friendly. The meal was delicious and all five of our guests we very pleased. See you again soon! read more

A couple months ago a customer bought my work Trini's Mexican Carry Out for all my work to enjoy. I wasn't at work this day but all my coworkers raved how great the food was. Last Thursday my mom and I decided to get a carry out. She got a micro nacho and a chimichanga while I got street tacos. The wait was 35 minutes but the staff was right on time and very friendly. We ordered ahead over the phone. The portions were pretty huge. My street taco meal had lots of flavor and the rice/beans was in a separate container. The rice has a bit of a garlic flavor and I imagine it isn't for everyone. My meal was $10 and I got two meals out of it. My mom had enough food for more than 3 meals with her chimichanga and micro nacho. The chimichanga was very large and a couple people could easily split it. We look forward to getting more carry outs soon! I heard they have great lunch specials. read more

Trinis Mexican Carryout - Street Taco carry out..yum! - Mexican Near Me - New Baltimore, Michigan

Got carry out dessert and puffy tacos, and let me say... everything was absolutely delicious, and very flavorful

I've been here a couple times and tried their tacos, burritos and quesadillas. The quesadilla was the one I enjoyed the most. This particular visit I got the pork burrito grande. It wasn't bad, but nothing stood out either. Everything was kind of mixed in and cheese was melted on top. I couldn't taste the pork at all with all the other sides that overpowered it. I'll definitely come back as it's only a couple miles from me, but I do hope they simplify some of the menu items. read more

Loved the food. First time here and it definitely will not be our last. Best Mexican in the area. We had a puffy taco dinner ( there was enough for another meal ). Also had the lunch enchilada special. It also came with rice and beans. All sooo good. They also gave us a container of chips and salsa. The salsa definitely tastes homemade ! Yum! This lunch special was a nice portion. Loved the rice because it had some veggies in it too. read more

Unbelievable disgusting display of stupidity and incompetence. Seriously hire all highschool kids to handle your business is beyond stupid. Food is thrown together like fast food. You should have seen the kids apron like he used it as his personal dish rag. Never ever again and I've given them 5 chances. I should have stopped at 3. I miss Panchos.... read more

As someone who lives in the ethnic food void of mid michigan, my visits to new Baltimore offer great anticipation for better culinary offerings. Unfortunately Trini's was just "OK." We got chicken fajitas, tostadas, and pork puffy tacos. All meals came with Mexican rice and refried beans. The fajitas were good and had plenty of meat. The puffy tacos were the high point, being tasty and well made. The tostadas (ground beef) weren't as good as Taco Bell, which to me is NOT Mexican food! I understand this is just a carry out place but it was average for its quality. I was really hoping for chili rellenos but they weren't on the menu. The rice was "ok" as were the beans. Service was good, friendly. Note they also charge extra to use your card for payment. I will be more grateful for the bridge area Mexican restaurants the next time I'm able to get there for sure! Just don't expect more than a decent meal and you won't be disappointed. read more

Food has been consistently good. Staff is friendly. Only wish they were more equipped for dine in.

I like to patronize local businesses. I have eaten at Trini's several times before and order the a la carte Chimichanga every time! Delicious! Also, I had them cater my daughter's graduation party and they came thru with flying colors! Love this restaurant! read more

Very happy with my dinner from this little take away place!! I have very high standards for my inexpensive Mexican food...lol...and this place is perfect! The menu is small...but actually there's a lot to pick from. I ordered the two tostada dinner and it was good. Honestly...it really wasn't a tostada...not much in the way of a salad. I'm not complaining...it was delicious. But if your goal is to get a salad...don't get this! But it was good! Dinners come with rice and beans in a separate container...loved that! Chips and salsa were fresh. Four of us got dinner and no one was hungry or disappointed. Portions are a good size and the prices are nice and low. Definitely would order from here again!!! read more

I love their street tacos! Really good local Mexican food and the price is very reasonable. We order take out from here all the time

Would love to provide a review of their food but could not even pick up or order a carry out. If you are Covid conscientious this is not a restaurant for you. Cooks had masks worn under their chins. Cleaning personnel had no masks on and witnessed customers coming and going with no mask on. Had to give 1 star to be able post a review. read more

Small, family owned restaurant in a small town. I was a little skeptical at first, but ive come to learn that it is a wonderful addition to the area as their food is always flavorful, delicious, and made how I like it- I am never disappointed. Tried this place for lunch & was really good! The employee who took my order was very friendly & helpful. And all the employees were wearing masks, which was appreciated. I had the Enchilada dinner (double rice because I don't do refried beans) & a Crispa. The enchiladas were really good. I got them w/ chicken & you get three decent sized enchiladas. They were loaded w/ cheese on top (YUM) & the chicken was nicely seasoned. The rice was good also, not dry tasting like mexican rice sometimes can be. I really liked the Crispa too, which I got w/ chicken. Super bummed they don't offer chorizo as a meat, but I'm good w/ what I ordered. Looking forward to trying here again soon. read more

Large portions, great taste and friendly staff. Haven't had a bad item on menu. Chip and salsa are a nice extra

listen the main dishes were good don't get me wrong but yall have got to get better sides the beans suck and they are bland and the rice is just missing flavor read more

Not good at all. Soggy tacos? Idk how that happens but we had to use a spoon to eat the tacos. Not authentic at all. The meat taste like Taco Bell meat. Bunch of kids working there while the place was dirty and smelled like a nasty bathroom. First and last time here. read more

Food has improved significantly since my last review in 2017 so I have upgraded the star count to reflect such. Overall, the usual Mexican staples are well-done here. The white melted cheese on the burritos and nachos is outstanding, rich in taste and quality. However the star of the show is the hard shelled tacos with beef. The corn shell is homemade, thick and crunchy. You get two tacos for $3.50 however on Tuesdays the same taco is 10 for $10.99, a great deal. I would have given them 5 stars but Trini's violated the sacred code of the Taco Gods. They shorted me two full-price tacos on my last order. I paid for 8, they gave me 6. Bummer! Sacriledge! Summon Montezuma! read more

I love everything about here! I love the food, I love the girls that work the front. Everything is always amazing. The girls who are the cashiers are amazing. They just know you and what you like. Excellent! Reasonably priced authentic Mexican. Fresh chips made daily. Friendly and fast carryout service.

We have never had food from here until tonight. After living in the area and driving past it (for what must be 10 years now) we have FINALLY decided enough was enough and cracked to try it. We are beyond glad that we did! This food is so delicious. We ordered quite a few things to try and we are stuffed but still want to keep eating. My street tacos were absolute perfection. Will be back. read more

So, we tried again. Lots of locals have been raving and I figured it was worth another try. Not so much. Salsa is spicy but not in a good way. It tastes like a hot spaghetti sauce. ?! Chips were bland, no salt this time. The tortilla soup is still awful. I want so badly to like it, but it's just like a bowl of salsa with big chunks of chicken. The flavor is still good, though. I got a combo this time and the hard taco was really good. I like their ground beef. My enchilada and burrito were also good. Still nothing to write home about and sadly, not good enough to make me come back a third time. Hubby's tamale was good this time and he also liked his burrito and enchilada... nothin special, though. Beans and rice are still bland and tasteless. I did like that they put them separate from your food. I know they are doing puffy tacos on Wednesday's so maybe I would try those?! Stil read more

Absolutely love Trini's! Everything here is very good and the prices are reasonable. I especially like the enchiladas and burritos.
