I have been coming to Dr.Trinh for almost a decade. My sisters started coming here first and then eventually we all came over (4 sisters and our dad!) Dr. Trinh and his assistant Anna are wonderful. They are so funny and professional, my teeth always feel so clean after leaving my appointments. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a new dentist! You won't regret it :) The building is located in downtown Oakland and there's plenty of street parking. read more

I've been going to Dr. Trinh for years now and I don't ever want to change. Dr. Trinh makes processes easy as well as really take his time to make sure that I, as a patient, understand what treatment I am getting and why I am getting it. He's also really personable and very patient. Always smiling. For example, the last few times I've went in, he really made an effort to explain to me what's happening to with my teeth and if it's something I can fix, reserve or slow down and how. You would think that a 30 year old should know how to properly floss, but it turns out, my technique for flossing can still use improvements. Another huge thing that meant a lot to me was getting my wisdom teeth extracted. I was super scared of getting my tooth extracted for a long time but he was able to persuade me to getting it pulled and he was right! it wasn't as big of a deal as I made it to be! I highly recommend if you are looking for a new dentist to check him out. He was recommended to me by a friend and I've never been happier in having a dependable dentist. read more

I just switched to Dr Trinh and would recommend him. He is extremely friendly and gentle, explaining everything he's doing before and as he's doing it. He checks in to see how you're doing and is patient and clear in his communication. He does a thorough job and is very professional. read more

A wonderful experience from start to finish! Anna is very patient and answered a lot of my concerns over the phone about insurance and out-of-pocket payment, and she is extremely efficient as well. Dr. Trinh deserves all the great reviews he gets: he's very professional and explains every step of the process in a very calming manner. I had to replace a deep filling and was a little nervous, but it went extremely well. Dr. Trinh also addressed some other concerns I had with some of my old, not-so-good dental work and gave me really objective advice. I really can't say enough good things, and I'm so glad I'm a patient here now. read more

I don't usually leave reviews, however, Dr. Trinh and his side kick (Anna) are an exception. He is flexible, highly skilled, and just great! I look forward to seeing them both as they are also very funny! I highly recommend! read more

Dr. Trinh is the best dentist I have ever had. He is very friendly, his prices are reasonable, and he is extremely honest and understanding. He advised me NOT to get a fairly expensive whitening procedure because I wasn't a good candidate. How many dentists turn down money? He always sees me on time and is always very friendly and pleasant. His office manager Anna is also very nice. I am almost afraid to post this because its always been easy to get appointments there and I'd hate to have to wait longer to see him when I need to. But Anna promised me they would always make room to see me, and he has treated me so well that I feel obliged to tell others, so here you go. This is the best dentist in Oakland I believe, and his prices are really reasonable., and he clearly really cares about his patients. read more

I met Dr. Trinh prior to my leaving to study abroad. He did a crown for my front tooth that I had always been shy about due to the dark color. I never smiled and only after the crown was placed in, did I flash my teeth on camera. He did a great job on it and throughout the entire procedure he asked me if i was doing okay. I've never had that sort of care at any health setting, let alone a dentist, who are known to be a bit scary. I've moved down to socal since then for grad school but have been coming back every chance I get to do my annual checkup. I sometimes skip half a year more just so I can get the best care a dentist can give, although he advised me to just see someone else down south. read more

Dr. Trinh is a great dentist. I've been going to him for dental care since I can remember. I recently moved to SF but I still make the commute back to see him even though I know there are a lot of other dentists in the city. Very caring and nice. Would recommend to everybody. read more

Hands down the best dentist I have ever been to. Extremely patient, he explains everything and does all the work himself with Anna, his assistant. His office very clean and runs very efficiently. I have been seeing him for over 5 years and look forward to my regular check ups and cleaning! read more

This is the third time I go see Dr. Trinh for a general cleaning. He is thankfully open during these times (Mon - Thu), and is taking all the precautions, wearing an N95 mask below a face shield. Dr. Trinh did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth. He first did an x-ray and informed me I have zero cavities (woohoo!), then cleaned my teeth with all kinds of gadgets, then polished them so well that he left my teeth looking pearly white. He also told me to floss everyday about a dozen times. Which is good because that means I'll floss every other day instead of now and then (hope he doesn't read this). He is super friendly, and so is his assistant who has been working there for over 20 years! read more

Brian and Ana are the best. So thorough, gentle and compassionate. And to top it off... They deliver by far the most entertainment I've ever had experienced getting dental care. Love love love them! read more

I have been coming here for couple months. I absolutely love Brian. He is a skilled and caring dentist. His prices are very affordable and I've heard that he has not changed his price for 10 years. If you are looking for the best dentist in Oakland, I highly recommend Brian. read more

Dr. Brian is amazing, I've been his patient since early 2017 and every visit was a pleasure, always pick up good insights to stick to.

Dr. Trinh is great. He and his assistant Anna do all the work here. He has been my dentist for many years and I am always happy to recommend friends to him too. He offered me affordable rates when I was an uninsured student and now he takes my insurance too. He is gentle, I even look forward to him cleaning my teeth every six months. They feel so good afterwards! read more

I haven't been to the dentist in a long while, so I was very nervous when my mother told me to go, and recommend Dr. Trinh. He was super nice and very cheerful! He explained everything that he was doing, and checked up on me when I went a while without responding! He made great conversation(when his hands werent in my mouth) and was gentle when cleaning my teeth and checking it. I highly recommend him! Great guy! read more

I've been going to Dr. Trinh since 2000. Since that time, I've moved out of the area and worked in other cities, but I always kept my dental care with Dr. Trinh because he's the best dentist I've come across. He's knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. I believe the other reviewers have already mentioned it, but he is genuinely concerned about his patients' well-being. In addition to giving good maintenance care, he gives also good advice about future care and procedures. While I'm not thrilled about going to the dentist, I feel more at ease knowing it's Dr. Trinh I'm seeing. His assistant Anna is also wonderful. Together, they make a great team! read more

I've been seeing Dr. Trinh for years now and have never had a bad experience. He and Anna are a great team and the two nicest people you could meet. Their wonderful working relationship helps ease any fears or anxiety I would normally have. I'm always relaxed even when I have something major to be done. He respects my request to know as little about the procedure as possibly, though he sneaks in any important information. I actually look forward to seeing my dentist-Crazy, right? read more

This is an awesome family dentistry, Brian is a nice nice dentist who constantly asks, "are you doing OK?" The service is excellent, the kind you get in a small town where the dentist knows everyone in the family and really cares. read more

Dr. Trinh has been our family dentist for the past 14 years. He's super sweet, gentle, caring, honest, and kind. I have referred many people there, and they all love him. If he can't fix it himself, he will refer you out. I highly recommend him. read more

I don't trust most dentist because of their charges. But Dr. Trinh is fair and affordable. He will work w/ you and he's super duper gentle. He's best by far!! Thank you Dr. Trinh and Anna for your exceptional hospitality. You Rock!! read more

Competent, attentive, informative, and light-hearted. I get better dental care here than I ever did from the hygienists at my old dentist's office. I'm glad I finally found Brian Trinh. read more

Just got my teeth cleaned here and I feel great! I got to my appt. right on time and was seen within minutes. The place did not seem overbooked which was great. Dr. Trinh spent almost an hour cleaning my teeth and took the time to answer all of my questions- did not feel rushed at all. My previous dentist seemed shady and tried to book me for so many cavity fillings. Dr. Trinh explained that if a cavity is so tiny, that it's better to try and keep your teeth cleaned very well and possibly reverse it.....unlike my last dentist who immediately wanted to fill my itty-bitty cavities with only expensive white fillings. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Trinh. The only downside to seeing a dentist in downtown Oakland is parking is hard to come by.... read more
