OTF takes my mind off of all that's going on in life. I step into the studio and my coaches take me on a little adventure for 60 mins. I enjoy how clean the studio is everytime. The app and heart monitor are great tools. All my coaches are awesome! I'm so grateful for the change in my body and mind. Thank You, Orange Family!

Any skill level can do this workout as it's based on your heart rate. I love seeing my stats improve in the app month after month and seeing my improvement. I have never been a runner/jogger and I can jog the entire prescribed times now, at much faster speeds than I ever imagined. I do wish there were more after-5pm classes available (5:30pm only M-Th) and more weekend classes available (only 8:15am and 9:30am on Sa/Su). But they only add as many classes as there are people signed up at the gym. So if you're considering it, please sign up! For my sake, jk jk. Edited to add: Wow, just read all the reviews from 2019. The bad reviews are definitely not accurate anymore. They were a starting business in 2019 and obviously had some bad staff to rule out. I've been going for 8 months now and staff has been very generous when I have emergencies come up and can't make a class. It is true about the heart rate monitors, they cost 150ish, but you aren't required to buy one at all.

The Kaia community is an embracing and inviting one with lots of fun nuances that keep it from ever getting boring or routine. The diversity of classes and their straight forward approach really works for my schedule! I would recommend Kaia for any womanlooking to get fit! it's worth the money and time!

Equipment consists of a dozen yoga mats, some strength bands, a half dozen kettle bells taped to look like purses, and chin-up bars. The gym does not have bathroom facilities such as showers, but it does have a water cooler. I can understand and even overlook the spartan conditions considering that it's such a fledgling program. However the uninsulated building is a problem. Remember the scene from Rocky where Stallone exercises inside a meat locker punching away at a side of beef? Conditions inside the gym in the mornings aren't that far off! Don't get me wrong, I'm no wimp. Heck, I just got back from a winter camping trip over New Years where I endured freezing temperatures for just under a week. The problem with the gym is the combination of sweating and cold combined; it's just not good. Obviously having just joined, I have no idea what summers are like, but I can't image they are pleasant in Chico's triple digit heat! The other limitation of the gym are its hours. Kaia FIT holds four classes a day, and that is it. Unless a class is being held, the gym is not open for members to exercise. This is far from being a full service fitness facility, and considering what you pay, it isn't a great deal. The one feature Kaia does provide is a single sex environment; men are not allowed. But unless you really have issues exercising in mixed company, I would take my money elsewhere. If honest local poster like me are getting their reviews scrubbed from Yelp, I wouldn't trust them.

She has single-handedly turned what should've been a simple Active&Fit membership into a headache built on lies and control. The gym is still publicly listed on the official Active&Fit network, but she decided to "make her own rules" and deny access anyway, claiming I'd used the location too much -- even though I pay through an approved program. That's not policy; that's power-tripping. It's the kind of shady behavior that makes you question how a franchise like this is being run. She knew exactly how much effort it takes to get a workout in -- the pre-workout, the scheduling, the childcare, the balance between work and life -- and still didn't offer a single complimentary day or ounce of decency. She chose to make things harder, not easier. That's not customer service; that's ego. I actually had to call Anytime Fitness corporate myself, and thankfully they were professional enough to refund me the last three months. Still, that doesn't give me my wasted time back. Now I have to start from scratch, hunt for a new gym, and rebuild the consistency I already had -- all because one owner/manager thought she was above the system. If you value honesty, accountability, and fairness, stay far away from this location. It's run by someone who believes rules don't apply to her, and that's not the kind of environment anyone should have to train in.
