But I'm realistic, so "less" rolls and flab would be fine by me. Totally reasonable, right? I also wanted to start eating better, just little steps toward being physically awesome and yummy or whatever. But more than all that is my energy level. [at the time of this writing] I'm 42, and I have noticed how much more energy it takes to get out of bed, do my husband/parenting/work thing and generally take on the day. It's been 2 months since I started seeing Ashley, and I'm not going to say this has been easy. Hell, anyone that has thought of or even gone so far as buying a gym membership will tell you it's not easy, even to show up. She set me up with a meal plan that fit my eating habits and taught me how to monitor and count my macros. I've been able to stay disciplined with my diet and managed to stick with my workout program as well. The first week she worked with me each day to teach me proper form and how to complete a set of reps for my routine. After she and I both felt comfortable enough to let me work through my program solo, I continued on my path to a better me each week. If I had any questions, she was one phone call away. If there was something I wanted to incorporate into my diet that wasn't already listed, she made sure to do so. I am an elliptical girl and there are three to choose from, while I sometimes dont get to use "my" machine, I never have to wait. There are a lot of weight machines and free weights as well as a group class room. There are a lot of young people here, I believe they have special for students. They are clean and have cleaning supplies and signs to encourage you to clean up after yourself, which I appreciate. Its so HOT in here though even with the fans on, I am always very sweaty and not in a workout way. I would love to see more fans in the cardio portion as we are on those machines for a long time to burn calories and not able to move around like the weights people.

My daughter and I tried out the 9am class at South Chico Fit Body Boot Camp, this morning. We left…read moreexhausted and sweaty, but feeling great! The workout area is carpeted and a bit bouncy. Everyone worked out in their socks and they don't allow outside shoes on the mat. It was clean and the air smelled good inside. They start out with a warm up and we transitioned through 5 different circuits. A trainer/ coach demonstrated moves to follow, with ropes, weighted balls, dumbells, and pull up handles (I'm not sure what they are called). I signed us up for the 21 days for $21 deal they are having.
