Neighbors, we just installed permanent Christmas lights with Trimlight DFW. Justin was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. I liked him because he was a young family man who purchased this business here in DFW after 4 years experience with the company. Our installer, Ryan, was also a pleasure to work with. Ryan worked for over 13 hours straight, high up on the ladder, with earbuds in, singing the whole time. Justin is able to give you a quick quote that can be easily adjusted to meet your needs using the software on his iPad. We are using our lights as accent, downlighting and security until December. The cost for this service was more expensive than I expected but Justin made design changes to fit my family's budget. The control box for the front of the house worked perfectly and has continued to follow our timer schedule without fail. We had problems with the control box in the backyard so Ryan replaced it immediately and Justin helped me troubleshoot several times. He was always patient and responsive. My lights are up and running and they are G O R G E O U S!!! The whole process has been handled so well. I had a zoom call to talk about what I wanted and answer any questions. I accepted the bid and got on the schedule pretty quickly. The actual lights were delayed in shipping (because everything is delayed right now), but they came out anyway and installed the channels and wiring. The guys (Sean and Michael) were super friendly and professional. When the lights came in the following week they sent a team out to get them installed quickly. Again the guys (Ryan and Matt) were super friendly and professional. Are these lights more expensive than normal lights? Well of course they are - you never have to mess with them again. But if you are paying someone $200 a year to install your normal lights, this will eventually pay off. PLUS we can use them on the 4th and on Halloween and anytime we feel the occasion calls for lights. At Christmas time, we don't have to worry about getting on the schedule for someone to come out and possibly not getting them up until mid December - we just turn them on when we are ready. I really enjoy lighting our house for holidays and special events. Our old home was a one-story and it was easy for me to hang the lights myself. Our new house is a two-story and I was pretty intimidated by the height of the gutters. I had been searching for ideas all over the place. I am not a fan of paying someone to hang and take down lights each year. I was convinced there had to be better options. I ran across TrimLight DFW at the Fort Worth Home Show. We started talking and the more I heard, the more I liked their product. Justin is very knowledgeable about the products and I had a lot of fun talking about possibilities. Two things sold me; one, I will never have to get on the ladder and, two, the warranty. These things are built to last a long time. If we run into any issues along the way, I know Justin will be there to take care of it. They were installed in one day and that first night, six neighbors stopped to talk about the lights and were amazed how well the channel and lights are hidden until the lights come on. My new Trimlight system was installed Tuesday by Sam. Expectations have been exceeded every step of the process! Grant, Carrie Ann, Sam, and Justin have all been a delight to work with. They are professional, on time, efficient, and go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. The first night my lights were on, the system took my breath away. The lights look amazing and the app is very easy to use and super fun to play with. I love how customizable it is, and am excited to have lights this holiday season that don't look like every other house on the block. We are really enjoying the lighting system from TrimLight DFW. Craig and Josh did a great job installing them and when they were finished, Craig cleaned up while Josh showed me how to work the app. The colours are completely customizable, as are all the patterns we can create; my grand daughters are having fun creating display patterns for Grandma & Grandpa's house and we've made up displays for when our favourite sports teams win. So much easier than paying someone to put up then take down lights at Xmas time, plus we can use these all year round, not just the one holiday. Trimlite DFW is awesome! From the bid to installation, everyone was so wonderful. My trimlights were recently installed. The installation process took several hours, but very little time was needed from me, and there are no visible wires or bulbs. Ryan and Shawn were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions regarding installation and usage. The lights look great when on and offer so many colors and patterns. Just got our installation done. Pleased with the results. It will take some time to learn about the app and all it can do. For those thinking about getting the lights, check your Wi Fi signal where the controller will be installed. Best thing about the system is that now I can get rid of my malibu landscape lighting.
