    Trilo-Bites Sweet Treats
    Jill B.

YUMMY!!! David and the rest of the Trilo-Bites team were super helpful and were patient while my kids were deciding on what to get. My root beer float was delicious! Hubby enjoyed the twist float with sprite, oldest stayed classic with vanilla in a cone and my little two split the Trilo-Bites Twist (and were given an extra cone so they don't have to share that!)

Take out snack and ice cream spot in the Dinosaur Area of Animal Kingdom. Came here in the afternoon around 4pm to eat something cold. There was a short line where you have to go to the first counter to order and pay, and then you receive your order at the next window. Utensils and napkins are self-service. Credit cards are accepted We opted for the Trilo-Bites Twist due to seeing a multitude of people walking around and enjoying it, but it was an acquired taste. It's an Orange creamsicle soft serve, so it took some time getting used to the tartness of the orange against the creaminess of the neon green vanilla. It's a good size for two people to share. For those 21+, you can opt to get a drizzle of vanilla vodka on top for an additional fee (we didn't do this). There's savory food options and regular chocolate and vanilla soft serve as well.

My friend and I ordered the Trilo-Bites Twist (DOLE Whip Orange and Vanilla Soft-Serve Ice Cream). The vanilla is actually green. I'm not a fan of fruit flavors, but this wasn't bad overall. It's large enough that I would recommend sharing the treat.

Tril-bites is a cute little kiosk that is located near the dinosaur location of the animal kingdom theme park. It is themed to fossils and sells a handful of items, such as ice cream, drinks and a couple little snacks. This stop I decided to just get the Bugs N' Grub ice cream. This is a chocolate ice soft serve that is served in a green waffle cone. Within the ice cream they placed a couple gummy worms and a white chocolate bug on the top to make it look like bugs are in it! The ice cream was the perfect amount of creamy and sweet and thick enough to where it didn't automatically melt in the heat! The cast members that work here are insanely friendly and I was very quickly waited on and my order was altogether in less than five minutes, including waiting in a line of a couple people as well. Prices are generic disney prices and for the price of this ice cream cone, there was definitely more than enough for two people!

    Buffalo chicken chips. Just ok.

So we were looking for our next quick snack. Here they also had the Lands end margarita with a salt rim! Pretty tasty! Also a really nice beer ale that was very refreshing. Foot food we only got the buffalo chicken chips. Pretty good but just ok. Most people were getting the shakes which looked really good but not for us today.

Trilo-bites is amazing! Not just because the name is adorable but because the food they sell is amazing and filling! Prices are a little pricey, but what do you expect when you're buying food at a theme park? When I went and ordered, I chose the bugs n' grub ice cream cone mainly because the temperature was basically the surface of the sun! It's a chocolate ice cream cone, soft serve, with a green waffle cone and gummy worms with a white chocolate bug topping! The ice cream was amazing and not overly sweet! For the price, I definitely recommend it! They offer cups of water at this place in case you need a drink and don't want to spend the money on a $5+ bottle of water. It's definitely worth taking a visit to this quick service kiosk to try one of their many different items they have to offer here!

We made a quick stop here for a snack refuel on our way to further exploration of the park. They offer a small menu with just sliders and waffle sundaes. There are a few benches in the immediate area, but they aren't covered at all. On a hot day, this wasn't really helpful. A fair amount of seat real estate was also taken up by non-eating patrons, so we squished to an end of a bench. The waffle sundae was good. Prices are a little high here, but it's Disney! Overall: B Good place for quick snack. Not so good for cooling off and sitting down.

I stopped by here on a whim since I noticed they had buffalo chicken chips. First off. The service was incredibly friendly and awesome. The food was great, and the seasonal eggnog milkshake was so yummy!!! This place is easy to overlook but I'm glad I didn't

Trilo-bites, located in Dinoland inside the Animal Kingdom park, has some interesting offerings that you won't find elsewhere in the park. The buffalo chicken nachos have some tasty toppings, but the seasoned chips they use can be too salty. They also have some interesting chocolate and bourbon milkshakes that are a bit different. There are a few picnic benches in front of the food stand, but they are not covered.

The Smokey Bones Milkshake with bourbon and candied bacon

Today was the hottest day of our Disney Trip, though I think Disney pumps heat into Animal Kingdom secretly to get you to buy more alcohol. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it. After coming off Dinosaur, Trilo Bites jumped out at me because of the Maine menu item "The Buffalo Chicken Chips" but it was too hot out to enjoy but I will for sure be back to try this in the cooler months. It did allow me to read the menu closer where I spotted the -Smokey Bones Chocolate Shake - includes bourbon and candied bacon $10.00 This is a semi strong adult milk shake with a full delicious slice of candies bacon. This was really well made. Bacon candy is hard to get perfect, I know I've tried and this was delicious. As Disney prices go $10 is somewhat reasonable for a drink this well made.

Do not eat!! When i first saw the picture of this item it looked really good! However when i received my order i was disappointed. Almost 10 dollars for some burnt chips, a couple pieces of chicken and no dressing. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone

Dirt & worms style cone as advertised at service window (doesn't match actual product)
    Denise N.

Was looking forward to this version of "dirt & worms" from my daughter's childhood but sadly they barely put any Oreo dust on it :( It's pretty much a standard chocolate cone with a gummy worm on top. We even went back & request additional "dirt" and were told "we can't do that". This is the actual cone and the contrast to the picture of the posted treat at the concession window. Very disappointed not only in the treat itself but the response to the normally outstanding level of Disney customer service. Many of the cones came out with even less than ours.

    Done!

Turkey legs! Get your turkey leg here! After a morning of walking around in the park, be sure to stop by this food stand to get your turkey leg! Your trip to the Animal Kingdom is not complete until you've had one... unless of course you're not a carnivore, in which case, you should probably skip this food stand. :)

Nice change from the turkey legs!

From the moment we grabbed our food, we knew this wasn't your typical theme park meal. Every dish looked like it belonged in an upscale restaurant, and the flavors backed up the presentation. Now I had The Ocean Moon Bowl and it was the standout of the meal. The tuna was incredibly fresh, the blue noodles were cooked perfectly, and every bite had a balance of creamy avocado, crisp vegetables, tangy pickled toppings, and the rich umami from the miso and sweet soy drizzle. It was colorful, refreshing, and easily one of the best quick-service meals I've ever had. The Cheeseburger Pods absolutely lived up to the hype. Think of all the flavors of a classic cheeseburger wrapped inside soft, pillowy steamed bao buns. They were unique, comforting, and unlike anything else you'll find in the parks. Paired with the crunchy vegetable slaw topped with boba fruit pops and chips, it made for a fun and satisfying dish. Then came dessert... and WOW!!! The Mangkwan Mousse was rich without being overly sweet. The cinnamon chocolate mousse, caramelized banana cake, and chocolate-sesame crumble created a dessert that was beautifully balanced and packed with flavor. The Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse was equally impressive. The presentation alone was stunning, but the combination of creamy cheesecake, blueberry, and bright passion fruit curd made it the perfect way to end the meal. It was light, refreshing, and almost too beautiful to eat. Beyond the food, Satu'li Canteen delivers an atmosphere that perfectly complements Pandora. The attention to detail, creative menu, and quality ingredients make it feel far above what you'd expect from a quick-service restaurant. Final Verdict: If I could recommend just one quick-service restaurant at Walt Disney World, Satu'li Canteen would be at the top of my list. Incredible presentation, fresh ingredients, unique flavors, generous portions, and desserts that rival many table-service restaurants. This wasn't just a great theme park meal,it was a genuinely outstanding dining experience.

There is outdoor and indoor seating available, but most were clamouring for indoor seating since it was hot day. Thankfully, I was able to secure a table while my partner went to go order the food. We shared: Spicy Pork Steamed "Pods" Chimuchurri Beef and Grilled chicken bowl We had conducted our research prior go our trip, and knew we wanted to try both of these items. The pods were good, but we enjoyed the protein bowl more, as it was a larger portion, and the components of the dish made it more appetising to us. Overall, I thought they were good choices. BOTTOM LINE A decent snack/meal at Satu'li Canteen. I'd recommend the protein bowl for sure, but do try the pork pods since those seem to be quite popular in Pandora.

Where's breakfast again?…read more Was that at Susan's? No. Daisy's? No. Minnie's? Oh! That's right! We're going to Olivia's Cafe for breakfast! And so we did. NOTES 1. Located in the main building of Disney's Old Key West Resort. As one might expect, it's very nautical themed. 2. We arrived before 9:00am, and thankfully the restaurant wasn't very crowded and we were seated immediately. Thanks to the lovely cast member that sat us in a both at the end. However, there were noticeably more people dining when we left. 3. We dined at Olivia's Cafe in November 2025 (yes, this review is a bit late), as we were guests of Old Key West. Our server introduced herself and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. In the end, I chose the sombrero omelet, while my partner chose the Buttermilk Chicken with an add-on Mickey waffle. Our very own coffee carafe completed our meal. We liked the food honestly. There's no better way to express it. The portions were decent, and the food was delivered in a timely manner. Also, I thought the option of the adding the Mickey waffle was just magical. SERVICE Our server, Cara, provided outstanding customer service. We appreciated her patience, knowledge and expertise regarding the menu, as well as checking on us periodically throughout the meal. Well done, Cara! side NOTE Cara did explain to us that their breakfast potatoes were on the cheesier side of the dairy spectrum, and that it was not to the liking of some former customers/diners. And to be honest, the potatoes are mixed/tossed in cheese, but it wasn't like they were drenched IMHO. BOTTOM LINE A wonderful breakfast at Olivia's Cafe. Its a great breakfast option for guests at Old Key West. Recommended.

Gorgeous setting. Now if only the food matched the atmosphere. --The Prime Rib-- The slow-cooked prime rib was flavorless and arrived lukewarm. The au jus wasn't much help either. Think beef broth with no seasoning and you're basically there. This looked, felt, and tasted dead. Not what you expect from a prime rib centerpiece. --The Chicken-- The Southernmost Buttermilk Chicken was OK--/emphasis on OK. But like the prime rib, the seasoning was an afterthought. Pass the salt and pepper if you want any flavor out of either dish. --The Dessert-- I took the server's recommendation and went with the Pineapple Mango Upside-Down Cake. Why did I listen? The presentation is beautiful. The taste did not keep up. Lesson learned. --The Drinks-- The Turtle Krawl was the bright spot of the meal. Think rum punch on a warm afternoon and you've got the right idea. It's a great treat...just don't expect it to rescue the food. --The Verdict-- Olivia's Cafe has the setting and the atmosphere locked in. The kitchen has some catching up to do. I followed the hostess through the spacious restaurant until he placed me at a small booth table. My server was very pleasant. She approached the table, warmly greeted me, and asked if I would like some orange juice, which I gladly accepted. At the same time, I placed an order for their apple cinnamon french toast. Wow, I was impressed with the presentation. Three thick slices of bread nicely browned with cinnamon-spiced apple filling and dusted with powdered sugar. This dish didn't need any syrup. They may have been waiting on more staff since half the restaurant was empty. Our food was fine but on par with Denny's or Perkins. My potatoes were slightly undercooked and warm at best. Worst part: we came here to use a gift card since we're moving out of the country in three days. Sorry, our machine isn't taking gift cards at this time so just use it next time. We told the manager it only had $10 and she said there was nothing she could do. I found a local couple on our way out and gave it to them. I know there are a few locations but we planned to stop at this location specifically during a last min birthday staycation (but not *on* my brthday) If you look online this routinly is on lists of date night and good group dining spots and there will inevitably be a ton of people in the comments complaining about it being "mid" or "basic" but that wasn't our experience at all. We had a great experience here. We initially booked for the first time of our staycation but called last min to push back a few days as I wasn't feeling very well. It was no issue at all and they changed our reservation without issue or complaints & wished me well. The space is really cool. MCM in design with a touch of California beach bungalow. We were seated in a back room with a view of the lake behind. It was a bit loud but most places are these days. I am deaf in one of my ears so one I told our server & she spoke up over the noise and it was a non-issue. Appreciated because that's not always the case. We ordered a glass of wine and the "Shirley After Dark" cocktail (I know it's a wine bar but I just felt like a cocktail) loved it. Would absolutely order it again. We ordered the house salad which was far from basic and delicious and fresh. Very light and decent size. My husband also aired the Cauliflower app which was massive. The hummus was delicious. I'm not a fan of cauliflower but he raved about it. We also split the Butchers Pizza and had them out the hot honey on the side. I can't do spice after destroying my stomach in college so they brought me a side of normal honey so I could hector full flavor profile within my dietary needs. We got to speaking with our server whose name I unfortunately can't remember (light blonde shoulder length hair if management reads this) & she was very knowledgeable about the wine selection. We're not white wine drinkers but the FL heat is a little too much for a glass of red most days so we're trying to get into it. She had 3 recommendations and brought me all three to taste. Unfortunatly I enjoyed was sold out by the time we ordered it (which at the height of tourist summer isn't beyond the realm of reasonability) We then ordered the affogato and olive oil cake. Both were delicious. It was my husband's first time trying an affogato and it has since become a favorite of his. It was mentioned in passing while chatting that we were in a last min staycation as it was my birthday week and we didn't plan anything in advance and made it clear it was not my birthday but she still comped my cocktail and the olive oil cake and wrote a lighthearted "sorry we were out of the wine" on our receipt. Which was a genuinely nice & unexpected gesture. The entire meal was quite affordable even before anything got comped compared with other options of the same caliber in the area. Portons are quite large as well. While I don't love communal tables typically, almost no one was seated at the same table and if they were it was quite far apart (see photos). I can see that being bothersome on a busy night but we were there on a summer night (busy enough to run out of a wine) so I can't imagine it being typically worse than that So I say again, I don't understand what people don't like about this place. We'll be back.
