I would never have guessed that one of the best places for breakfast in Walt Disney World is located in Animal Kingdom's Pandora section based on James Cameron's Avatar franchise. I am a fan of the Avatar films, but you do not have to be to enjoy one of the best breakfast spots in Disney World. If visiting the Animal Kingdom park, it is worth a short stroll to the Pandora section to dine at Satu'li Canteen. Even nonfans of Avatar can enjoy the sci-fi/otherworldly rainforest theming of this counter service restaurant. The main dining area has plenty of spacious seating for groups of various sizes. The prices are in the typical theme park inflated range, but well worth it for the quality of food and drink guests are served. They take natural ingredients and use them to make your meal look like it is influenced by Na'vi cuisine. As an example, our Specialty Ube Cold Brew featured strong lavender colors from the Ube in it. It was made with Joffrey's Coffee Cold Brew, Ube, Oat Milk, and Pure Cane Syrup. This coffee drink is divine. For her meal, my wife ordered the decadent Cinnamon French Toast with Blueberry Cream Cheese, Passion Fruit Anglaise, and Sausage. I tried a bite and was floored with how delicious it was. As for me, I ordered the king of savory dishes known as the Frittata and Beef. It featured a Vegetable-Goat Cheese Frittata with Wood-fired Beef Tossed in Chimichurri. I am still having withdrawals from not being able to easily obtain this dish. We came for the breakfast after seeing Pixie Dusted Phoebe rave about it on Youtube. My daughters and I each ordered a Cinnamon French toast with sausage. The Specialty Cold Brew flight caught my eye so I decided to go for it even though I had coffee on the way to the park. The Ube Cold Brew was probably my favorite, followed by the regular cold brew, and the Matcha cold brew last. They have milk at the utensil area which was nice because I could control how much went in. The French toast was really tasty thanks to the blueberry cream cheese and passion fruit anglaise. First thing in the morning the service is quick and you can sit wherever you want after getting food. They do a great job keeping the dining room clean and stocked. I love how colorful the plates are, and it's served in a Chipotle-style ordering fashion: you pick a protein, base, and sauce. I think the options are catered for a healthier and lighter meal, which sometimes you don't want. - Create-Your-Own Satu'li Bowl This is their main mix-and-match bowl, and it tastes like healthy food you'd get at those customizable healthy food chains. They top each bowl off with some strips of slaw and mildly sweet popping boba. I don't think the flavors are too enticing in description, so I've only tried the rice, noodles, beef, and charred green onion vinaigrette. The rice and black beans are on the hard and dry side, and so are the yakisoba/chow mein-like noodles. While the protein would taste better hot, the beef is more like cold premium roast beef slices. The charred green onion vinaigrette is zesty, but ideally there'd be more to cover the rice. I'm surprised that this is popular, despite enjoying how healthy it is, as I really don't think the choices are likable for everyone. - Ocean Moon Bowl I wouldn't expect much from a poke bowl served at Disney, but this was pretty good! I loved how playful all the colors are in this dish, and they're all natural! The tuna and veggies were fresh, and the noodles actually had a nice al dente chew. There were so many textures and refreshing flavors in this bowl, and I'd happily order it again. - Pandoran Sunrise This just tastes like a diluted fruit punch. The Coca-Cola cup kind of tastes away from the Pandoran experience! - Teylu All-Beef Hot Dog wrapped in Dough This reminds me of Chinese hot dog buns! I liked it, though the dough could be fluffier. I can't say it's a filling meal, but it'll do as a snack. - Metkayina Mousse This dessert is fun and good if you like chocolate. The mousse is tasty and light, and well decorated with chocolate leaves and "dirt" crumbles. The raspberry gel in the middle balances out the richness of the chocolate, and evens out the ratio of mousse with something different. If you like fruits and chocolate, get this! - Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse It has a very artsy presentation, though I can't really taste the cream cheese. I wonder if it's making the mousse thicker? It's more of a fruity mousse with a very tart passion fruit curd on top. Fun to eat once. It's pretty spacious with good AC inside, but it gets surprisingly full due to popularity. I think the space could be upgraded to be more maneuverable, since you have to walk around some areas unnecessarily to get somewhere due to the decorative barriers/half-walls they designed. The architecture is some weird mix of hybrid human tech and natural Na'vi decor. I'll commend them for their creativity, but I would love to see a better selection! read more

Really good park food. This restaurant is in Animal Kingdom, near the Pandora area. There is plenty of seating inside and some outside also. We tried the Cheesburger Bao Buns - it came with a slaw with mango boba pearls in it and veggie chips. The whole meal was delicious. The buns were super fluffy and big. The cheeseburger mix inside went really well with the bun and was cheesy and hot. The slaw was refreshing and crisp. I thought the mango boba would be weird, but it really was good and cut through the vinegar in the slaw. The veggie chips were crispy and flavorful, as well as plentiful - I didn't eat them all. I've officially decided... this might just be my favorite restaurant in all of Walt Disney World Orlando. It's quick service, tons of indoor seating, and honestly such a great find. I ordered the chimichurri beef with shrimp over rice and beans, plus the creamy herb dressing--so good! And I love that you can serve your own drinks and get refills. They even have sugar-free lemonade and Vitamin Water... total win. The food felt surprisingly healthy and super satisfying for the price. I also saw a bunch of people getting the bao-style burgers, and they looked really filling for $8.99. Pro tip: you can order the kids' version for just under $6. I'm glad they had some breakfast offerings at the park! After riding flight of passage we were lured here by the promise of fun lattes... cold brew ube and matcha to be exact. They were excellent! Literally so good. We mobile ordered for a faster experience which went well. There were also lots of seats to sit at since it was 9am. My friend and I both had the blueberry French toast. We didn't have the best experience because the restaurant had no forks when we were there, which made eating a bit challenging. Also, it was basically impossible to find seating so we had to eat standing up. I was pleasantly surprised that the kids' meals were less than $10 each, which included a drink. The kids are easy and just wanted a cheese quesadilla, which didn't disappoint. We took advantage of early entry to the park, hopped a ride before the crowds and then settled for a nice breakfast to fuel for the rest of the day. Everything was delicious! This is a quick serve location and we were able to grab a table, then mobile order. Our food was ready in minutes. Staff are consistently walking around picking up trash and trays-which was an added bonus for us with kids, stroller and backpacks. It is comfortable inside but plenty of seating outside too. We have really enjoyed Satu'li Canteen in the past, but they have made a couple changes lately that really diminished the experience. All in all, the food taste and selection (including allergy offerings) are good, but the portion sizes and customer service have gotten worse. The actual taste of the food here is still great, we love all of their menu items. But, the portion sizes have noticeably gotten smaller, to the point that most people will need to order 1.5 portions of any of the bowls to get enough food to be full. Also, they not have someone stationed outside the restaurant and you can't go in until your order says it's ready on the app, which is super annoying when it's 98 degrees outside. Still worth a visit in AK, but be prepared to order more than one portion and order very early before you get there so you don't need to stand out in the heat! read more

The better half put together the chimichurri beef & chicken with sweet potato hash, and a green onion sauce. Both were made to order and both were actually quite delicious / flavorful. The meats and poultry were soft / tender and juicy. The portions were just right, not too little and not too much (not that Disney would ever give you too much and cut into their $$ margins). Call me shocked actually. I do believe that we found another go-to quick service place in AK on future trips, if we care to pay the Disney prices. Pardon me, I'm no hardcore Avatar stan, but I know enough to recognize that this fast-casual spot is one of the nicest and most brilliantly themed restaurants in all of the Walt Disney Resort. Located in Pandora - The World of Avatar, the newest themed land at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Satu'li Canteen is a quick-service restaurant nestled at the far end of the land. It sits right next to Pongu Pongu and the Windtraders gift shop, which also serves as the exit for Avatar Flight of Passage, one of Walt Disney World's most popular attractions. Satu'li Canteen made history as the first restaurant at Disney World to offer Mobile Order through the My Disney Experience app, which has become a now-standard and highly recommended time-saver especially for those who want to order their food while browsing this extraordinary land. The process for our group of five was simple and intuitive, making it easy to skip the line and get back to exploring, as the real wait lies in finding the right table for you and your party to sit in. There is both a breakfast and lunch/ dinner menu at Satu'li Canteen, and by the time we got off both the Na'vi River Journey and the Flight of Passage rides, we were famished for something to eat. The lunch menu at Satu'li Canteen is separated into categories including their Entrées, Plant-Based, Kids' Meals, Desserts or "Ber'ri" in the Na'vi language, Beverages with and without alcohol, and various Allergy-Friendly sections including Gluten/ Wheat, Egg, Fish/ Shellfish, Milk, Peanut/ Tree Nut, Sesame, and Soy. I decided to order their Combination Bowl which had Smoked Chimichurri-braised Beef paired with Wood-Grilled Chicken Thighs marinated in Garlic and Olive Oil, topped with crunchy Vegetable Slaw and Boba Balls, and served with your choice of Base, which I chose noodles and a choice of sauce of which I choose a creamy savory ranch sauce. To pair with my meal I ordered their Pandoran Sunrise, which featured Dole Pineapple Juice and Minute Maid Limeade which in turn was blended with Powerade Melon and Powerade Fruit Punch. And for dessert, I ordered their Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse which was served with Passion Fruit Curd and a piece of white chocolate. Others in our party ordered their Chili-Garlic Shrimp Bowl, which featured Shrimp tossed in a Chili-Garlic Sauce topped with Crunchy Vegetable Slaw and Boba Balls served with their choice of Base, again noodles, and choice of Sauce, again ranch; and their Cheese Quesadilla from the Kids' Meal section of their menu, which was Cheddar and Mozzarella grilled in a Tortilla served with Vegetable Chips and a Cuties Mandarin served with their choice of a small Dasani Bottled Water. It does take some time to receive word that your meal is ready. Since it was so crowded at the entire park the day we visited, you have to show the hosts guarding the front entranceway that your order is ready for pickup. And then the real challenge begins in finding a table that will fit your whole party, but we got lucky in the outdoor dining area, as I retrieved our meal, which is served in a quasi-mess hall cafeteria setting. You show your meal order to their team and they present your meal to you on a tray. The airport hangar like interior was impressively themed but it was too loud and cavernous to enjoy dining inside in a meaningful, especially if you are a fan on of the movies.As for the food, I really enjoyed my Combination Bowl, especially the chimichurri-braised beef, which was the standout. Mixed with the egg-based noodles, creamy dressing, and bursting boba balls, it delivered a flavor-packed experience. Was it the warmest meal I've ever had? Not quite. The mess-hall, fast-casual setup means most ingredients are pre-made and ready to scoop, so meal temperature takes a hit. The dessert leaned overly sweet, and my drink felt like a mix of too many competing flavors to be truly enjoyable. With others ordering fountain drinks separately, our total order was a bit over 70 dollars before tax was included which was actually a fairly reasonably priced meal considering where we were dining at, and the ambience we were able to take in. Themed restaurants may come and go, but Satu'li Canteen is here to stay, especially with three more Avatar films on the horizon. As long as the menu continues to evolve with fresh creations, Disney's Animal Kingdom will offer a unique experience that satisfies both fans of the films and the theme park alike. read more

Came here for breakfast. They offer GF items that you can also order to go on the Disney app. We shared the GF potato hash and the beef frittata. It came out on a purple tray with allergy sticks. The food was delicious! Definitely exceeded our expectations. read more

Satu'li Canteen is undoubtedly the best quick-service restaurant I've experienced at the resort. The immersive atmosphere, filled with captivating sounds and decor, really makes you feel like you're in Pandora. What truly amazed me, though, was the food--it's genuinely tasty! This is the finest meal I've had across all the parks. The mobile ordering feature is a fantastic convenience. I appreciate being able to easily choose my meals, grab my order swiftly, and request the popping boba to be left out (they tend to overdo it!). Situated at the rear of Pandora, right by the exit of the Flight of Passage ride, Satu'li Canteen has plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The restaurant is spacious and well laid out. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but I highly recommend the beef noodle bowls. They are my favorite choice and always hit the mark! read more

Satu'li Canteen is located in the Pandora section of Animal Kingdom. In the Disney universe this is one of the better quick service casual restaurants for those visiting Animal Kingdom. I had lunch there last week while visiting one more time this Park. It has indoor and outdoor seating and to save a little time I ordered my meal thru the app. I ordered the combination bowl of beef and chicken for my protein along with rice and beans for the base and for the sauce the charred vinaigrette for 17.49. The bowl was interestingly looking with the smoked chimichurri beef and chopped wood grilled chicken on the beans and rice. Taste wise, I liked it but while the rice and beans were good, I would like to try the same protein with noodles next time. The meal was also filling and somewhat of a bargain for Disney food. I give a 3 score here because the food was good. read more

I heard this was the place to go for delicious fast food. I think the flavors were good but the amount was not very filling. The service was fast and efficient in the casual setting. Ample seating inside and outside. This is located just outside of the flight of passage rife in pandora. read more
