It's a must go to if you love figs stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped in bacon. Great wine list. I sat at the bar per usual and Kevin was the bartender. He was very attentive to my food experience. 10/10 I will be back. BTW. It would be a very nice date night restaurant to enjoy. Just beautiful

Great setting for a delightful dinner. Service was outstanding, Riley was very attentive yet left us alone to enjoy our time. I would request her again. Cocktails were top shelf and we enjoyed the trout almandine. Wedge salad was also very substantial. Gluten allergy was not an issue at all, as there were several options.

Fine dining. Understated elegance, with dim lighting, velvet seating creating a luxury tone. Each room has its own unique decor, pristine linens, adding to the refined feel. Private, warm intimate ambiance. Service is great. Best Risotto I've had. Love the vibe here.

We tried this new restaurant for lunch. We were not dressed up and this place is very fancy. The service was very good and the yellowfin tuna is the best thing I've had in a restaurant in a long time. Complex layers of creamy guacamole with spicy and acidic from pickled salad. House made blue cheese dressing was wonderful on my house salad and the pot pie was also very good. Nice wine list.

This was a special drink Jill recommended. It had a small lighted cube in it. Delicious!!

We were a little early but went in and were amazed at the gorgeous interior. The fireplaces have the tiny lights and fantastic chandeliers. There was another dining area where you could see outside and the beautiful huge oak tree wrapped in lights. Atmosphere means a lot. We were greeted by Jill and Nick the manager Trent and the cute bartender. Everyone checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Laura had trout almondine and she loved it. Gail had pompano perfectly cooked. I had trout trilby and I can't begin to describe such a great dish. We also had brussel sprouts and spinach. Also amazing crusty bread with olive oil. We also ordered peach cobbler with ice cream. This was an incredible dining experience. We will definitely be back.

Great desserts! Chocolate bread pudding and crème brûlées both wonderful.

Went for dinner last weekend. We had French onion soup and gumbo and we enjoyed both. Sautéed crab claws are a must too. We ordered the trout trilby and trout amandine for our entrees that were delicious. Recommend the loaded potato with a cheesy béchamel sauce as a side. Great first time back dining since the reopening. Wonderful job on the decor and ambience inside. We will happily return.

5 stars all the way. Food, service, ambiance. Everything was as hoped. Not a single sub-5 star second of tonight's dinner experience.

My boyfriend and I love going to Bacchus on the Bayou, even though we live closer to Bacchus on the…read moreBluff. The food here is consistently better, and the oysters, especially, just taste fresher here than the other one. However, for whatever reason, the last two times we've been here, we've just had some miserable waitresses. The time before this one, our waitress had been crying and was walking around teary-eyed, but still managed to give us impeccable service. This time, though, was by far the worst service I've ever received in my life. The waitress we had today was just almost rude. There was no smile at all, no awareness, and no patience - just nothing. At times, she would start walking away before we finished talking and would not give us eye contact. I'm not sure what's going on behind the scenes here, but would highly recommend that she go through another round of training, or maybe find another job that she actually enjoys. If we were tipping just based on service, I would say we received the bare minimum. Being the person my boyfriend is, he refused to give less than a 20% tip, because he knows that restaurant and bar staff are not paid especially well, but I really do feel like some effort has to be made. I haven't felt the need to write a review on Yelp again until now, but the service today was just excruciatingly painful. When I had commented to my boyfriend that maybe she was having a bad day, he even said that there was no reason for her to be taking it out on us. If we did not love the food and this was our first time, we would never come back.

Too many issues in one meal to believe it was maybe just an "off day". I understand that Mother's…read moreDay (and the sun shinning) brings in a bigger crowd, but given that the restaurant was advertising a Mother's Day brunch AND they didn't even change the menu from their standard brunch menu, that they would be more prepared. We were seated right away (we did call a head of time to give them a heads up about our group size [10], even with the understanding of no reservations and first come first serve). Drinks were ordered and then brought out randomly and just left in the middle of the table, never with the person who ordered. NEVER offered a refill on anything. Not on water, sodas or even alcohol. Food order was placed pretty quickly. Waitress even mentioned that the Beef Debris PoBoy is good in flavor but that it's the most returned and or disappointed menu item when ordered in larger groups (I believe because it's wet). I took her recommendations and ordered 3 side items asking for them all to be together as a meal. Food is delivered and quite a few things were wrong or missing. Burger - missing standard toppings & over cooked to a hockey puck. Several missing items - meals and sides. The food runners were very confused and couldn't even speak when we tried to address the messed up food. Still no drink refills offered and the waitress was gone for so long we couldn't address the missing meals for a while. The food runners never said anything about the issues. Again, I get it, it's Mother's Day, but a suggestion was made (not requested) and then the alternative was incredibly messed up. Little apologies for any of the missing item issues and then the bills were all messy. None of these issues pointed to the kitchen so it's the rare time I don't appreciate an auto gratuity.
