Despite my large, clearly posted "no trespassing, no soliciting" sign, earlier this afternoon, I was visited by two men from Triguard pest control. I understand I could have chosen to not answer the door, however I have strong feelings about my property and privacy being respected and the peace of my home. When I answered the door, I asked if they had seen the large sign "No trespassing, no soliciting, private property. Enter at your own risk" sign, which is posted right over my garage door, well before you approach the front door, they claimed to not have seen it. I informed them they were trespassing, and that I was not interested in doing business with any company that did not respect my property and ignored signs. One of the two men responded with "If that's the way you live your life, I'm sorry for you." As they were leaving, my wife and children arrived home. The same man who made the comment about how I live my life told my wife they would be back next week to spray. We have pets that are very sensitive to chemicals. At best, they would get sick, and given their sensitivity, it is possible they could suffer permanent damage or die. The comment from this man was at the very least dishonest and unethical, and potentially threatening or harassment. I will be calling the local police non-emergency number to report this, though I don't expect anything to come of it, I just want it on record. I *STRONGLY* recommend NOT giving Triguard pest control your business, and if they ignored your no soliciting sign, ask you to consider reporting them. read more

Well, I guess I can chalk this up to an expensive lesson learned. This company engages in all manor of bad business practices and, if you sign up, you are likely to regret it. My experience is more or less consistent with what others are describing here: pushy door-to-door salesperson, fees not accurately disclosed, contract not initially provided, PESTS NOT EXTERMINATED, and billing beyond what was disclosed. Trying to cancel now. Based on what I'm reading, that's going to be a problem. I doubt anyone working there cares enough to read this, but just in case: You work for a bad business. You should expect more of yourself in this life. You can get a real job and join the productive members of society. Grift and avarice is not the way of every business, but is the way for this business. If you desire to be a "good" person in your time on Earth, making your money this way should cause you pain. Hunter! You did amazing and let me follow you to show you in detail what we were looking to get done and never once complained. You were very nice and definitely work to please the client and make sure they feel like the job was done correctly while informing me about the kind of chemicals you were using. You also didn't make fun of me about my bug phobia when I almost pushed you out of the way to run outside when I seen a moth in my house. Thanks for being a rock star and making my house bug free! If anyone wants someone friendly, understanding, and chill this is your guy. HUNTEr we will be requesting you for all of our future visits. Thanks! read more

Worst company to deal with. I have a video recording saying I wanted a one time service. Sales person agreed, made me sign something on his phone. Never mentioned it was a contract, also never got the contract emailed to me. Sent the video to the management and they did not want to cancel my contract. Also management is super rude. Do not recommend them to anyone, Also warned all my neighbors. read more

I started a one year contract with TriGuard Pest Control on June 1st, 2025. At this time we started our contract for $155.00 and monthly payments of $55.00 for 1 year. In the contract they provided services every 3 months for that year and bait boxes around the property. My wife and I completed our contract on June 1st 2026 and had electronically paid our monthly payment of $55.00 at this time. We called and canceled our account due to no longer living at the property on June 1st 2026. We were advised that there was a $75.00 fee for removing their bait boxes from the property. They picked up the boxes on June 11th, 2026 and deducted the $75.00 fee at that time. On July 1st after the account being canceled and paid in full in June 2026 they deducted $55.00 from my account. I contacted the company and they agreed yes the account was closed, but stated that a $13.00 balance remained for the service of spraying the property in March 2026 remained. Now spraying the property was included in the contract every 3 months and again they had removed the monthly payment every month for the contract on the first of each month. I had spoken to an account manager who was beyond rude, and had stated that no further balance had remained as we had completed our contract and canceled the service with them. The agent agreed but aggressively argued the $13.00 balance was due. I argued that $13 was much different than $55.00 that they had removed on July 1st. I requested that the difference be returned to my account and the agent refused to reverse the transaction for the difference. I then had to contact my financial institution and report them for fraud. The bank did an investigation and the difference was then reversed and returned to our account. Today August 24th 2026, I received a collection notification from a debit collection company stating that we owe additional funds for services provided on a closed account were due. Now I'm having to provided bank statement showing we had completed our contract and that all monthly payments had been paid in full by us every month of our contract with TriGuard. I would caution anyone looking to hire this company, they will continue to bill for services after completion and cancellation of their contract and try and bill extra for services included and paid. There billing practices and billing account manager's are rude and give you the run around and are aggressive trying to say you owe further but yet when given the facts that 13 is much less than 55 want to threaten. Again I had to report fraud on the company and now they have sent me to collection, so now I'm having to spend time fighting additional fraud from TriGuard. Please look at different companies and stay away from TriGuard Pest Control. I don't want someone else to go through the same situation as we are now fighting. read more

Although it took some convincing, we decided to go ahead with the product. With quick install and very kind individuals, I'm glad to not worry about having rodents. Thank you! read more

Sales person refused to leave the property after telling them we weren't interested. Them minutes later, while I was on my patio, they came around and tried pulling on our secure, locked gate. Again, I told him to leave. He smiled and just stood there and refused to leave. So, I came out and had to confront him and ask what business he was in and what his name was. He would only say his name was Nathan. I had to look up the logo to confirm he is associated with this business. Look at other reviews; these people appear to willfully trespass and engage in hostile sales practices. Literally would not take a hint and leave until I threatened to call the police if he didn't get off the property. read more

Very thorough, and friendly service. New to their service, and first impression was positive.

Very pushy sales person "Nathan" would not take no for an answer. This was extremely unprofessional. Knocked on my door excessively and literally had to shut the door on his face to make him leave. read more

Like many others here, I was bothered at my door in the evening by an extremely pushy salesperson. This is a no-soliciting community, but I see from other experiences that this is frequently ignored. A really lame way to run a company. read more

Very courteous and professional. Tanner went down in the crawl space without hesitation. I had a question about birch borer beetles and the gave me the same answer as the arborists--it can be treated but not likely eradicated for good. read more

Aggressive and inappropriate sales tactics. This company will walk past two no soliciting signs, ignore two right by the door knocker, *admit* the saw them, and just smile in your face as if they're doing something ok by interrupting your dinner. There are great pest control companies that don't use these tactics and do great work and they won't be banging on your door. Keep in mind you're paying a premium with these folks to fund their aggressive marketing tactics. Here in the "Columbia Northwest" region, I have a much better "pest control" company that I found by doing research and reading reviews, not because some young kid who can't read a "No soliciting" sign knocked on my door. read more

Jacob did a great job an very friendly customer service. Supporting local business is great when there is this kind of customer service.

HORRRRRIIIBBBLLLEEEEEEE. Do your due diligence and read the small print because not only do their pushy sales people steam roll you into services. Then they offer to treat between treatments but when you request them they often reply with: well, we'll be out there in a few weeks, so we'll treat then. And then when you decide to cancel they require 30 days written notice. And I just want to know why lol. Why 30 days?? Give me a legitimate answer to that. We gave them over a week. It's not like they couldn't reschedule their treatment folks to a different customer's house in a weeks time! We tried to cancel when they sent a reminder of service (and frankly we had so many spiders and hadn't seen any evidence of them being at our house, we have cameras everywhere, so we thought our service contract had ended) and we got that reminder we were like: oh, we should cancel. So we did. Then they slapped us with a $125 fee and offered to come do one more treatment LMAO... uuuhhhh, no thank you. We haven't seen your people in a long time (they said it's been 3 months but, again, we have ZERO evidence of them coming to our house at that time, and we aren't the only customers who have said this). So now we are stuck paying $125 for a service we DO NOT WANT. Because why? Because of BAD BUSINESS TACTICS. Don't do it y'all. Don't do business with them. They are a shady company, buyer beware! Read your small print. And know they do not care about customer service, they want that last little bit of money they can squeeze out of you. read more
