This was my first time shooting in a very long time. this is the range that my colleague loves to go to, so needing to destress, i decided to join him... we used a bunch of his guns first (a few 22mm, then a 9mm), and after we depleted all of his bullets, we decided to rent some more guns ($10 for all the guns u want (1 at a time though)) and some more ammo i started off slow, but started to get the hang of it as time went on. got a short tutorial from the staff while i was there, as well as instruction from my buddy. The staff was absolutely amazing. they explained each gun to me, and didn't get upset when i asked stupid questions (such as what is the difference between the calibers? or why some guns are so tiny, yet cost nearly $1000!) In the end, i was quite impressed with the service they offer, an the prices are quite reasonable. for 2 people, it was $20 for range time each target started at $1.50 bullets - for a 22mm, it was around $5 for a 9mm, it was around 16 i can't wait to go back...such a fun time (just an expensive hobby!) read more

The range staff are young and quite rude. My interaction was just checking in and out to shoot. I could not imagine being a new shooter or looking to buy a gun and be left to deal with these immature guys. Despite comments by the owner, in response to similar reviews, that he would address the situation....apparently not! Maybe, the rude staff are family members? Regardless, the behavior is abhorrent and remains as others have commented. For those looking to shoot, buy or transfer a gun, there are several much better alternatives within miles of this establishment. read more

This place is good. Simplistic and spacious. Wide selection of inventory. Well mannered staff. read more

Facilitates are ok but the staff is terrible. They are some of the most rude people I have ever met. They also have found new ways to milk more money from you by giving you a piece of plastic to hang your targets on the plastic they charge you 5.00 per hole for any shot that is made on the plastic above the target. For people who are intermediate to beginner shooters it is a little unrealistic and definitely a new way to extract more money form their customers. I will never go back to this place every. New ownership definitely has made a major negative impact on the range. I have been at least 5 times over the past several years and each time It seems to regress and their staff members are on a power trip and treat you rudely. Avoid this place and go to Athens instead. read more

1st, Great Location. 2nd, the staff was as all the others have stated before if their reviews, RUDE! But once you get past, they are at their workplace, then I understand hearing dumb questions all day long too. But to be behind a counter and give Service to Paying Customers, Maybe, you should have listened to your grandparents, who you probably live with, if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything at all. I personally don't need my butt kissed, but respect is always needed unless otherwise denied. Just be nice to people. Most people don't do this every day. They have different jobs in life. Share your amazing, I work at a gun store/range place experience with them. IT IS COOL! Plus, you get paid to be there and do it. So, ease up Francis! 3rd, the front half of the building, THE STORE PART, was a cool 65-70 degrees at the least. Nice and cool. Then you walk past the doors to get into the range part. IT WAS HOT!!! At first, you are like, WOW, that is a large climate change from one room to another. But you are not thinking about that. You are thinking about getting to your station, putting up your plastic/cardboard thing you cannot shoot over the line and setting up a target and sending it downrange. Then load up a few mags to get ready to put in the work on sighting in a new red dot or just getting back to zero. Or just goofing off and seeing who can come closest to the bullseye. Then after shooting a mag or two, that's when it hits you. IT IS SMOKING HOT IN HERE. **I work in the HVAC industry, So I notice things like this and as I turned around and looked up, they have a huge trunk line of ductwork with vents on the front of it. But if you look closely, most of the vents were closed. I made a statement to an employee and he stated. Nope it's just fine in here. I said no its not. You might need a repair man to come check it if you think it's working. I think this is done on purpose to get you out faster. Makes room for another shooter. I am not sure, but it would make sense. Leave the range go inside to cool off, buy another gadget for your weapon. another target, another hat, another box of ammo. It should be cooler for sure than what it was. For Sure. And if it was broken, don't lie and say it works just fine. Call a professional to come and fix it. I will go back again. I just bought another gun and was having it shipped, So I kind of have to now. But I will give them a second chance for sure. I like the set up. I love the processes. Just room for improvements. That's all. read more

The employees all three of them openly were talk about people negatively. Made homophobic and racist remarks when they thought no one was listening. I overheard them talking about multiple people in the range. What a shame we've spent thousands of dollars here and won't be coming back. read more

Since the new management change/owner I have been very happy. Transfer fees are a bit high, but overall it is a nice range with a good selection of goods and great range pricing. Great place to go practice. My family and I go here a lot. Friendly clean place to shoot that's close to the house. Staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help. read more

Very clean place. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Look forward to a return visit.

First, let me start by saying the place is dirty and dimly lit. The associate that helped us at the counter was the least informative and worst customer service experience. I have had this year. I came back out for the range and had a few questions did not want to speak to the same associates so wound up speaking to the manager, however he confirmed everything that the associate was saying. I thanked them for the help (sarcastic smile). And then googled the nearest gun range from their location. I then found Georgia gun club about 10 minutes away. This was night and day difference and spent well over $2000 on firearms for my wife and myself that I intended to give to trigger time however, because of their lack of customer service. I will never go back. read more

Don't come here... don't waste your time... read the reviews and you'll see a common trend... It took one visit from me and I'll never go again. Customer Service, rude staff talking politics and wanna be military or law enforcement rejects. read more

Had a great time with my family. They have daily deals. The price is right. The ammo is affordable.

Friendly knowledgeable staff - no high pressure sales - fair prices - not too crowded during the week - I would imagine weekends would naturally be pretty crowded - easy sales transaction and let me use the range for free after my purchase - excellent inventory covering all types of pistols, revolvers, rifles and shotguns - they also have many rental guns for their clean sound proof range - I definitely plan on going back read more

The place is fine and the prices are fair, but the staff is what turned me away from this place. Just bad vibes all around.

Trigger Time is a great range and gun store under the new owners. Friendly and knowledgeable staff make it a great place to shoot. Their inventory has increased significantly since the new owners took over also. If you have not been since the new owners took over I would recommend you try them again! Everything you need for all your shooting and firearms needs! read more

The employee was nice target were nice ant the range the gun look nice and scoops and optics

Took a foreign guest who has never touched a gun in his life, due to no opportunity. took a safety course for the first timer. I highly recommend this this short class to increase the safety for all. Jackson did a fantastic job on safety and handling. A good time was had with the G17 and AR 9mm flip up sights for the introductory indoor target shooting. Fun for all. FYI we are minority and I'm from California. (double minority) We brought a good attitude and were treated fantastic. read more

Funny rules, odd staff will cause me to find other places to spend my money. Almost bi-polar customer service. Range rules are unusual, but not enforced unilaterally. Will not return if at all possible. Customer service 101. read more

Nice and clean. Shame the desk staff caught up in their politics, not guns. Too bad. We won't be back. Tell the desk staff that customers are customers, even the Democrat kind. But maybe we don't care about that anymore. Sad it has come to this in business, even the gun business. read more

the guy that runs the front desk with the glasses had a cockey bad attitude.. he told customers that had just walked in if they didn't shut the door going out to the range he was going to yell at them. definitely has the personality that everyone is a dumbass besides him and he knows more about guns and shooting than anybody.. everything else was fine tho read more

Nice local range that has a good selection of firearms to test out and a great staff there to help.

Trigger Time - Gun/Rifle Ranges Near Me - Flowery Branch, Georgia

The place is clean and the gun shop area neat and organized, warnings well posted throughout the place. But the guys behind the counter need to resist talking politics in front of others who they don't know. I was very offended by the one guy's comment concerning women in government. You don't know me and you probably never will. I'm liberal-leaning and strongly support the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution, but in today's political climate don't assume just because a person comes in to shoot their guns and rifles they support the other side. I find disparaging remarks disrespectful to all women, especially the women who are legally elected to their position from their home state. Condescending attitude over time loses customers. You don't need my money so you won't be seeing me or my husband in your establishment. read more

You already have a rating of three and one half stars, compared to all other gun stores in the area that has a four or five star rating. Looks like you are looking to get that down to a two star. Have been in several times and found a very unpleasant attitude from some of the employees. Not sure who the owner is, but if he is the one that shows up about 11:20 to unlock the store and go in to open at 12:00, I guess there is no hope. Very unfriendly and rude. Doing business with gun stores is expensive. Customers can find much more friendly gun stores to give their money to. read more

Trigger Time - Not bad I thought for a first timer. - Gun/Rifle Ranges Near Me - Flowery Branch, Georgia

Not very friendly. Look like he had. Attitude as soon as I walked in. Guess I wasn't the right complexion

I have been going here for quite some time! The staff is Very friendly and it's very well maintained. The ranges are very clean and it's very comfortable not too cold or hot! The setup of the ranges are very easy to get use to. Shooting here has been a pleasure. They also have a big variety of loaners they will let you try. I would suggest bringing your friends because they will also enjoy this range. They have a pretty neat selection on targets as well. read more

I called in to dispute error charges on my receipt from yesterday's visit. I got hung up on after I let the front desk person(Mike) know the issues. I called back and Rick picked up the call. No apologies were given nor help to solve the issues. Felt like it was just a waste of time calling in speaking to a cold, no-customer service person. That was my first and last time at Trigger Time. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

It was my first time to a gun range so not much to compare from. They checked me in and I was able to fire a couple boxes of ammunition from my new S&W. Equipment worked well. I knocked them to a four just because they didn't seem to be enforcing the range rules. There was a guy with a rifle doing rapid fire on the range. It didn't bother me, but why make the rules if you are not going to enforce them? Other than that the people there were great and shooters were friendly. They had an area to "dispose your brass". I'll definitely be back. read more

Great place, clean the gun range also has good distance on the pistol side, as it does on the rifle side.

First let me preface this by saying that I am NOT an amateur shooter, but I have also never owned a shooting range. I have been a shooter for over 30 years and I have put rounds down range at dozens, and dozens of establishments, both indoors, outdoors, and in all parts of the country. Some professional rated facilities, and some not so much so. The reason I am giving this business a poor review is based on my experience in this establishment as a customer. Over the last 20 years or so gun shops and shooting ranges have evolved and begun to focus on customer service and experience, with better training for its industry employees, excellent clubs with premium memberships and discounts, as well as top notch facilities that would allow for a level of fun, while enjoying the sport of "shooting" which, in my opinion, should be a memorable experience rather than a stressful one. Being around guns can, and usually is, stressful for some people, especially first time shooters, and customers who are unfamiliar with firearms but want to take interest in them. The good: This is a nice range that is clean and well kept. The retail side of the range where the firearms, accessories, and other items are, is well organized and neat. The overall condition of the building, and the area that the range is located in is great! All of the lane operations are labeled for easy use, and the ventilation, spacing, and lighting was very good. The bad: While this range is well kept, the staff is not very friendly, or customer service oriented. I was not greeted at the door, or even acknowledged when I first walked in (I was the only customer in the building at the time). Once they took interest in me there was no conversation about whether or not this was my first time shooting, nor was I informed of any rules, policies, or procedures. I was told almost immediately that there was a limit on shooting and that I could not retain my ammunition once I was done shooting (date of my visit was in August 2020 during COVID pandemic and an ammo shortage). I was informed that I could not buy ammo and leave with it....I could not shoot my own ammo, and I was limited to purchase of 1 box of ammunition. For that box I was charged $40 for a caliber that usually runs $11-$15 a box. Once I was done shooting I browsed in the store front for a few moments and the two employees were engaged in very intense mutual sided political conversation with each of them being on two different sides of the store, so it was clear that they either had no issues discussing politics openly, or it was intended that I hear the views of each of these employees. I am a firm believer that discussing politics should be everyone's right, but discussing politics in gun stores should probably be approached with a little more care. After a few minutes browsing the prices and discovering extremely high mark ups, I departed the store and said, "Thanks, nice place!" to which I received no response in the 4 steps it took me to get to the door. Conclusion: I have read some of the positive and negative reviews on this place. I would say that the negative reviews are all pretty accurate based on what I read and how they matched my experience. If you are ok with extremely high prices, and price gouging, and you are ok with open political talk regardless of present customer clientele, as well as very little customer service or an overall perception of a friendly atmosphere...then this place is a good choice. If you are a casual shooter, a first timer, are easily offended by open political conversation that is extreme at times, and one sided, or you are new to the area, I would definitely skip this place. This place embodies a level of old school gun store ownership mentality that causes stress and there are obvious power position perceptions in this place. They simply haven't caught up with the times like so many other shops in the industry. I would advise to spend your money elsewhere as there are several places in and around the Gwinnett County and metro Atlanta area that have a much better atmosphere and a much, much, better all around experience to offer. read more

Absolute horrible customer service. Came in for an FFL pick up, and was an hour past when it actually got delivered and they told me don't come in unless they call me. Maybe I wanted to do some shopping? They're an absolute joke & cant wait for this place to close down or new ownership so we can actually have something decent in the area. read more
