I was excited and I was worried I had built it up in my head to an expectation it could not possibly meet. This experience blew my expectations out of the water and soared straight past them. Phillip Tancrede was my tandem instructor and while I know there is no perfect jump, parachute, parachute packer, plane or instructor Phillip went above and beyond to make me feel like I was in the best hands, I felt safer jumping out of an airplane with Phillip than I do getting in the car with most people. I could not have asked for a better instructor, I am forever grateful to Phillip. In addition to Phillip I had an amazing videographer he caught one of the best moments in my life in the sickest way, he's a sky ninja that i unfortunately can't remember the name of, I have tried to find it because he truly deserves to be recognized but I haven't been successful finding it. Skydiving Monroe did a phenomenal job, a tone has been set in my life. Every day all I can think is I have got to find a way to do it again and again. People who have made the jump know that life can be broken into two separate parts BS (before skydive) also speaks for itself and AS (after skydive). Here fishy fishy fishy…read more.. I am so glad to have found this place and I hope you will take the trip out to enjoy this facility as well. This is a trout hatchery. It rears about 75,000 trouts for the rivers and lakes in Georgia. Try to come on a Saturday, as they have a tour starting at 1pm. The kids loved the tour. This is up and close to the fish and they even get to feed the fish. The fishes goes into a frenzy.. and so do the kids In addition, they have a family fishing pond. Its a small pond and its is stocked with a LOT of fish. A fantastic way to get little ones hooked on fishing. The fish will bite and you will catch a fish very quickly... there was a LOT of squeals of delight when a kid hooks a live one. You can bring your own gear, ( hook#6 , bread + hotdogs) or use their free loaner poles. The area is well shaded, with benches and picnic tables. Truly awesome for the little ones.. you can hook a fish in 15-20 mins..

Doug the instructor guided and helped my 14 year old son get his open water certification after my son discovered scuba diving while we were on vacation in Cozumel and dove there for the first time. Caleb said his instruction was thorough and smooth and he enjoyed the entire process of classroom and pool dives. Doug and Dive Educators helped us complete the certification by allowing my son to do his 4 open water dives while on vacation in Aruba which was very convenient for our needs. We are excited because now my son can dive with me whenever we travel and plan on doing the scuba experience at Georgia aquarium. I was super nervous starting out, but he was patient, never rushed anything, and even took the time to show extra tips that helped a lot once I got out of the pool. It felt more like learning from a friend than a strict instructor. I did my OW and AOW dives with Howard, and he was great as well. During my OW weekend, I was still struggling a bit with buoyancy, and he didn't have to, but he even did an extra dive with me to work on PPB just so I could feel more confident. My first time in the ocean was with him too, and he always took the time to teach beyond the bare minimum. Shoutout to Stefan and James, who were also on some of my dives -- super helpful with little tips along the way. I started off nervous about diving and ended up with a new hobby and some new dive buddies. Highly recommend Dive Educators -- they genuinely care.

And they were such great hosts. I met a couple board members and they were very gracious. The view is outstanding from the point. Camping is encouraged and they have lots of room. Their club house if fantastic with an open floor plan, gigantic working fireplace, clean restrooms, and large screen TV that was very important on the day we were there. Football was on all day so between races(and sometimes during) we were able to keep up with out favorite games! I look forward to being there next year!

Lots of unusual junked out shacks in disrepair, next door to the isolated nice residence. I wondered if slip fees subsidised the junky hoarders that seem to abound there. Sad to see such a nice property being run down. Loads of junk boats, rusting metal scraps, and acres of poison ivy. No thanks. Would NOT consider letting our son go to the summer camp they sublet out to. Definitely get a tetanus shot prior to a visit.

They're very good about monitoring the cleanliness of the water and have closed down if there was any contamination. It's easy to check in and lots of options every day for either swimming laps or doing a class. All the instructors are pleasant and work with any type of limitations.

I swam for Swim Atlanta all the way thru high school so I was partial to having my daughter swim…read morethere. She loves to swim and has had fantastic coaches during summer league. The people who work in the office at swim Atlanta Hamilton mill are as nice as can be. I was absolutely stunned at the bad attitude that one of the swim coaches had. Her name is Patricia. She made it obvious that she was mad that my daughter started her class after they had already had 2 classes. She couldn't get over that the front office didn't have her name on her list of kids for her class. She was looking at the paper and throwing it down, pacing, her hand gestures obviously showed frustration ( even while talking to my 9 yr old daughter). She singled my daughter out and made her feel unwanted. She was so grumpy and agitated, no patience. My daughter wasn't even able to finish practice bc she made her feel so bad that she was in tears saying she wanted to leave. Shame on coach Patricia for making a sweet, excited little girl question her love for swimming. Only then, when she saw my daughter crying and Us go in the office did she come in say come on Addie you were doing good, what's wrong? I couldn't believe she had the audacity to come say a single word to my daughter while she was crying bc of her actions!! This lady will single handedly make them lose business no doubt about it. She should NOT be working with children AT ALL!!
