Great dive shop. The staff is great and it's a one stop shop with a pool for all the training you need before going out in the open water.

They have a variety of ongoing advanced classes AND amazing dive trips all around the world that I can't wait to join. This weekend I finished up a 10+ year goal of taking the open water diving certification and I couldn't have picked a better location. I bought a remarkably priced package they offer combining the course and equipment (fins, boots, snorkel, and mask). They also rent out gear for dive trips so you can have what you need without having to buy and dive with equipment you're familiar with. The pool for your class is huge. 1-2 lanes are about 10' deep and about 15 lanes are 4' deep. The instructors will start out in the 4' deep lanes and go over basics underwater so you're super comfortable. Then you'll have ample time in the 10' end so your confidence is built. It's shared with "Swim Atlanta" and conveniently located on the backside with their own shop connected to the large pool area. They are SSI and compatible with thousands of dive shops around the world. They can do "referrals" for your 4 checkout dives through another shop (you'll have to pay the other shop for the dives but you won't have to take the classroom, exam, and pool diving skills) OR you can preferably do your checkout dives with Dive Dive Dive on one of their trips. Enjoy it! You won't regret it.

Doug the instructor guided and helped my 14 year old son get his open water certification after my son discovered scuba diving while we were on vacation in Cozumel and dove there for the first time. Caleb said his instruction was thorough and smooth and he enjoyed the entire process of classroom and pool dives. Doug and Dive Educators helped us complete the certification by allowing my son to do his 4 open water dives while on vacation in Aruba which was very convenient for our needs. We are excited because now my son can dive with me whenever we travel and plan on doing the scuba experience at Georgia aquarium. Much thanks to Doug and Dive Educators for helping my son achieve Open Water certification! 5 solid Stars and two thumbs up!

I was super nervous starting out, but he was patient, never rushed anything, and even took the time to show extra tips that helped a lot once I got out of the pool. It felt more like learning from a friend than a strict instructor. I did my OW and AOW dives with Howard, and he was great as well. During my OW weekend, I was still struggling a bit with buoyancy, and he didn't have to, but he even did an extra dive with me to work on PPB just so I could feel more confident. My first time in the ocean was with him too, and he always took the time to teach beyond the bare minimum. Shoutout to Stefan and James, who were also on some of my dives -- super helpful with little tips along the way. I started off nervous about diving and ended up with a new hobby and some new dive buddies. Highly recommend Dive Educators -- they genuinely care.

SO GLAD we took a chance. It's a one-man operation, and he's incredible. His prices are all in, and he really does knock it out in just 2 days with great flexible local dives near the High Springs area. If you have a special request, just call him - he was able to add our NitrOx cert as well on the fly. I was blown away watching this man transition from charismatic comedy, making learning fun but still hitting all the key points, right into suddenly supportive teacher mode when we were in the practical portions and he was helping a student who was struggling, using a disarming compassionate demeanor. At least in our session, class sizes were very small, and he not only equipped us mentally for our scuba expeditions, but he gave us incredible insight and recommendations beyond the certification on what kind of gear to look for, good habits, inside tips for the industry. Just 11/10. He also does have gear available for sale, customized to the diver, which is I assume how he keeps his prices so low, but he wasn't pushy at all and advised us for what we NEEDED not what he sold. I was actively trying to buy gear from him, and he advised me that I might need something special and that also some other websites unrelated to him are having a pretty good sale right now so he chose our equipment and savings over his own revenue. Just couldn't be more impressed. (Also, if you come down here for just the class from out of town, I highly recommend the "getaway" tiny home cabins nearby for lodging. They're clean, super cheap, nice close by, and easy. Including two nights lodging, you could get your scuba cert here for like a thousand or $1,200 cheaper than you can in most major cities.

The Dive Shop, from the COO down, exemplifies the most disappointing and unprofessional trends in…read morethe dive industry. The upside for the owner and shop is that it appears they have so many customers they have zero obligation or motivation to care or fulfill promises. -- I spoke with the owner, Randy Wright, about six advanced courses I planned to complete. Randy said he was just on a call with the Director of SSI Training, who Randy would call back. Randy stated he would get answers to my questions and "call me right back." Five days and counting, no call back. -- Online, a week in advance, I scheduled and paid for an Advanced Wreck course. The day prior to the course I called to inquire if it was only going to be classroom of if we would be in the pool as well. The employee informed me that no instructor was available and the class would not be held. No one was planning to call and warn me before my one-hour drive to the shop and there was no offer of a refund! -- I've experienced the same lack of service is at both the Memphis and Marietta shops -- which seems to reflect the experience I had with the owner. If I blew off clients and did not keep promises, I wouldn't have a business left. So good on The Dive Shop for creating a model where me as a customer is undeserving of promised service. The only one professional in the shop is Lisa Collins so if you have to go to The Dive Shop, see her.

I have taken multiple training courses from a number of shops/instructors. Dive Georgia is among…read morethe best I have encountered. First, if you are shopping by price, find another sport. Dive Georgia is not unusually expensive -pretty typical - but you want to avoid shops that have found a way to make the product cheaper. I would use two words to describe the training experiences I have had through Dive Georgia: Challenging and Supportive. There are plenty of dive shops who simply want to get you through the course so they can take your money. They don't really care how much you learn along the way. That is not Dive Georgia. They seem to be very conscientious about the fact that they are training you for a sport that needs a certain level of proficiency for you to be safe and for you to enjoy yourself. More than any dive shop I have ever gone diving with, they are committed to making sure you receive that level of training. I recently completed the NAUI Master Diver with them. It was challenging, fun, and a wonderful learning experience. Are they perfect? No, but their shortcomings are not really related to the training. My chief complaint is about pre-class communication, which is sometimes a little last minute, and sometimes assuming you know things about needed equipment that you don't know. I spoke to someone on the phone and signed up for a class. I wasn't told there were any prerequisites, then was called and asked to send in proof of my needed prerequisite. So, I had to quickly sign up for a class, to meet the requirements. I wish this had been mentioned up front - but, in the scheme of things, pretty minor. I have had good interactions with everyone, but if you are looking for a great first contact point, ask for Emily. She is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable!

For the two cheap towels. I would not recommend this place if business.
