Valerie and David were super awesome. We played pool and darts and had a great time. Drinks were good and overall not overpriced.

Service was trash I was a recurring customer daily just for wings late night. It got to the point where I would go in and not have to create a tab etc due to the fact that I am a stellar customer and always pay and leave a decent tip. Today I went in for wing and a new person carded me which there is nothing wrong with that but she made it to where I was kicked out when the other bar tenders just saw me in there a day prior to today and didn't card me just smile and said your usual?! So I was kicked out because I had sent to get my id but asked for a different bartender due to the fact she was offended because I refused her as my server. And I brought the fact up that when I came in the last time they served a 20 year old and did not card her for it but pressed an issue with me and I did not appreciate it! I will never spend my money here they are rude for no reason and talk to you any kind of way for no reason I'll rather go where their is good community service and nice workers!! I like this place but website should be updated to not cause any confusion. Website states free pool from 10-close on Tuesdays, came on a Tuesday around 11:30 pm and was charged for a pool table still. Website also states 50% off pool with school ID for students Monday- Thursday from 11pm- close but when I asked about student discount the lady working stated that it doesn't apply on weekdays. read more

We had a blast coming here on Sunday. Drink specials and free pool until 8 o'clock! The bartender, Kathy, was super helpful when it came to helping me pick out a drink. She recommended the vodka mule and it was awesome! I'm looking for those on my next grocery run for sure. The food was what you'd expect- all fried finger food. Fine with me! We got some fries, mozzarella sticks, and chicken fingers. It was all good and they gave you lots of sauces to dip in. They have 8 foot and 9 foot tables as well as darts. They do let people smoke inside. There wasn't a lot of people there when I was there and it stilled smelled of cigarette smoke- hence the one star deduction. In my opinion this is definitely more of a dive bar with a few pool tables. This is by no means an insult, just a mere statement and honestly my only impressions of this place are for when I've accompanied friends here and none of us really play pool. I just had one friend who likes that he could smoke inside I did not have to walk outside every time you wanted to smoke a cigarette, so this was his bar of choice. Servers are friendly and I never had an issue in here. It is easy to miss since it is in a strip mall located on University. Friends have told me they have the usual pool tournaments here oh, so if pool is your thing, come check it out. read more

Pretty okay pool hall. Its huge, so that's a plus, and they have several things you can do there besides pool. We noticed they have tournament some days, darts, and typical bar games like hunt some deer lol. It was VERY crowded and not one table was available. The bar seemed great, with a large selection of drinks and it wasn't smoky or dark like most pool halls/bars. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because we wandered around it for 10 mins without anyone asking us if we needed help/were new there, and if it was a tournament night it would've been nice to have a sign posted somewhere so you didn't just walk in and expect to play pool. read more

I used to come here weekly when I lived on that side of town. I've been in Seminole county for quite a few years now though so I rarely make it down this way. It's is mostly the same but a few differences. They have 3 less dart boards (but still have a good half dozen) and now it's non smoking. What I found interesting is that they had 3 people working but there is zero table service, you have to go to the bar to get your drinks (and this did not ever seem to be a quick process even if you were the only one ordering). Not a bad experience but customer service could use a bit of tightening up for sure. read more

When Corner Pocket went down, I had to find another pool hall to fill the void it left within my heart. Then in comes Tricks Shots, walking into my life.. Being in the Hospitality field, I prefer places where you can relax and joke around with the staff. No matter how grand or pristine a business portrays, if it's run by incompetent employees with no sense of customer service, it's doomed to failure. When I first starting going here, it only took a handful of visits before the staff knew me by name. Trick Shots has a full liquor bar, tables which are well-kept including four 9-foot tables, dart boards, numerous flat screens to catch up on games, and pitchers of beer, beer, and beer. The only slight downside is that It can sometimes get smokey when the pool hall fills up, so be sure to bring some cologne/perfume and perhaps a change of clothes if you plan to go out after! I enjoy this Trick Shots. Its roomy, clean, prices are fair and the staff is nice. The lighting is good, its not too bright or dark. They have darts and card tables for those who don't like to only play pool. Even though you can smoke inside, its not overly smokey, like other places in town. I've never eaten here, but they do offer food. The music varies, but its the touch tunes so if you throw in enough money you can play what you like. The only downfall would be the parking on a busy night. A few places next to Trick Shots will also get busy and you could be fighting over a spot that isn't one so far away. Other than that, I've enjoyed my visits and gladly go back as a regular. read more

We go to this Trick Shots once every couple months to meet friends for darts. I have to say, the service not the best. After several visits we finally gave up on ever getting service at our table, and now we just go to the bar for drinks. I am used to another Trick Shots location where the servers pass by to check on you regularly. This doesn't happen here. Well, at least not for us. But overall, it's a decent place. Drinks are pretty good and not too pricey. The dart machines all work, which is a plus. And we love playing songs and bypassing all of the country music in the queue, well worth the money. There is usually a decent crowd on Saturday nights when we go in, but it's not too crowded, you can easily get a seat at the bar. read more

It might not be "as good as it gets" but it is the best I have seen in my 28 years of living. The pool tables are not crowded, you aren't constantly butt to butt with players from other tables, and the staff is very attentive. My biggest complaint is the fact that smoking is allowed inside, and even worse, people smoke while food is served. I hate spending an hour fixing my hair only to have it reek of cigarettes after playing pool. If you are a smoker, consider this a 5 star rating. read more

Every night has a different drink special--Monday night hospitality specials and poker on Saturdays just to name a few. Trick Shots is an upscale pool hall modeled after Clicks. There's plenty of tables which are kept clean and well maintained. Tables are charged by the hour and there are servers during evening hours. Been here a few times - it's "ok". I've found most of the staff to be pretty friendly. Pool area is nice with plenty of space. Selection of music is again, "ok", but that really depends on the person of course. I didn't notice a lot of people ordering food but they were surprisingly excellent!! Deli sandwiches or whatever were good, as well as the wings. I have to be honest and I didn't think I would say this about a bar like this but probably one of the best wings I've had? Crowd seems to be late 20s and all the way up to.... old. I've noticed that maybe younger crowd goes to the Devaney's next door, but that's just a quick observation. read more

I've been to the other trick shots and they are great but we decided to try a different location. We were playing pool and drinking beer when we saw a cockroach on the floor. I thought it was pretty gross, especially since they serve food there. Not sure what kind of kitchen they got, but I almost feel like I should call the food inspector or something. I told one of the waitresses and she said that they had been having problems with that! I was astounded that they were aware of this and didn't even care to still give food to people. If you would have asked me three weeks ago I would not recommend this place if you are a female, However, I was there last night and had a great time.
