I went from pitch black hair to a brown balayage and my hair feels so soft and is so much healthier now. Shoutout to Kaitlin (sorry if I spelled her name wrong) who washed my hair. She made sure the water was a good temperature and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She has the hands of a Goddess, the head massage while she was washing my hair almost put me to sleep! I'm on the search for a new salon after my stylist moved away after 12 years. I saw great reviews for Chris and decided to make an appointment and was ecstatic when they had one for the same day. I wish they didn't. I showed up and waited 30 minutes for him to complete his previous appointment. He even tried to hand me off to a different stylist. My entire haircut and blow out took MAX 20 minutes. Little did I know that his next appointment had shown up and was a regular so I was being rushed out of the chair. My hair looks horrible and the layers are truly horrible because he took approximately 5 minutes to cut it and didn't see the way my hair naturally curls. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS SALON IF YOU'RE NOT A REGULAR!!!!! Complete waste of 65$. read more

This salon used to be Beauty Salons of America. New ownership but the staff and stylists are the same. I have been coming here since everyone worked in the salon in Macy's upstairs. They offer a 20% discount for baptist employees. Everyone here does an amazing job. I always come to see Bendra who has been doing my hair for years. 10/10 recommend Jessica ! These are the before & after pictures of my hair. Long story short, I went to a cheap salon (take in note I have naturally curly hair) that left bleach in my hair for over 4 hours leaving my hair chemically burnt & orange !!!! They did not tone my hair or attempt to fix the color. Doing your research is very important when getting your hair done something I learned the hard way. I waited a week after getting my hair done for it to recover before attempting to fix the color. A week of crying everyday, before I found Jessica. Jessica immediately analyzed my hair & created a plan to bring my hair back to life. We toned my hair to a brown & then decided to take a few months before bleaching it to fix the color. This was an essential part to the restoration of my hair, as in those months we did multiple deep treatments to condition my hair & cut it multiple times to promote hair growth. Finally, after being patient for months we decided it that my hair had regained enough strength to be able to correct the color. Jessica brought the vision to life , she gave me EXACTLY what I wanted & never compromised my hair's health. The last picture was the final product & it brought me to tears. She is the best one I've done my hair with so far in Miami, and trust me by being a brunet (very dark natural hair) trying to be a blonde ain't easy! My color looks amazing now everybody noticed! If you get your hair cute here be sure you are vocal and adamant about managing every detail to get your desired outcome. The total for a cut, blow dry and curls (that took 2 minute and lasted 1) was $100. This was my first and last time going to Tricho Salon... After looking forward to an 11 am appointment with Bendra for a week, I showed up to the salon-- in a time crunch-- to get my hair cut and blow dried. At 11:20 they finally set me up to cut my hair, only to realize that it was not Bendra but another hair dresser. After this mix up, they notified us that Bendra didn't have anything available that day but they could try to squeeze me in at 12 pm-- despite having called me to confirm my 11 am appt with Bendra 3 different times throughout the week, including the morning of the appointment! We showed up to the salon again at 12 pm only to wait again until 12:30 pm when finally I was sent to wash my hair with Bendra. Like I always do, I showed her a photo of the hair cut (not color) that I aspired to get-- basically just needed to trim a "few" strands of hair closest to my face. What I got were uneven, 5-inch wide chopped strands of hair on both sides of my face that I will now attempt to hide in a cap until it grows out. The picture, plus my verbal instructions were simple to understand, so not sure what went wrong or if she was just in too much of a rush and point-blank messed up... The picture was shown to her multiple times throughout the visit, and I received confirmation that she understood the look I was going for. Extremely disappointed. Pictures below. read more

My first visit at this salon, Stephanie cut my hair and I think she was good but on my second visit She was busy so I was assigned to Alley for hair color. I told her that I want ash brown and She agreed - My hair turned out BLACK and while she's drying it I ask her why and she told me She never used black and She's trying to convinced me that its the lighting that makes it dark.
