This is SO convenient to those who work weird hours. I feel it also works with the business because they don't have to be answering the phone constantly. I initially booked an appointment to have a consultation which was free of charge. I showed up and was greeted immediately by name. They knew me from my appointment which was impressive. I then met Ashley. So sweet and thorough. She gave me an estimate on how much my hair was going to be. She asked me what I really wanted for my hair in my dream world. I told her and she told me she would try and make it happen. I returned about two weeks later to finally get it done. WOW WOW WOW. It took many hours to achieve what I wanted but it happened. Screenshot…read moreis attached I was shocked at my hair trauma experience as well as inappropriate and disgusting behavior by the staff. Especially after the reviews I saw online. I had scheduled an appointment with Miguel to get JUST a partial highlight, as I informed him I have K tip extensions that I get taken care of elsewhere for years. The whole appointment Miguel is asking me to go on dates and telling me he could just do my hair at my house next time. That behavior was actually the least of my concerns. When my hair was done, I left the salon with normal highlight touch up, at least I thought. My hair looked slightly thin but I didn't think much of it since it was styled. The next day my 25 inch extensions had zero volume, and the beach waves were completely gone. I texted Miguel the next day asking him if he put a hair masque on my extensions and he told me "yes I put a conditioning mask and didn't charge you". I have NEVER had any extension problems before because I know as a client, not to use this type of treatment on k tips. For the Slovak K Tip extensions I have, they are very very thick and volumous and conditioning treatments thin and ruin them. I was NEVER asked about the mask and never gave consent for this. I was not even being told that I was getting a treatment put into my hair. When I called the salon to speak with the "manager" Angie, I told her what happened, asking for a resolution to my $3100 extensions that were ruined. She interrupted me several times saying "are you done talking yet" then hung up on me out of her anger for not understanding how expensive my extensions are. It has been only 5 days since this appointment and I have now had 7 -K tip extensions come out of my head as well. The reviews on here are great for when they actually do their job, but the unprofessional approach and lack of accountability and to make things right, is where this salon lacks their true credibility. I would say solely after this type of interaction, their licenses are at risk. UPDATE: it has been 12 days after my appointment and I have lost a total of 15 extensions from my hair, in the last 12 days. I have spent the last 2 years growing my hair out, doing scalp oil treatments, microneedling, hair treatments, no heat, no blow drying, filtered shower water, you name it. TWO YEARS OF DEDICATION!! Then you come along & in less than 24 hours you manage to absolutely detroy everything I've worked so hard on for the past 2 years. You lied to me over & over & over again during the Premiere Beauty Show. I asked you several times about the integrity of my hair & if my hair could handle the multiple processes you were doing. You assured me my hair was still healthy & nothing was wrong. Those were all lies but I think you knew that already. I have been crying every single day since the hair show. I can't look in the mirror. I don't want to even touch my hair because it feels like a brillo pad. My hair is BREAKING OFF AT THE SCALP. So, let's go through the chain of events. You put bleach on my hair for well over an HOUR with zero cares about the wellbeing of my hair or my scalp. You then dye my roots & tone the rest of my hair. At that point my hair should of been left alone but NOO you decide to have someone else who had no idea about the correct formulas put more color on my roots. You shouted across a crowded room expecting your ASSISTANT to hear you & make the correct formula. The color started to burn my scalp due to the over processsing. Then YOU decided to slap MORE BLEACH on already compromised hair & leave that on for 15 more mins when honestly all you needed was a clear with 10vol or 20vol to lift but YOU chose bleach the most damaging, but I digress. Then you added more toner & used non stop heat on it. Once I got home & saw the damage I was absolutely horrified to the point of severe depression & not eating for several days. Over the past month, my hair, no matter how delicate I am, is breaking off at the scalp. The entire front of my hair is orange and broken off at the scalp. I had burns on my scalp, ears and back of my neck. Your negligence severly injured me not only physically but mentally as well. Not to mention my agency is LIVID after what you all did to my hair. I'm a signed model with two different agencies that I can no longer work with until my hair grows out which will take a minimum of 7 months to two years and it's hair show season! I've already lost out in $10,000 worth of bookings. You were reckless, careless & aggressive with my hair, scalp, head & neck. Don't even get me started on the fact that it's summer in Florida & I can't even go to the pool because of the chlorine and my hair. What you did has severly negativity impacted my life. Who does this to someone? Like, honestly? What were you thinking? This isn't 2010 you can't destroy someone's entire head of hair that they use to make a living with and just run off to Miami like nothing ever happened. The internet and social media exist now. You out of all people should know once you damage someone's hair to this extent it's extremely possible that my hair will never grow back the same as it was. The beautiful wavey natural texture to my hair is now gone and it's very possible that it will never come back now. I have nightmares about what happened & I don't want anyone to touch me ever again. Which means I don't even know how to think about fixing this because I don't trust a single soul to touch me ever again. My hair needs a full blown color correction because of you which I can not afford. Oh & the hack job of a hair cut is the icing on the cake. You should lose your hair license. To be honest if I have anything to do with it that's exactly what's going to happen to you. I hope it was worth it. I have an AirTouch technique in my hair, and since the salon does not offer AirTouch services, I wanted to confirm in advance that we could achieve a similar look using balayage or highlights. I was assured we could proceed. At the appointment, I waited a bit (which I understand happens in Miami). Once seated, the stylist examined my hair carefully and suggested doing a half head of highlights first to see how my fine, chemically damaged hair would react. I appreciated the caution and explained my previous negative experience with another stylist. When I left the salon, I was happy. The result wasn't identical to my inspiration photos, but I felt good about it. However, after washing my hair once, I noticed obvious orange foil spots and poorly blended areas near my ears. I immediately contacted the salon, and to their credit, they accommodated me the next day for a correction. Unfortunately, the solution offered was to darken my roots to cover the orange spots. This left me questioning why I paid $450 to lighten my roots, only to have them darkened again. Now, just a little over two weeks later, my hair already looks grown out because of the darker roots. For the price point and reputation of this salon, I expected better execution and a longer-lasting result. I truly wanted to love the experience, but overall, I'm very disappointed.

When I got home and tried to style it...I was very upset to find I had to pin it up for 2 weeks until it grew out. The worst part was going to pay and the same lady who freaked about me waiting mischarged me 20 dollars. She then fumbled around not knowing what to do or apologizing and finally refunded me. It's small and very basic, probably only six or eight chairs. When I went (on a weekday afternoon) I was the only customer for most of my visit. Each of the three staff members there were very friendly-- and best of all, weren't awkwardly forcing the conversation. I get the impression it's a relatively young crew (my stylist was 22), but she did a better job than people I've gone to with 25 years of experience under their belts! I'm usually turned off by places whose websites aren't that attractive, but this place is a good find. At $95 for a full head of highlights, it's also the most affordable place I've found that isn't super sketchy. My only complaint: you can't add tip to your bill... not even before it's all rung up. I find that to be a major flaw because I never have cash. There is an ATM across the street (I think it's Chase Bank), but that's definitely a pain.
