Came here for a quick but necessary coffee/tea stop. They are very friendly and quick. The inside is very cute and they had lots of beautiful art for sale. I got an iced matcha with lavender which was good. They have paper straws that held up well while I had my drink and industrially compostable iced drink cups. I have no idea if there is an industrial compost facility in Gunnison but I I'll bring mine to the one near me. read more

Yummy vegan breakfast burrito with black beans, kale, sweet potatoes and quinoa. Super tasty. Breakfast biscuit egg sandwich was also good. Biscuit was super fluffy which made a great vessel for the eggs, cheese and ham. Coffees are also good. They make their own homemade syrups, which is such a nice treat. read more

Good aesthetics. Stopped in on our way home from camping because I had the maple pecan scone a few years ago and had to see if they still had it. They did and it's still amazing. We stopped here on our way home from Crested Butte on a Sunday AM and it was absolutely packed with a line almost out the door. The staff was super friendly and prices seemed pretty reasonable. Dropped by for a quick caffeine fix for my husband (cold brew), while I ordered an iced chai latte. The service was extremely quick for our orders and people seemed friendly. It wasn't too crowded and seemed like a nice place to get some work done. My husband enjoyed his cold brew, he said it had more flavor than some of the other ones he's had. There was a line to get it, but that typically means it's worth it, and it definitely was! Kind staff who even let us sample the kombucha of the moment -- just get it if you're a kombucha person. Simple small dishes, tasty fancy coffee, reasonable efficiency and a fun little part of town. There isn't a ton for me to say since this was just a quick coffee and light snack stop. We spent a few nights in Gunnison between Christmas and New Year's to ski Monarch Mountain. This is my new favorite Gunnison coffee shop! We stopped all three mornings on the way up to Monarch. I'm pretty particular about my espresso beans / drinks and Tributary did a perfect job with my cappuccino three days in a row. My husband used to own a coffee shop in Winter Park, CO and has similar rave reviews for his taste coffee each day. We also had the opportunity to try their grab and go turkey sandwich, GF ham/swiss quiche and sausage burrito...all were fantastic! The burrito is huge and made two breakfasts for us. We look forward to our next visit to Gunnison and Tributary Coffee. In the meantime, I will enjoy the beans I brought home to use in my Moka Pot! THANK YOU! read more

The service and the breakfast burrito were SO GOOD!!!! But the dirty chai just wasn't it. Needs more spice flavors that go good with their espresso, it just tasted like they clashed but I'm sure the chai and lattes alone are delicious!!! The only thing that was took away from the experience was the bees on the outside patio but I mean it was the season!!! Lol read more

I visited Tributary three times during Ride the Rockies. Two mornings during the event and a third time heading out of town. Tributary is a great new coffee shop in Gunnison. The food and coffee was perfect. They also were jamming despite having been overrun by hungry fueling riders. They even opened earlier during Ride the Rockies to be able to handle the crush. They did extremely well. We will be back! read more

What a friendly, wonderful coffee shop! Travis at the counter was so welcoming with his big smile and energizing yet soothing energy. He thoughtfully picked a non-dairy milk option for my drink and remembered the following customer's complex "usual." The Dinosaur expressed doubt about the oat milk that went into my Golden Milk (try it - it's indeed a beautiful golden color, wonderfully spicy, and just a touch sweet - a good less-sweet, caffeine-free alternative to chai). A minute after my drink was done, a shot glass of extra oat milk appeared on the bar for the Dinosaur to sample. This attention to detail and making sure everyone was served as well as possible really added to the welcoming atmosphere. Hot drinks are served in mugs with a saucer. Cold drinks are in glasses with a paper straw. A customer concerned about the sweetness of her mocha learned that the chocolate syrup is made in-house with less sugar than is found in commercial syrups. Another customer was advised on which non-dairy option would pair best with her coffee. The space is high-ceilinged and well-lit, the music relaxing and unobtrusive, and there is a thoughtful variety of seating options: tables, bar stools, comfy chairs around a coffee table. Electric outlets abound. People were working on laptops, reading, chatting with friends, and, in my case, knitting the rainy day away. The Dinosaur was not sold on oat milk as I was, but he did enjoy his tall glass of cold brew. read more

Passing through Gunnison and was very delighted to find this modern coffee house with 3rd wavish coffee drinks. I ordered a cappuccino and their default was a 6 oz cup served dry. Very smooth. I would expect this kind of a modern coffee house in Denver, Boulder or Aspen but definitely wasn't expecting this in Gunnison. Awesome coffee and very friendly service. Can this place be closer? After sitting in construction traffic for 45 mins with a little more to go on our drive, we stopped by this adorable cafe in such a kind town. My husband and I both enjoyed our drinks and the coffee was absolutely amazing. Not sure if it was because we had mediocre coffee in the morning, but this was such an delicious pick-me-up. I got the iced lavender latte and my husband got a mocha latte. If ever back in town, we'll hang out here a bit longer and make it a stop. I regret not buying the bags of coffee there! Delicious and fast! Great combo for a coffee house! We had an iced vanilla latte and a hot mocha, a breakfast burrito and a biscuit sandwich. Everything was the right temperature and very flavorful! My husband said that it was the best breakfast burrito from a coffee shop that he has ever had. Great atmosphere too..... woodsie-chic! First day, I got a salted caramel latte (4 shots total) SO GOOD, and the next I got the maple one, pretty tasty but I like the caramel better. We got a side of breakfast sausage that was only like 5 or 6 bucks. They came out with 4 massive juicy sausages!!! What the heck. Such a good deal. I was expecting like two tiny basic sausages in this economy. Can't wait to stay at this hotel again and make use of this dope cafe.

Would highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for a warm cozy spot to get some work done and not worry about being overcrowded. Drip coffee left a lot to be desired (to put it politely) but we were more concerned with having a great atmosphere so we didn't mind.
