I found the 6x12 single axle trailer I wanted online and called to check its availability. The trailer was available, so I visited their Glendale location. Upon arrival, I spoke with Jares, who was extremely busy as the only salesman working that day. Despite his workload, Jares took the time to acknowledge me, welcome me, and assure me he would assist me as soon as possible. While waiting, several employees from different departments introduced themselves and offered assistance. Everyone was pleasant, and we had some engaging conversations about the trailer. When Jares was ready, the buying process was incredibly smooth. He demonstrated excellent knowledge of the business and made helpful recommendations for accessories I had overlooked. The price listed online was honored without any of the typical "salesman" tactics I have experienced elsewhere. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Sealant on much of the coach was still cracked, not waterproof and coach exterior was washed (but roof was not cleaned, solar was filthy). There were still some interior issues as well, but now they said the $2k was only for "Safety-related" repairs. Got it home and found that the top half of the window in the main access door was detached. I checked online and found the coach was a NHTSA federal recall for the window along with a "do not sell" order because that window can (and apparently has) blown out at speed on roadways, potentially causing injury to other drivers. Well, they sold the coach to us anyway without even making it roadworthy nor disclosing the recall. As to whether it really was a consignment at all, I could not say. I never saw anyone's name on paperwork other that Sun City RV.

I'm writing this to warn any mechanics thinking about working at Superstition Truck & Trailer. What…read morethey don't tell you upfront is that you're basically working for Otto Trucking, which owns the entire fleet. The owner runs both companies, and Superstition is tied to Otto. Here's what you should know about what I witnessed before accepting a job here: * I witnessed the owner try to charge his own mechanics for mistakes that weren't their fault. * He's openly said he doesn't care about his workers and will just keep hiring more mechanics. * No new parts, new parts a RARE. The majority of everything is reused or pulled off junk trucks. They encourage unsafe practices. Most of their fleet would fail a DOT inspection. Since these are aggregate trucks their standards are much lower. * There are no repair manuals, no diagnostic tools, no truck history, and no structure for doing proper diagnostics or repairs. Fault codes are regularly looked up on google and forums. Backyard mechanic type deal. * If they feel like you're not working hard enough, they'll drop your pay to minimum wage. * If you leave within 90 days, your check will be minimum wage minus $250. Leave without notice? That's another $250 deduction. My final paycheck was $500 after a 40hr week. As a EXPERIENCED mechanic. Didn't feel like even wasting any more of my time there so I just took the hit. And found somewhere better. * Worst of all: You won't get paid on time. It's not just occasional, paychecks are regularly late by days or even weeks. This shop has no compassion, no professionalism, and no respect for its workers. It's the most exploitative workplace I've ever seen in this industry! They will squeeze everything out of their workers. Down to the penny. Soon they'll be hiring prisoners for cheap labor. Do yourself a favor and check the reviews under Otto Trucking. They're full of the same experiences. I wish I had looked before I took the job.

Last one was an AGM and ran almost 10 years. I have a couple of vehicles which include a motorcycle and RV and I do pay a lot of attention to my batteries; keep them fully charged with a charging tender and a couple times a year, run a desulfation cycle.
