I used IM because they had installed other window treatments in a residence I purchased. In retrospect, I should have used the Shade Store where I have had a good experience in the past. Ultimately, the window treatments were fine, but the process was quite unpleasant. Feedback to Shivani: If selling shades is beneath you, perhaps you are in the wrong business. When you weren't MIA, you were uncommunicative, curt, and unconcerned.

The staff was accessible, good with follow through, funny, and very helpful: when they came to do the closet measurements they also helped us with a temporary fix after one of the closet racks from when we moved in had collapsed. The staff person gave us good details on how to maximize space in two crowded closets and led us to have much better organization in our new home. The scheduled installation day took a few weeks before actual installation due to it being a busy season. Still, the closets were completed a couple of weeks earlier than Interior Motif's initial time estimate, which made us happy. We will return here for future closet work and recommend it for others.

I've gotten a lot of gems here over the years and many gifts for my friends and family with green thumbs as well. Some of my favorites have been the pancake plant that is now 3x the size it was on the day I brought it home, this cool succulent that I have lovingly nicknamed the alien guy, a baby monstera and a cactus that hasn't grown an inch in 2 years, but hasn't died, so that is a win. On my last visit, I got a few leafy plants hanging plants as a gift for someone and when I was checking out I noticed they had those greeting cards that are made with seeds! I thought it was a pretty perfect pair to a gifted plant. The owners and the team working there are always friendly and helpful and answer all of my care questions. They recently added a bunch of pots, propagating vases and plant accessories. They also have fresh cut flowers and can make you arrangements. I haven't done this yet, but my friend that lives in Hoboken gets an arrangement from them every few weeks and they are always so beautiful. It's always such a treat stopping in here!

If the workload is overwhelming, perhaps it's time to reconsider how the business is managed during peak periods. Losing one's temper with a customer is inexcusable.

It pains me to have to write a negative review about another entrepreneur. I sincerely hope D&G…read moreInteriors addresses the problem so that I can update this review. D&G was hired to stage our home for sale. They and the realtors suggested we refinish the floors in the home before putting it on the market, which we agreed to do and received a bill from D&G for the floor resurfacing which we paid. D&G then moved furnishing into the home. We noticed some minor scratches on the brand new floors after the furnishing were moved in but let it go. When it came time to move the furnishings out, I asked that we be notified what day and time D&G would be moving out the furnishings so that we could ensure there was no further damage, but was not given a time. D&G entered my home without authorisation and significantly damaged the newly finished floors (see pics attached) while moving out the furnishings. I have made multiple calls to D&G attempting to have this resolved, but have yet to be connected with someone who is able to resolve the matter. I've been told these individuals are traveling. In the meantime, we are waiting to have the floors fixed before moving furniture into the home. I will update this review if someone from D&G calls me back and offers an amicable solution. I'm someone who would like to see all small business owners succeed, but also believes in standing behind one's service. Update: I spoke with the proprietor of D&G. I am appreciative that she called me back. She refused to take responsibility for the scratches. Instead she blamed Prime Realty who maintained control of the unit during the sales process. Prime Realty did provide D&G a key to enter the home. In sum, the deep scratches in the floor were not present prior to the removal of the furniture by D&G. They were present immediately after the removal of the furniture. It would have been appreciated if the company would have taken responsibility for the damage.
