To make matters worse it was raining and I had to be at work in a few hours. I just pulled into their lot without making an appointment and told them my problem. I was figuring that it would take a day or to just to look at my car. But they took a look at my vehicle right away. After about ten minutes the employee told me they could have it ready in an hour and a half. I was expecting to pay a lot for the speedy service but they only charge me for the labor. Because of the great employees and their understanding of me needing my car that day. I was able to get to work dry and on time.

We went there on a Saturday morning and were approached by Andrew. We talked about what we were looking for and he got a vehicle for us to test drive. We weren't fans of the first one. We told Andrew what we did and didn't like. He brought out another vehicle to test. We loved it! When we got back, we started the process of buying it. That process always takes longer than we like, but we don't have to do it very often! We did everything that Andrew needed and then we had to wait for the finance guy. We were paying cash and were not purchasing an extended warranty that day. That didn't matter - we still had to wait and go through the process. Grant was the finance guy. He did go through everything quickly after we told him where stood on the warranty issue. He was pleasant and very efficient. I love my new vehicle! Andrew called four days later to see if everything was okay and to see if I had any questions. I highly recommend this dealership and Andrew and Grant!

I was quoted an interest rate of 7.39% from Mike Carroll the business manager. I asked him how many points that would pay him on the deal. He said it would pay one point. (1% of the cost of the car...) I asked to see that in writing. 30 seconds later he shows me a piece of paper that shows that a 7.39% interest rate would pay him 3 points. a 6.39 % rate would pay him 1%. Now the car was 13K so the monthly payment wouldn't change a whole lot. The problem is that Mike Carroll lied right to my face. He gave me a line that the rate was automatically generated. Amazingly, I got the 6.39% interest rate within a few minutes of him originally quoting me 7.39% Also, the car I purchased did not come with a warranty. Mike said I could get a three year 36K warranty for just under $4000. After a little discussion, I said I would pass. He typed on his keyboard for a second then told me I could get the same warranty for about $3500. After a little more discussion, I declined. He then said he would get "a slap on the hand for doing this" but could offer the exact same warranty for $3100. In under three minutes, the warranty dropped $1000. No way was I going to buy this from him. I'm not sure what his commission would have been, but I don't think it would have been deserved for the 20 minutes of his time he gave me. I get that no one works for free but I found this pretty crappy.

I was told it wouldn't start, it got rained on, then it would start but it had a blown head gasket, and I am now told it needs $20,000 worth of repairs? The same vehicle that I drove there and dropped off without issue is now totaled. Terrible customer service and shady business. I asked what was done to the vehicle while it was there because it ran perfect when I dropped it off, and nobody can give me any answer. I have repeatedly called and been told I would receive a call back from the service manager Danny and he never calls. I will be taking this up with BBB and small claims court I guess. Obviously I will advise everyone to avoid these guys at all costs.

This is one of those years. Where shall I start? Well, the motor on my back window broke, so for three days I had it duck-taped up. (I keep it classy.) However one day it rained. A lot. And since that window was still down just a smidge, the tape came right off....which I found out when I went to my car on my lunch break at work. Water all up in my backseat. Yay. I took it home, duck-taped the crap out of it, and called my step-dad to ask if he knew anyone good in the area who could fix it. A few phone calls later and I was on the phone with the wonderful Maria at White Front Auto. She said they could fix the motor, no problem. I told her I was also just a tad voerdue for an oil change. She said they could give me an oil change, no problem. I then asked her if they could also check the back brakes since those were a little iffy. She said no problemo. And the best part? They could get me in tomorrow! I just had to drop off the key and my car that night after work. Cool. As I was leaving my house to head back to work, I was deep in thought about how finding a place right down the street from me, who could do all of those things at once and who could get my car in so quickly was fantastic. My day was turning around! And then, I started my car. Or attempted to start my car. Because it didn't actually start for about 20 minutes. When I finally got it revved up and running, I called Maria back - "Can you also have them check my battery?" Her response - no problem. Nice. I dropped my car off after work, dropped the key in their mail slot and that was that. I figured I'd hear from them in the next two days. Nope - Maria called me at 10am the next day! Granted it wasn't with good news: "Your battery is fine." (Yay!) "But you do need a new starter." (Crap.) Apparently my car needed to be running for them to do the rest of the work, so a new starter was kind of a big deal. I gave her the ok to buy it and finish it up. At that point, she also gave me the pricing for the new window motor and the oil change. (I appreciated this as it's nice to have an idea of what to expect to pay before picking your car up and having a mild heart attack at the sight of the "amount due" line.) By about 12:30pm, she called back- they were finished! I was shocked - my car has never been done that fast for even a simple oil change at the dealer. (Guess where I'll never go again?) I ran by on my lunch break to pay for the work and to pick up my key. It was about $700 for everything - new starter, oil change, tire rotation, fluid top off, new two-piece motor for the back window, and labor for all of that. That was about $400 less than what I thought I'd be paying. Nice. On top of all that, they checked my brakes, found that I would need new back brakes in the next 2-3 months, and wrote out all the pricing for those - again, it was about $200 less than what I had figured. Tony, the owner of White Front has owned this shop for almost 40 years. Apparently people from Fenton drive up to have their cars worked on there. And I can see why - great customer service (thanks, Maria!), super fast auto service and decent prices. No one jacked me around trying to upsell this or that, and my car was in, out, done.
