They have a friendly COMPLIMENTARY shuttle to take me to work, and then also to come pick me up when my car is finished. That's right. A free ride so you don't have to sit and wait. How many business can you think of that provide such a great service for free? (Cue the crickets.) I have never once had them try to push anything extra on me or give me the old runaround you get at most car places. They are always polite, respectful, and extremely helpful when explaining any issues you may have and options for a solution. They don't talk to me like I'm a "girl", but at the same time they understand I need car things explained so a typical person can comprehend. Well I went to valvoline in maplewood and they said they didn't do that anymore (as of last year) and informed me about telle tires (which needed an appt and was after the 4th of jan was earliest avail) and the inspection station. I headed on over to the inspection station and read the instructions. I signed in and the nice gentleman (I think the owner) told me to wait in my car. About 15 min later I was asked to pull in, I paid in cash, and left with my inspection. The process was super easy and he was very nice- I tend not to go to car places by myself as a female because I usually get taken advantage of but not here. I felt safe, process was easy, and the owner was nice. He also seemed to have won a crap ton of awards for muscle cars. $24 and 20 min later, I was able to renew my tags! Be better then me and don't wait until the 30th of Dec but I would def recommend you go here! Great service, great value! I think open 9-5 daily (not sure about sundays)

Since I was new to this experience, I had to Goggle where to go. There was one repair shop near my home, but when I saw this Illinois Air Team and its reviews, I made the extra drive. As I arrived, I liked the main sign telling you your estimated wait time. It told me, one minute. I pulled around back and entered the building. I answered a few questions and was told to exit my SUV and before I could check in on social media, it was all done. I could have gone into the office and gotten my plates renewed, but I went home and did it on-line. When I went to order my sticker, I thought I'd have to enter some code number from my inspection, but the site already knew it had been completed. I finished my transaction and had my sticker in the mail within a week. The gentleman doing my inspection was friendly and professional. I was impressed and I'll be back when I need another emissions test.

Just pull around to the back of the building, pick a lane (often staff will guide you to a specific one), and pull through till instructed to stop. They will scan a barcode and ask for your mileage. Then instruct you to exit your vehicle with it still running. Upon completion you will be handed a paper indicating pass or fail. The whole process typically takes no longer than 5-10 minutes.

One thing that you should know is that they will charge for each diagnoses. To me it's not a bad thing, but someone might be surprised by it. Overall great experience. Very trust worthy. dont walk, run run run away from these a******. ordered a ppi inspection one week ago. daniel…read moreanswered the phone and told me the owner mark would handle the ppi. i said the car was at the dealer not bring brought to their shop. its a 1955 mercedes 300sl. fast forward a week. i call to confirm our appt tomorrow. the owner picks up. first thing he says is he has no idea what a ppi is. he then says he has a very busy day tomorrow and he can make get to it friday. he said to call the dealer and make sure they can get him in 1st thing tomorrow morning. dealer says no problem. i call them back to let him know. daniel answers the phone and says, sorry we dont do mobile ppi inspections. that was the end of the call. these guys are absolute goons!!!!! all these awful reviews are 10000% factual. these guys and mark are worthless people who should never work in hospitality. i was on a time crunch and choose to wait one full week for an inspection. now i have to wait at least a few days for a new inspector to come out. run run run dont walk away from these guys. they are actual flakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a wheelchair ramp on the back of my car and a lady smashed into it so hard that she bent it and I couldn't use it. I went to Lambert's to see how long and how much it would cost. I left five minutes later with a young man bringing out a long bar and just pried it back in place for me. At no charge! I'm free again! If you need someone who is going to listen to you and do a great job then just go to Lamberts and you'll have no worries.

Took a BMW to A Plus with a sever shake on acceleration problem. They diagnosed the issue as a bad…read morerear drive shaft which was replaced. This was expensive and did not solve the sever shake at all. Lost confidence in A Plus's ability to diagnose this issue and took the vehicle to another mechanic. After a five-minute test drive, the problem was identified as a bad front CV axle which was replaced, and this fixed the sever shake. I do NOT recommend A Plus for any BMW repairs or diagnostic work.
