The bartending staff at Chaak always treats customers like family, but unfortunately, they close early, so my sister and I would often end up at The Swinging Door afterward. This past Friday night, the bar was not busy, yet Jacqueline, the bartender, repeatedly ignored us. After our first drinks, we tried to order a second round and flagged her down several times, but she showed no interest in helping us. Her behavior came across as dismissive, rude, and completely uncalled for. I had not been back to The Swinging Door in a long time because of a similar experience, but I previously chalked it up to the bar being busy that night. Unfortunately, this visit confirmed that poor customer service continues to be an issue. No one goes to a bar on a Friday night expecting to be ignored or treated poorly by the bartender. Lesson learned. I sincerely hope management retrains its bartending staff and reminds them that being attentive and kind to customers is a basic part of the job.

There's a full bar, a huge menu, billiards, and multiple sports playing throughout the venue--including college football, soccer, and UFC--so there was always something happening. What really stood out to me was the hospitality. And let me talk about the FOOD because I honestly wasn't expecting bar food to be THIS good! Everything tasted like it came from an actual restaurant rather than a typical sports bar. The menu has so many options that there really is something for everyone, whether you're coming for a full meal, drinks and appetizers, or just to watch the game. I loved the lively atmosphere--it was energetic without feeling like there was nothing else going on besides the sports. Between the huge menu, full bar, billiards, multiple games on, and friendly staff, Danny K's is definitely a place where you can come hang out and make an entire evening out of it. The loaded tots were crispy with lots of bacon and green onions. The mozzarella triangles had great cheese pull and really tasty marinara sauce. The buffalo wings were large and moist. Pretty much the best wings I have had in a long time. We also split the pastrami burger. A good size burger with a tender patty and thick cuts of pastrami. The double battered fries wete also great. We also had to get a meat lover's pizza. Such great flavor and loved the toppings, especially the sausage. We finished with Shirley Temple's. Christian is an amazing representative of Triangle Billiards in Tustin. As a design firm with specialty needs we reached out to him to help us refurbish a table and creation of a new poker table top. He is knowledgeable, polite and very patient with all the difficulties we encountered. He went out of his way to research and provide sources for our needs and then put together a beautiful new table. We highly recommend Christian and Triangle Billiards for all your game room needs. Oh rubbish!! Awful salesmen just as predicted. Nobody to help unless u walk up to them, they were all out smoking MJ; I saw and smelt it. Once I got Joseph F's attention he was way too sarcastic when I asked for a military discount. There was no concern for what I actually wanted, he steered me toward only high end product. The merchandise is great, yet I will buy from elsewhere due to the low quality business practices. read more

I certainly have favorites, but they were all my favorites at one time or another. A couple of years ago, my wife got one of the machines you see in various box stores. I was elated. I loved being able to play the classics like Malaga and Pac Man. I added a Tron / Discs of Tron game. Still, something was - off. The buttons didn't feel quite right, and it wasn't perfect. I couldn't replicate the scores I got at the local pizza place, and I had a machine in my home where I could practice as much as I wanted. I fell down a small rabbit hole about the quality of the sticks and buttons as well as the machine emulating the arcade. Somewhere in all that, I stumbled across Game Room City. They made machines that used authentic controls and high end parts. The larger screen would allow for horizontal games like Joust and Street Fighter. The whole unit was considerably larger. It came with a higher price tag. I seemed and hawed a bit, but eventually called them up. I had a few questions, and they were quickly answered. Dennis gave me every confidence that this was the experience I wanted. I placed and order. A week later, I had a giant box on my doorstep. Much to my dismay, I found it had been damaged in shipping (no fault of Game Room City there). I reached out, and they immediately got on the ball. They had a replacement shipped out to me quickly, and this one arrived intact. I hade it up and running that same afternoon. With over 7000 games, it covers almost everything I played growing up. I joke with my friends that it is a crate of nostalgia in the game room now. Everyone who has seen it, even in a couple of days, loves it. It feels like a real arcade machine - because it is. The machine is commercial quality. The experience is just like playing at an arcade. The customer service is top notch. If you are looking for an arcade machine, this machine and this company come highly recommended.
