Update got my move out!! They manage to come up with their own sewer bill of the month I moved out....they are charging me $140 even tho I have my PSE bill all on auto, and paid to the city, they're billing me that ontop of charging me for 2 weeks of utilities after I moved out, an addition $140.10 cents exactly for not even the full month? But somehow adds to the full month of July? Hmm then charged me for August rent even tho I moved out July 30th.....with no response to why I am being charged after several email and call attempts for a couple weeks now. Oh did I mention they closed me out of my own account so I can't see where these charges they are billing me is coming from. With no explanation and no response, this is the last impression this apartment wants to leave with you, unfairly without explanation, and makes you sign NDA so you can't say or talk about the bad things that happened to me, they snuck that into my lease break, without knowledge. This place def trumps the worst place I've ever lived at....management especially, don't ever make a complaint unless you don't mind being harassed by the manager for the rest of your lease, because he doesn't believe you. Will withhold your packages, close you out of your accounts and force you to pay the 200$ late fees. ALL HEARTS COME HOME We recently downsized again and took an apartment at the new Tria in Newcastle. I would like to take credit for this stroke of genius but I'm pretty sure it was good fortune or karma. On my initial visit to Tria I was greeted warmly by Quyen and although I did not have an appointment she gladly sat down with me. Quyen was warm friendly comforting (moving is stressful) and knowledgeable. She has since moved on to another Pinnacle property and is a valuable asset. Next visit I'm greeted by a good 'ole "hi ya'll" with a Texas accent...enter Tami. Tami took over and quided us easily through the rental process. She's lively fun efficient welcoming and has dog biscuits for our Bella...they're best friends now. Their leader April also a Texan and a new associate Emily fill in the blanks provide continuance service so that the application process and move in are seemless...cudos. Folks welcome to Newcastle and to Tria you are in the right little city (here 20 years) and in the absolute best hands and homes. While are movers (Redmond Movers) are doing a fabulous job a of getting our new home set up, we head to our first Wind Down Wednesday. WDW is a meet and greet for residents complete with beer wine and delicious varying food treats all provided by Tria and hosted by Tami or another of our new family. Did I mention the complimentary pop corn machine? Then up to their roof garden overlooking Newcastle and Mt. Rainer complete with party lights comfy chairs and loungers fire pit Weber grill and two big screen out door televisions. GO SEAHAWKS! Our new home is filled with folks from all over the world...love the diversity. We have athletes teachers students kids dogs cats and peeps from T Mobile Alaska Airlines Amazon and Microsoft. We have a parcel delivery locker system great security Newcastle PD next door and Justin the fabulous friendly helpful building engineer. Their is indoor parking on two levels as well as outdoor (not much guest parking). The warm friendly Tria team goes out of their way to take great care of you and will exceed your expectations...promise. I'm happy comfortable and it feels like home to me. I came here with my girlfriend and helped her get her apartment. What sold us was the management. Quinn and Tammy is half the reason my girlfriend decided to move here and why I supported her. Although I don't live at the building, I come here a lot and Tammy was always welcoming and has helped me in so many ways. I am so disappointed that I found out about the change by coming here after a business trip to just a note on the door. I agree with everything Jill has to say. This is not how you communicate a change of management and feel that the changes are already evident. Update: To add to what I've already said earlier, paying rent online now costs $10. It's not a lot of money but I would say it's a sign of the nickeling and diming that's to come. read more

I absolutely love Tria!!! My wife and I just moved here a couple months ago and have loved being here. The neighborhood is great and it is in a wonderful location close to both Downtown Bellevue and Renton as well. The staff are amazing and have been the best especially through this rough COVID season. I would 10/10 recommend this place for anyone wanting to move in the area. read more

There has been so much wrong with management, that I can't even fit it into this review. I have never been so disappointed by an apartment management, it blows me away. First, I was told wrong information (thanks Sergio) on monthly utilities that adds about $300 to your monthly rent. We also were given an apartment that was not correctly advertised to us (ADA, which I am pretty sure is illegal not to disclose about the apartment) but we were not allowed to look at it until move in day. (When we did look at it, Alexis still didn't mention it was ADA) At that point, we already had our Uhaul and ready to move in and couldn't change. We have our downstairs neighbors harassing us since day 1 of moving in, and months later, still harass us about our 2 year old daughter being too noisy for his dog (management just told us to ignore it and did nothing) Our downstairs neighbors also smoke weed all day, in their apartment and on the balcony, this fills up our apartment with the smell, and again, management does nothing (which isn't great for both our kids under 3 years). There are parties on the rooftop until 5am, every single weekend. We told management (Sharmila) about it, she said to call emergency maintenance, so we did that, and then they said it wasn't considered an emergency and did nothing. This place literally does not care at all for their tenants safety or livability. We don't feel comfortable living here and are worried for our children's safety all the time. No one should have to live like this. If you are single, smoke weed, stay up late and don't mind neighbors harassing you, then live here. Otherwise, save yourself the complete disappointment of basically no management and out of control tenants. read more

Moving out for the first time during a pandemic was not ideal but Tria made it work out so nicely. They had great deals and offers for us. Everything at this apartment is modern and chic. Hardwood flooring was a must for me and in every unit we saw they had it. Brittany who helped me with touring and anything else I happen to email them about was a huge help this whole year. I've lived at this property since it opened a couple years ago. It has gone through a huge change in management in the last few months but for the good! The office used to never be open, emails would never get responded to and phones never answered! Brittany in the office is always there now and responds promptly to all requests! Natalia is the new property manager and also manages the sister property across the street but still takes care of our property. The previous reviews are mostly true but this building has had a huge turn around! read more

It was okay. I lived here for a year from 10/17-10/18 so the place was still brand-new and I was the first tenant of my apartment, which was cool. The Good: Trails around the property are plentiful and Lake Boren Park is one of my favorites in the area. Additionally, the property is less than a 5 minute walk from the bus stop, so I was easily able to commute to and from work without a car. The 240 bus will take you to the Renton TC/Bellevue TC and the 114 bus has weekday service to and from Seattle during commute hours. The place is pet friendly, which in my experience, can be hard to find for nice apartment buildings. Tria uses "Parcel Pending" for package deliveries, which is an awesome service! The Bad: I have to say, I liked it better with the original management company (Pinnacle) and think they just did an overall better job and were much more friendly than the new company (AMC). The rooftop area was nice, but the TVs completely stopped working after 6 months or so and were never fixed before I left in October. Additionally, there is a gas fire pit on the roof, but again, I never found it in working order/with a full tank of propane. Walls are PAPER thin and you will be able to hear your neighbors quite a bit (especially those above you). If you live on the side of the building that faces the back parking lot, your apartment will be BLAZING hot in the late-summer afternoons. The apartments have an exhaust port for portable A/Cs, but from my experience, they are mostly junk and will cost you big $$$. Overall: A decent place in a nice and quiet neighborhood. A nearly brand-new building, but this place is intended to be a money making machine for the owner -- just keep that in mind. read more

I've been here almost a year and I'm happy with my apartment and very pleased how the property manager, Amanda, handles business. She is always friendly and accommodating even in times of tenant stress. This may be a transitional place for those moving out of or into homes nearby but I can see staying here longer because of the way this place is run. Tria was built about three years ago so the building is newer, modern, chic and clean. The interior is cute with hardwood floors in the main area with bright lighting, a sliding glass door and a gray/white interior color scheme. The building is also secure with fob key access for the front door, the garage, the lobby area and the elevator. The entire office staff and management team changed earlier this year, and they're all really helpful and responsive compared to the previous staff and management. Whenever I have contacted the team about any concerns, the team responded and acted with urgency. This includes any maintenance requests too. The apartment is also pet friendly! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. there are many bad management issues, if you want to have friends over you can't. There's no extra parking or you will get towed. You have to park at the nearby Safeway. Constantly finding a reason to enter your apartment and being very nosy. Caught them on camera looking into areas that were not on the notice of entry paperwork, read my whole calendar all seen on my camera I set up. New management is worse then old management highly disrespectful about everything came in and changed everything like it was her own. She is not approachable. Only one elevator which takes forever. Pay 85$ for a parking spot in the garage to just have people park in it wherever they want when Im not home. I own two cars and I have to park one of them at Safeway which is so unsafe. I chose this as my first apartment because I'm young and I was hoping it was safe and secure just to find out one staircase has no lock on it. Anyone can get up. My packages have been stolen and they did nothing about and I've had packages that were opened. Not a damn thing was done. If you would like to ask me more questions before coming here you can comment of write a review and I'll get back to you. There is so much more to say but I feel like not enough space. I do not live on the property nor have I seen it but... the leasing process is a very important part in property management and if you have a prospect, you should do everything you can to thoroughly follow up with them. If someone is reaching out to your office, this person obviously likes your property (from what they'd have seen online) and they want to rent there. It's your job to get them in the door for a tour and/or give them as much information as you can. If you aren't doing the most you can do for each of your prospects, is it really fair? It makes me wonder how anyone was able to apply to this property... did other prospects receive better treatment and more information? How can I know that everyone was treated fairly to apply for the apartment that is available online when I wasn't even told how I can apply for it. The email responses from the leasing team and property manager were very poor. Not much information about the property, applying, specials or coming in for a tour. Leasing agent said she was completely booked for a tour on Sunday when I wanted to visit... I guess making time for someone who is interested in renting is not important. Then I emailed back (at 11am on Sunday) to ask about touring on Monday.. and never received a response. I asked what apartments have the special and the property MANAGER simply replied "I have a one bedroom one bath that has the move in special." Okay... is that all??? Thank you for the help... and still no answer if I could come in for a tour. Also, if I'm looking for an apartment in a couple of months and not right now at this particular moment, I should be treated like my search for an apartment is just as important as someone that is ready to move right now. Because in a couple of months, I could be a new resident there. The property itself is okay, but the management has shady practices and will charge you with many different fees that may come as a surprise to you. As an example, they will charge you excessive cleaning fees even if you clean the apartment at the end of the lease. The moral of the story is that do not clean your apartment when leaving and perhaps trust the negative reviews. read more

It takes me a lot to write a review on anything but my buddy lives here and the stories he tells me are almost unbelievable. First off, this place is brand new and every time we go up to the only amenity in the entire dump.. which is the roof there's never any propane in the fire or the bbq. The patio furniture is absolute trash. The elevator is so slow, there's only one elevator. The "secured" garages are always broken. My friends car got broken in to, but the cameras didn't work? The management is never, ever in the office. If they are, it's someone different. I even inquired to lease a one bedroom and the girl that was helping me was so rude. She didn't even look me in the face, her answers were so short. It looks nice but that's all this place has going. I've seen some weird maintenance dudes there late at night prowling cars. My friend is too nice to post this so I'm gonna do it for him. Do yourself a favor and don't even waste your time. I don't live here but I feel like I do because of the terrible stories I hear. Knowing my lease over at 2000 Lake Washington was about to end in a few months, I started viewing other properties in the area. I viewed Newport Crossings, Avalon Commons and Tria. After viewing each of them I decided to go with Tria. I will be moving in to this building right when the construction is completed. I originally went to view the property when they started doing hard hat tours and pre-leasing back at the end of March. Between then and now, the property manager April, has continually kept me in the loop with what's going on with the building and answering all of my little questions. She is always prompt with responding and beyond helpful. She has really made sure that everything in preparation for my move is all in place, which seeing as I pre-leased fairly early I didn't really expect that much attention to detail and assistance. Currently living at a building that has the small community feel, I didn't want to lose that. Tria isn't overwhelmingly large like a few of the other complexes around the area. I personally want to know the faces I see around the halls are familiar and not constantly changing. Makes it feel safer. The location of the building is just a short drive to the interstate, The Landing, and depending on which direction you go, you're a quick drive to Bellevue, Seattle or down to the South Center area! I'll make sure to update my review with photos upon move in and then of course an update after living there for a few months. So excited! read more

0 STARS. ZERO, NADA, NOTHING. Eric and Lee are BOTH terrible managers. Neither one could ever give an answer when one was needed. If lies were on the job description prior to hiring, well then we know why they were hired. Packages being "denied" or "kicked back" by Lee and resident not notified about it although he/she pays for parcel pending. Utility bill magically rises about as high as the maintenance employees. Unprofessional staff cursing in front of potential future residents... which leads into the ONLY damn parking there is for guest. Besides the two parallel parking, the guest parking is the only 3 spots for visitors which I've also witnessed someone being towed after 6 which is the time it's okay for guest to park there... I've seen a resident lock their fob inside and had to call the number posted on the building to get them inside, which lead to a black box on the back of the building that anyone could open for free and get in. Both stairwells are not secured by gates so anyone could walk up especially when the gates are broke. Propane is always out. I witness Eric raise his voice extremely loud at a potential resident while yelling at a woman in the office. Again, unprofessional. The black maintenance work truck the parks in like 9 different spots with random dudes hiding the key in the gas tank and more random people showing up to the truck to grab the key to go inside... Had a resident ask Lee where can guest park when the spots are full and he said there's a street with street parking yet I've seen him park his truck in the future resident and resident parking. The list goes on and on and if this review were to get reported it's because they obviously don't want the truth to be known publicly. Lee and Eric need to be fired. I don't see this place lasting another year if you asked me. Somebody needs to fix this immediately!!!! read more

I am planning on relocating to the Seattle area from the east coast. I have been calling apartment buildings for two weeks straight trying to find pet friendly apartments without crazy restrictions. Relocating from so a far away can be hectic and I expected people to have been a little more welcoming. Half of the places didn't even return my phone calls! Tria is different and Tami has been super helpful. She returned my call promptly and was very informative. She's super sweet and actually cared to get to know me and my story. For her to provide that level of service when I was so frustrated only makes Tria shine that much brighter. Location seems perfect but since I will be new to the area I am still researching locations. I want to be sure I choose the surrounding Seattle area that makes the most sense for me. If it ends up being Newcastle then this place is it! If its not, then I seriously want to stop in to meet her and say thanks for actually being nice.
