Thought I'd share my experience with Tri- Valley Rentals! So, I needed chairs last minute (typical, right?). I decided to give the closer rental businesses a shot, but guess what? None of them were open as early as Tri Valley Rental was( 8 am Saturday) And to make matters worse, none of the surrounding businesses even bothered to pick up their phones! Talk about frustrating. But hey, I called up Tri Valley Rentals and guess who answered? Terri, the absolute MVP. She was super welcoming and reassuring. I wasted no time and headed straight there. And you know what? I was greeted by another gem, Pamela. These two lovely ladies made my experience stress-free and downright wonderful. I can't recommend them enough for your next gathering. The worst experience using this "so called" rental place ever and unfortunately 0 stars for their review is not an option. They do not deserve 1 star. First when they loaded everything into my daughters Escalade they did a horrible job. Everything was moving around and slamming the back door and scratching up her upholstery, it was awful. When we started unloading everything at the house I cannot tell you how shocked I was when I saw the condition of the white padded chairs that we rented all 10 of them were disgustingly filthy so bad that it took me 2 1/2 hours to clean the chairs Yep that's right I said 2 1/2 hours to clean chairs that we rented for an event that were filthy. Pictures are provided!!! When you rent stuff for an event you expect them to be clean in nice condition and uniform everything should be uniform. We couldn't even get anything uniform. The nightmare does not end there. The 5 chafing dishes we rented were not even matching. We were not told that they did not have matching chafing dishes which should've been disclosed at the time I took a drive out there to pay for our order. They do not accept credit cards over the phone so I had to drive out there to pay for everything prior to our picking up the rentals. We also rented 2 tables and oh my goodness wait until you see what those looked like. I mean seriously how do these people even stay in business the tables looked like we went dumpster diving!!!! The corner of one of the tables was missing - a chunk out of the table was gone and both were splintering underneath which also got all over the Escalade on the trip over. Needless to say we couldn't use the tables, the chafing dishes did nothing match and the most frustrating part of all was the condition of the so called white padded chairs - more like grayish black chairs which you will see in the photos I will provide. 2 - 1/2 hours to clean them and the fact that they got them back so clean is even more maddening! When I called them to ask how the hec they can give us filthy disgusting chairs, their response was "we do not give dirty chairs - absolutely not! Make sure you get photos". Are you kidding me????? Already have photos and I'm fuming that I have to waste 2-1/2 hours cleaning these. 2-1/2 hours that I had to take out of my work day to get the chairs cleaned up for the next day. 2-1/2 hours missed work is $87.50 money lost not to mention a waste of my time. After all this nightmare, when we returned everything on Friday afternoon they only reimbursed us $63 out of the $213 we spent for this dumpster quality stuff - we did not end up using the 2 tables or the one of the linen tablecloths and they got their 10 grayish black filthy chairs back looking brand new bright white. They barely apologized and big deal an apology after what they gave us would've been the start but that's basically all we got besides the money reimbursed for 2 table rentals 1 tablecloth and 10 chairs - how about the labor for the 10 chairs that left their place disgustingly filthy and they got back looking brand new fresh and clean the way they should've looked going out. One more key bit of info to let you all know: they claim they never let their chairs go out dirty - that's a BiG laugh because I saw their chairs in the back - their entire inventory of white chairs pretty much looked like the ones they gave us so if you are looking for white chairs - DO NOT rent them from Tri Valley - because you will be disappointed! How they can look you in the eye and rent such filth and still be in business is beyond me! Oh and I almost forgot the day my daughter went to pick everything up was the day before thanksgiving - they were closing at noon that day - my daughter arrived at 11:30am and one of the ladies that worked there made the comment to another that worked there - "Finally, ughhhh we've been waiting all morning for her - it's about time! Ummmm, are you serious - how insulting! They are open until 12 noon and it was 11:30am why would you even say something like that? I've used them a few times, but will never use them again after today. We picked up chairs, tables, and linens last night only to return them the very next day because I got sick. I called to tell Michelle I was sick and if I could return them this morning and she said, just return them on Monday, we don't give refunds. I had a 100 plus person birthday party to do in less than 30 days. I started by calling first to get a feel of the service and learn of the products available. I had already called several places but I really liked the customer service from the get-go here by Terri. I decided to come on in. When I did I was excited to see all the different things, stuff, products Tri Valley Rentals had to offer. On the first, of several visits, Katie went above and beyond in helping me and advising me on my party. I ended up reserving my tables and chairs on that day. Because I love party planning just walking in this store inspired me and set my creative groove on. On the next visit, I got to meet Terri, she is amazing and super nice. She also helped me take it to the next level with different prop suggestions. I highly recommend this place if you are party planning. It's a one-stop store and the variety of party decor is incredible. It was like a candy store for me. I surely will be doing business with Terri in the future. I've been usingTri Valley rentals for 20 years, always for tables and chairs. Last week I had a last minute linen rental, which luckily they had available. THEN on Saturday morning we had to add an extra table, so I called Tri Valley hoping they might have one, they did not. Terri was compassionate of my situation and had some helpful suggestions but not what I envisioned. Five minutes later, she called back and had another option, I told her I was calling around to see if I could find one. Then she called back a couple minutes later to say I could use the one she had on display (which I remember seeing with a bunch of items in it) if I couldn't find one. How sweet is that?! We used Tri Valley a few times, the first time was probably the worst customer service by the owner. We rented tables & chairs for a wedding shower. Well, we followed his directions which were to break down the tables and chairs & leave on the side of the house. Well, we left them all broken down in the back of the house. At pick up, the owner was furious the tables were not on the side of the house ( the back of the house was about 10 feet away). He told my 75 year old mother in law to help move the tables into the truck and she did! I could NOT believe it! I have rented from them two times too many. I am sick of the attitude and rude customer service. No matter if you are calling them or in the store they have been consistently rude to us. I won't rent from them anymore. They are also overpriced AND to top it off, you can only place a rental order in person, not over the phone. Some quick, noteworthy points: - Before I visited the store, I called to get some advice on how many tables/chairs I may need. Terri was incredibly patient and helpful over the phone. Thank you, Terri!! - They have great basics in addition to a plethora of other items. When you walk into the store, it's like a treasure trove of just party stuff. I loved it! - The actual renting process with them could not have been any easier. When you're planning a large party, the last thing you want is more stress. I've been going to Tri-Valley for years. I used them to rent all my linens and things for my wedding 4 years ago and for my son's 1st birthday last year. Their prices are the best in town and they ALWAYS have my order ready when I come to pick it up. They have so many cool and unique things to rent...I was wish I had time to browse everything they have! I just called this morning to rent some tables and chairs for my husband's birthday party on Sat. Terri was very pleasant on the phone (she always is), she took my order and when I asked if she needed a credit card she said I can pay when I come pick up my items. Save yourself the trouble and call Party Pros first. I called to reserve some rentals with Tri Valley and they would not take my order over the phone only in person. There was no way I could make it into the store due to my work schedule and their hours. I tried to explain to them this dilemma and offered to provide via email or fax whatever documentation they needed for legitimacy. The gentleman was short and extremely unsympathetic. I have nothing but good things to say about Tri-Valley rentals. Terri was so helpful with my many questions from my initial order right down to my final changes a week before my daughter's wedding reception. Their prices are competitive with others... she even matched a price of another rental company since I provided proof of their lower rate on a specific item. I loved the fact that Terri ordered a sample sash for me in a sea mist green color because I was having difficultly matching the color. The good is they have a lot of variety of different things to rent for parties, weddings, etc. Also the staff who works inside the store was very pleasant and helpful. The bad is the owners husband (can't miss him he is the miserable old guy). He shows up to setup the margarita machine and says "where do you want it". I said right by the bbq. He says "you can't put it there cause there isn't a place to plug it in". I said I'll just plug it into an extension cord. Old miserable man says "oh no you won't". I didn't realize you shouldn't plug the machine into and extension cord. There are better ways to explain it to a customer paying $600 bucks in rentals. Then he asked "are you planning to put alcohol in it?" I replied well yes of course. He said angrily "you shouldn't". I said well then take it back I'm not trying to rent a $150 dollar slushy machine. At that point I was pretty frustrated with this guy. In my opinion he thinks he is something special for having a store full of hand me down rental equipment which isn't even in that good of shape. I mean we rented three tables with umbrellas in our order, each umbrella was falling apart the screws were falling out of them, and the umbrellas were all crooked. Move on guys there are better options with less hassle. I can't imagine the business will be running much longer with this old miserable man running it. read more

My experience with Tri Valley Rentals started out very well. Their location was convenient, prices competitive, and the staff was friendly. The lady who took my reservation was friendly, talkative and helpful. So was the lady that helped me the day I picked up the rental chairs and tables. When I went to set the tables and chairs up later in the afternoon, I found that one of the chairs was damaged. I sat it aside so that I could bring this to their attention when I returned it. I could have easily stuffed the damaged chair in the stack of chairs and pretended like it didn't exist. Instead, I set it aside and handed to them separately. The kids unloading the items went inside and got an older gentleman with gray hair and mustache. He told me there was no way I rented a damaged chair from them. I explained that it was indeed damaged when I rented it. I told him I would have no problem paying for it but I would never rent from them again. He angrily told me that he would not charge me but he hates liars and would never rent to me again even if I wanted to. In conclusion, I thought I had found one of those great, friendly, local business' that I could use frequently. It's too bad it was spoiled by the grumpy old guy, who I would have to assume is the owner. If you rent from here, be especially careful to check for damage before you leave, unless you don't mind being called a liar and charged for things you didn't damage. read more

I have been renting from Tri Valley for years and they have always been great. I just had a reception for my son and Terri was above and beyond helpful with all my changes. Then when the young man showed up with the delivery, he was so helpful in taking the dolly with ALL my stuff to the back. We had to have another delivery where Rick came and brought the wine barrels, (awesome by the way). He explained how to make sure water was off and how to stack the furniture after use, that was an easy process. I will always rent from them for business and pleasure.
