We had a great experience with A Rental Connection for our August wedding in Los Angeles. Cinthia was an excellent representative to work with; she was flexible and responsive as we navigated changes to our rental needs in the run-up to the event. A Rental Connection's prices were fair and the breadth and quality of the equipment was solid. Their setup/breakdown process was prompt, efficient, and non-disruptive. We were really happy with their service overall. read more

They really worked with my timeline of wanting to set up tables and chairs a couple days before our wedding, so we could have Saturday morning to put out tablecloths and some of the table set ups. Their guys set up the tables and chairs for us. It's nice they have fruit wood chairs. Those were reasonably priced, as were tables. They worked with me sonewhat on pricing to be competitive with bids I'd gotten. The person I spoke to was very helpful - really helped me figure out what I want. The color of fabric was not true to images and they don't have colors to view online. I had to have them send images to me. Wish they had return bags for the linens. Also they should label better with table sizes as it's confusing putting them on. We had to remind them to go get some chairs as they had the number wrong, and they didn't remember shims to balance the tables on the lawn. They brought them with the missing chairs when we asked. They promptly picked up also. We'd have liked to use their chandeliers on posts but cost prohibitive. Overall a positive experience. Everything looked great. read more

Excellent customer service good prices, compared to the other rental places. And the gentleman who set it up and then picked up the stage later were very nice, quick and professional. I would definitely use them again. read more

I have never posted a negative review online, but I feel like it would be wrong not to in this case. I hired A Rental Connection for my wedding at Saddlerock Ranch and paid them over $11,000 only to end up with poor quality rentals, horrible communication and appalling customer service. To all Saddlerock couples, I know that they only give you two rental company options without paying extra, but save yourself the nightmare and go with any other company. Even with all of the issues below leading up to my wedding, I was ready to just move past my horrible experience with ARC. But to see the poor quality of items the day of, I feel compelled to warn future couples. Rentals was our single largest vendor and the rentals I received were not even worth half of what we paid. I only wish I had stuck with my gut and ran far away from this company. Please don't make the same mistake I did. QUALITY: The quality of items that I received was horrendous. Please see photos on my google review. To name a few, the ghost chairs were dirty and almost every single one was visibly scuffed up. The white dance floor was uneven (many people tripped) and had filthy black marks all over it. I could even understand if there were a few scuff marks here or there, but this was jaw dropping. EXECUTION: A Rental Connection would not even complete a walk through at the venue beforehand. Suddenly, the day of my wedding we are about 10 tables short and our caterers have no tables to work with. My caterer said, "A Rental Connection should have known to include that." I have never been married or planned a wedding, so of course, there are things that you rely on the rental company you hire to advise you on. My wedding coordinator also let them know that she had not worked at the Hilltop location at Saddlerock, and would rely on A Rental Connection's expertise to complete the rental order. Needless to say, A Rental Connection did not follow through. COMMUNICATION: As with many COVID brides, my wedding planning process was not easy and many things changed throughout the process. My other vendors were incredibly understanding, flexible, and professional. Kristi at A Rental Connection however, told me flat out "I am not going to spend anymore time on your quote until we have a deposit." Why should anyone be expected to give a deposit without knowing what the final quote total will be? This is the job of a rental company, and you shouldn't be made to feel like a burden. It would take 3-5 emails or phone calls before finally hearing back from anyone throughout the process. It was difficult for my wedding coordinator to get a response from them as well. Finally the week of my wedding, (after Saddlerock had to call the owner) they started being more responsive, so we were able to make some necessary changes to our order... to rub salt in the wound, they charged $150 for "last minute changes". Of course there are last minute changes... you only just started being responsive. The problem is not just one person (Kristi). My venue, Saddlerock had to reach out to the owner several times in order to get someone to respond to us. I wrote to the owner, Les after our wedding to express my concerns and received nothing back from him (in true ARC fashion). I followed up... and received a response from someone else, offering to waive the fee for the last minute table delivery charge, which should have been on my quote from the beginning had A Rental Connection done their job properly. read more

We rented tables with umbrellas and chairs for our outside graduation party and we're happy with the service and timely delivery. Went to several other rental companies before going to "A Rental Connection" In person. When I entering their building I was impressed with the modern clean appearance. Then their professionalism in showing what I needed for the comfort of our guests motivated me to choose them. Added bonus they were in Moorpark where I live. Their delivery driver Alfonso Rodriquez was friendly and professional in setting up. I highly recommend you use this company for any event you are planning. read more

Cinthia and the A Rental team far exceeded any expectations I had for our wedding rentals. She and her team are so professional and understanding. From back-and-forth emails to picking out items in their show room, and last-minute change requests... they were a breeze to work with. We booked with A Rental Connection for our covid-friendly micro backyard wedding at the end of September with 10 people. Since we downsized our event so much, we wanted to go all out with the rentals because our event basically turned into a nice dinner. I made an appointment to go to the showroom and meet with Kristi, who saw my vision right away and helped to pick out beautiful place settings that matched my theme and colors exactly. We ended up going with a wood table and didn't put a table cloth on it, which I loved so much! They have unique pieces that other rental places in the area don't have, and it really made our wedding feel extra special. Drop offs and pickups happened on time and whenever we had any questions, Kristi was very responsive by email. I would not hesitate to book with A Rental Connection again! read more

What to do! Only seven days to order chairs, china, tableclothes, etc., for my stepson's wedding, which was moved at the proverbial "eleventh hour" from Texas to our home in Topanga Canyon. "Not possible!" I panicked.. But that's when Cinthia at Rental Connection entered the scene -- and did a wonderful rush job, expediting the order. To save time, I even asked her to select some items, and her choices were perfect. Also courteous and professional, the delivery men -- Juan Carlos and Alex --went out of their way to be helpful. The table was beautiful; the wedding memorable. Thank you again, Cinthia -- first person I will call for our next event! read more

Bob at A Rental Connection was great to work with for our wedding. He helped us select all the items we wanted to match our style. We booked our rentals with A Rental Connection for our wedding. We communicated with Carlos and he was great to work with. I visited the location a few times for color schemes, changing my mind a number of times, which is normal for a bride, lol. You guys need to train your drivers better And also never take box canyon, I have a huge scratch on my hood now because your truck hit every single tree because of its height and the first tree it hit knocked a branch onto my car and from there I drove very far back watching everything that could have hit my car, not to mention he didn't stop at the stop sign and went his own way which I get because it's a large truck but he then cut off the other cars license starts with 170 read more

Working with A-Rental was an incredibly easy process. Bob patiently listened to our vision and then facilitated us through the whole process. He gave us great suggestions for our venue that he knew very well, and best of all he did NOT try to up sell us at all. He even made great suggestions on how to save here and there. He's a very trustworthy guy. Everything was delivered on time and looked great. We'd use A-Rental again in a heartbeat. read more

A rental connection could have been a five star review if they had been a little better with customer service. I worked with Julie, who was fine. She was polite enough on the phone and sent the contracts in a reasonable time. The day of the event, tables were scheduled to be dropped off at noon. By two I was calling to see what was going on, since I had not heard from anyone. They finally arrived at two thirty. It wouldn't have been a big deal except that no one had called or emailed anything to say they would be late. This was disappointing. If they had informed me of the later time I could have prepared a little better with everything else going on. I understand that the contract said any time between 7am and 430 pm, but if you are going to be over 2 hours late, give a window instead of saying an exact time. My big day was stressful enough without worrying where the tables were and if the driver got lost. Better communication definitely needed. read more

It really doesn't get any better than Bob Binns at A Rental Connection. I was referred to him by Michelle at Hummingbird Nest Ranch and seriously, all her vendor recommendations were spot on! Michelle had assured me that he was reliable, understood the concept of budgets and would never lead a client astray in terms of mapping out absolute needs to build a space from the ground up. Bob was exactly everything she said and more. I can see why he's a preferred vendor at Hummingbird. He's so easy to work with, super pleasant and very patient. I was worried when I first visited his showroom because I knew the cost of all the rentals would be the dealbreaker for me and my fiance at the time, in terms of whether or not we could afford to build our wedding from scratch. Bob knew every detail and nuance of the venue and had the routine down pat. I trusted him implicitly and felt confident about choosing him for all my rentals from generators to market lights, gobos, beautiful wooden dance floors (he made sure I didn't get parquet =D), lounge furniture, textiles, platforms, barware, chandeliers, trash cans and way too much more to mention here. When I provided the quotes I'd received to my wedding coordinators they were highly impressed by how competitive the prices were. Needless to say, they did not second guess A Rental Connection as my choice. My husband and I can't thank Bob enough. He was an absolute God-send. Thank you. read more

We got married at Saddlerock ranch this June. Gorgeous location but you're responsible for providing every napkin, chair and toothpick yourself. Bob immediately put us at ease during our showroom walkthrough - he's a consummate professional that has done this thousands of times and made sure we had every last thing we needed. The wedding turned out beautifully, everything went off without a hitch and the final layout exceeded our extremely high expectations. As far as cost, the invoice is completely transparent and labor is built in - the only time our cost moved from our initial quote was when we decided about 3 weeks before the wedding to wrap every tree in string lighting and hang chandeliers all over the property. One of their staff even stayed for the rest of the wedding and helped with moving heaters and chairs well past the time we had paid him for. Fantastic experience, highly recommended!!!! read more

Bob and his team at A Rental Connection made our wedding so beautiful. They have a wide range of rentals you can choose from whether you're looking for farmhouse chic to modern glam, they have it! They made our special day stress-free and easy. Thank you! read more

They are not transparent with pricing and they rip you off with all these additional fees. Including "wear and tear" 10% fee. They don't even list the pricing online so its really annoying and you waste a ton of time trying to get rentals sorted out. On top of that 10% is labor fees and installation fees they don't tell you about. You're better off with a different rental company. The sales consultant was unprofessional and slow to respond too. You have been warned!!! read more

We had a very positive and professional experience with A Rental Connection for our wedding. Carlos was very nice and extremely responsive in providing a quote as well as updating our invoice with multiple changes. Communication was clear and ongoing. Delivery and pickup were smooth and they delivered every item on time. There were no mistakes and the items rented were in great condition. In planning my wedding, I asked several vendors for recommendations for rental companies. Virtually all of them recommended A Rental Connection. I definitely see why and will not hesitate to use them again. read more

Frankly, working with a Rental Connection was an unpleasant experience for us. Initially, at the first meeting, when we were trying to pick which vendor to go with, Bob seemed very accommodating. He gave us a decent quote and even suggested he might be able to work with us on the price later on. But then, later on, we told him we'd found a vendor with some of the same materials for less money and asked for another quote with some items removed... Oh. My. He became belligerent and unaccommodating and QUADRUPLED his delivery fee, even though there would be significantly LESS items delivered. We were flummoxed. We couldn't believe that being honest with him about wanting to get the same materials for less money somewhere else would cause him to react so very very badly. Still, it was too late in the game to find someone with the particular materials he had, so we were stuck signing a contract with him. But, then every time we changed or added something to the list (as you HAVE to do with changing numbers/guests/last minute changes for a wedding) -- we never knew if he would add some extra surprise fee or not. It was stress we did not need leading up to our wedding. read more

We had the most amazing wedding this July and that is because of Bob's help and efforts! Bob was more than amazing by being considerate and patient, listening to our demand and vision. He made sure to bring it life, and we were lucky to have the most amazing wedding everyone is swearing by! Bob was always an email/a phone call away, answering all of our questions and concerns, never delays a response and always on top of it. We even used his services for our rehearsal dinner the night before at my mom's house. It was a last minute request, but he was more than helpful is providing everything we needed.
