Wifi throughout the resort no matter where you are on the property. West Branch is a town that has everything from Walmart to all your chain restaurants, yet just down the road from this resort you can find a Pub where all the locals hang out. It's the best of both worlds as far as location. The resort is clean and you feel very at home with all the personal touches. I can't say enough about the big house. Probably a great location for smelly hunters during deer season to get away from wife and kids. We were going to stay in a single villa but when we got to it (which seemed like a quarter mile walking from the parking lot), we were very disappointed. The fact that it was rustic was okay but we had inquired if there was a table where we could play cards in the evening and were told "yes". Well, the table was a small coffee table. The biggest problem was the bathroom shower which had a lot of mold. I attempted to call the front desk to report it but neither one of the two phones in the villa worked so I used my cell. I took a photo of the mold and requested that we be moved to the lodge. They did honor our request and the room was small but okay. When checking out the person at the front desk said that they checked out the bathroom issue that I reported and tholught it was fine. I was furious because I had a photo to prove my point and didn't like the attitude. The restaurant has a breakfast buffet but we decided to order individually. The servers don't come to your table - you go to the bar and order and pay and then someone brings your order to you. Lunch and dinner which are mediocre are served by the staff. Honestly, they need to invest some money to make improvements in the accommodations. We loved the courses but won't be returning because there is no option to stay anywhere else in that area that is decent.

This ranch did not disappoint. Each room is decorated so cute, the beds were very comfortable and having a private bathroom for each room was a defendant plus. The breakfast was homemade and very delicious! The owner made sure each room was clean and even asked us if the breakfast time was good for us. You won't get this kind of service at a hotel. The surrounding ranch was beautiful. Sitting on the large deck overlooking the horse ranch with coffee in hand was so calming. I wanted to stay longer. I would recommend staying here for as long as your vacation allows. You may even bring your horse or book to ride their horse. They have a large property with trails, along with state land behind them which also has many trails. I would recommend staying here, you won't want to leave.
