Lost Arrow is back and better than ever! If you haven't stopped by, it's probably because you hate having a good time. Pizza is delicious, and not that "delicious with acid reflux", but the best in the area (If ya know you know). Ask for a side of their garlic butter and ranch. Prices are great, location is amazing and I'm excited to see if the fish fry Friday's are just as good. Only recommendations to staff is to provide list hours of operations on Google maps, hour of operations for food on the website, and have a bit more of an online presence. I'm so glad to see this place being revived. Went Saturday for their prime rib special. It was delicious as well as filling. The portions are great the service was outstanding. I couldn't find one thing wrong with my meal, very much so that I came back the next day to try their burger. Something a little bit more casual but just as delicious. The drinks flow freely and definitely are not shy of booze. I say if you are in the area it would be a great place to eat with wonderful views of the river, however, if you need a place to stay, we looked up their rates and they are very affordable. This could be your very next mini vacation in Michigan. Try it out

Loved everything about this resort! I spend most MI summer weekends enjoying the Lake Huron…read morebeachfront at different venues with cottage rentals. Crystal Sands Beach resort was able to accommodate a girls weekend (17 girls) easily. The beach house apartments provided plenty of room, gorgeous views, full kitchen and an open floor plan. The Villa's are equipped with full kitchens, bedrooms, and open floor plans in general living areas. The Suite's were open floor plans with refrigerators and coffeemakers. The property and beach were well kept and grounds crews seemed to make regular rounds to ensure cleanliness. The resort is on the beach and has a gorgeous beach area. There were many families and children enjoying their swimming, kayaking, and bulldog sand castles. At night the resort set up chairs and multiple fire pits on the beach for guests and kept the wood coming and fires going! The resort also came equipped with regular housekeeping which included daily garbage changes, cleaning, and towel replacement. The resort is handicap accessible with an ADA Suite and handicap beach access. My travel companion is wheelchair bound and we had no problems getting around. The beach house steps were wide enough to get a wheelchair bound person up and down and all staff and owners were quick to offer assistance when we took the wheelchair and occupant of wheelchair up and down the steps. I've stayed in many (most) locations in that area on the beach and this is by far the best. We can't wait to go back for our annual girls weekend next year! I can't say enough about the location or the amazing staff/owners of the resort. They truly work hard (while making it appear effortless) to ensure everyone is having a great time. Thank you Sam and Nada!!!! It was truly a pleasure meeting you and thank you for such a great time and all that you did to make our 25th annual weekend perfect!

Dinner at Arie was over $250.00 ...the sea bass was about 3 ounces with no seasoning, the elk loin was barely edible...menu was very limited. when we informed our server that the steak was not good, they credited our salad. the steak was $82.00 and the sea bass was $58.00. you are definitely paying for the view and not for the quality of the food. keep driving... no food options after 10:00... not even a vending machine. had to go to 2 different floors to get a $4.00 bottle of water...very dissatisfied!

She was rolling her eyes, had an attitude, and snapped at us verbally for ordering some basic food and drinks in an almost empty club house. You have to call for room service to come by, we have dirty towels and trash overflowing currently. The staff had the shuttle take us to the pool/beach amenity, and when we arrived it was totally closed due to the wildfire smoke. No one let us know. We were stranded without bathrooms, towels, food or drinks. Finally, I found blood on the wall and our air vent was covered in hair and dust. This is a less than 4 star report in my opinion, with beautiful views and a nice building.

There are all sorts of tiny details that make Lebear a special place, such as cucumber-ice water by the pool, cookies in the kitchen, and free and easy kayak use on site. The location is excellent. We have stayed at the Homestead in years past, but the Lebear location really sets it apart as it is a quick walk to the grocery stores, restaurants and shops in Glen Arbor. My only complaint is a minor one, and it's just that the bedroom situation is a little funky. In all three of the units I saw, the master bedroom was perfect, but the two smaller guest rooms left much to be desired. One of the bedrooms has a nice queen bed and bunk beds and the other has a double or queen-sized trundle bed. I would think to put the trundle bed in the room with the bunk beds (making it more of a "kids" room) and leave the nice queen-sized bed in its own room. Also, the hallway lighting outside of the two smaller guest rooms was extremely bright at night and made it very difficult to sleep.

Absolutely amazing. A beautiful spacious apartment, with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. It easily slept the six of us and we did not feel the least bit over crowded. As there was a group of us the price really was pretty reasonable for the weekend. While family friendly, it could be a bit pricey. The kitchen comes with everything you need from dinner ware to dish soap. There is a large grill on the private porch besides the stove top and oven. Two fireplaces (one is gas and the other you have to light for which they provide all needed materials). There are two flat screen TVs in the main rooms, another in the master bedroom and a small one in the bunk room. The shower in the master bath is huge and there is also a separate large tub. The best part is the large porch that overlooks the beach and Lake Michigan. It wraps around the side around to the back. the view of the lake and Sleeping Bear Dunes is beautiful. The resort also has a gym, outdoor pool and hot tub. Blu, a restaurant I highly recommend, is attached. There is also free wifi (they provide a password). The staff was also amazing, expect to be treated like an honored guest. They take care if anything you might need, even marsh mellows. The only slightly negative thing is that Lebear is a bit off on its own in Glen Arbor. The wineries are about a half hour away which was reasonable. Glen Arbor is small but charming. There are several shops, a couple bars (try Art's Tavern) and a grocery store. The resort is a very short walk from the town.
