Very VERY thankful we found this company, we normally go to a more local stone place but... Covid knocked em out. Tom was super helpful and made ordering a breeze. He was also kind enough to show me the cutting room floor where they take raw stone and cut it to specs. So far we've used them for 3 orders and all but one were perfect the first go round. We tried to use the first order but, because of the stones natural variances in densities, the sandblasting they did to give it a rough face didn't look too good- had a lot of streaks and ridges. They did correct the problem quickly by replacing the pieces FOC and getting us a way better looking end product. After that hiccup we ordered again and again, each time they were quick and efficient, very customer oriented and as cautious as they could be during this situation. While this epidemic is tragic and all, I'm thankful we found these guys still operating and providing what is an essential service to our company. read more

What a horrible company ‼ as a business owner myself I would never see myself running a business where my employees are being mistreated by the manager that is running the company as well as other employees working there . The way this company deals with situations is very unprofessional and very frustrating due to lack of communication. Trying to get to the owner is like trying to win the lottery !! On Saturday morning I tried to go in at the Wilmette location and the manager Omar was there and mind you it was 6:45 am and they are open at 6 am this guy had the door locked when I tried to go in and ask for a business card and questioned me to let me in . I asked for Gary information and said they weren't allowed to give it out ! I mean he's the owner and dealing with situations I would have thought the owner was the best option to speak to about a manner of discrimination termination. They work you and then get rid of you ! Do not work or do any business with them horrible business!! And the owner needs to pay more attention to what's really going on at the Wilmette location asap!!! The manager Omar needs to have more respect calling people names while working and treating his employees like as if they mean nothing . The front desk person moe is rude and very disrespectful as well he has no respect for people. James the other employee is still working there after the fact he told the manager Omar he will slap the mess out of him in front of his face and he sent him home but didn't obey his commands. Mind you he's white !!! And my husband is of color . Then they called the cops on us when we tried to go get a paper of why he got terminated as if we were going to retaliate!! Already labeling and discriminating someone . My husband was a hard working man and was very grateful to have the opportunity to work here . Until we actually found out how this company is ran. So I worked at the Wilmette location for this company and all I can say is don't work for them .. this is the worst company I've ever worked for..they fired me over fabricated lies in other words wrongful termination and discrimination and yes I'm black .. when the other co worker literally threatened the manager to his face and disobeyed an order and his name is James and yes he is white so it makes sense. I didn't know racism still existed ... the thing is I have proof but since I was only their not even for 3 months theirs no point of a lawsuit so since I can't get my rightful justice I'll just let the world know the truth.. I'll start off with Omar. He's the lead of the yard .. he's disrespectful he doesn't know how to talk to people and unprofessional every employee has had a problem with him their just to scared to say anything because their afraid of losing their jobs .. which I totally understand but I don't know how he still has his job .. then we have brain he's a 2 faced person he acts like he's about respect but he's the complete opposite I don't know how the owner Gary has these people running his company .. then we have moe .. he thinks he knows everything I call him Mr right but in reality he's a fake disrespectful human who is rude and unprofessional .. and yes customers complained about their rudeness . This company is horrible don't work for them trust me . They will smile in your face then terminate you without a reason.. and Gary I don't see how he's not involved with the treatment of his employees.. as an owner I never heard of it .but like Brain said Gary doesn't need to be involved in anything except for running the company.. I've never heard of a boss not being involved with the treatment of his employees . and now the fact I'm looking at their reviews it makes total sense .. I hope I expose this company and from what I've seen I wouldn't be surprised if they were stealing from this company because I've gotten pick sheets that say a pallet of spec mix type n yet I was told to get a pallet of brixment and this happened a few times. something's off with that and to remind you I used to be the lead of inventory at Home Depot so I know my stuff .. I counted inventory for them and numbers were off .. and I was trying to say my side of the story to Gary but everyone kept hiding him no one would give me his contact information not even an email .. what type of dirty business is this .. and can you believe that they had the nerve to call the police on me because I wanted a paper stating why I was terminated ? Terrible experience - The driver delivered us our stone steps and mis-read the width of the drive, and the width of his bobcat and caused considerable damage to our driveway - Gary, the owner came out within the hour to assess the damage and promised he would take care of things and fix all the damage - he then totally ghosted us. He refused to take calls, or respond to written correspondence - more worrying, they have refused to provide insurance details for the accident - BEWARE!!! read more

Not very responsive. Showroom hours state Monday-Saturday. We've tried stopping in mid-morning on a Tuesday and on a Saturday morning and the salesman was unavailable both times. When we stopped in on the Tuesday, another employee was there but couldn't answer any questions on pricing or availability and expected that the salesman should have been there to answer. Doors were locked on Saturday morning. We've tried contacting the salesman via email and phone calls with no luck. Would not trust these guys to be responsive on any project. read more
