Oh and I want to add, I left money in the car unknowingly, and it was in the compartment between the seats. Thank you to everyone at Lake Area Collision, particularly Steve, Shane, and Alexandria. I also was missing a dash button after the body work. I noticed this immediately upon picking up my vehicle. I and was told they would replace it. We called several times regarding this and after 3 months and several calls they refused. While this is just a small cosmetic thing I was annoyed that they would not take the time to fix it. It's pretty obvious to me they had sucked it up in the vacuum. My husband went to the salvage yard and got me a new one free. Lastly, when I picked up my car I had a dead battery which they did charge for me immediately however I also had several low tire pressure lights on. Even after adding air to my tires the sensor did not turn off. It is obvious they had taken my tires off during the body work process but had failed to reset the sensors.

I highly recommend their services.

They told me the number they were calling must have been incorrect and said they left messages, voicemails, etc which wasn't possible because the number they claimed to be calling was a disconnected number, proving they were lying straight to my face about leaving messages. After all this was resolved they hit me with a $3500 quote. I get a call that the work has been completed and get a ride over to their shop (over an hour away) the car wouldn't start and couldn't even be jumped. I leave the car and get another ride back home. They call me a few days later and say they fixed the issue. I go all the way back out there again to pick the car up. After saying they were going to fix the issue on them because it was their mistake, they charged me for the labor. On my way back with the car it stalled out while going 50mph 4 times and was struggling to start back up. The next day the car didn't even start at all. In my attempt to bring the car back to them today it broke down and wouldn't start at all. Bringing it somewhere else seems like the best idea. I will not be coming back and will be letting others know not to go to them. On top of everything they put their oily hands on the cloth of my door card. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND.

(That's what I expected.) But they are so lovely -- so generous and polite and thrifty (if anything they have only ever undercharged me -- like, "we didn't charge you for the additive because it was Audi's fault it leaked out"). They really go above and beyond and I try to map out my mileage so I'll have my oil changed during the summer, after I've driven from CA. Recently I had to turn in my beloved car ("emissions scandal" etc etc) and I spoke to the sales associate about the possibility about buying my new car in Michigan. I had pulled in on a whim and she kept the dealership open late to help me, printing out everything I did not feel like reading on line, because every dealership in the country has run out of brochures (Audi, print more brochures!). I am not the kind of person who loves to buy a new car. And I have an excellent dealership in LA. I am not totally thrilled with Audi as a company. But between my wonderful service department in LA and this excellent dealership here, I am thinking about forgiving Audi for stealing my beloved, beloved diesel from me.
