Sooooo many choices!!! From fresh escargot and live crab to cobia, skate, idiot fish, and oysters; frozen alligator, scallops, anchovies, eel, and fish I'd never even heard of; aisles of spices, snacks, boxed foods, cold drinks, and fresh produce, Tri Ocean is where it's at. They will even remove skin and head from the fresh fish for you at no additional cost. The only thing that made me make a stink face was when the guy behind the fish counter weighed my cobia on a scale without using paper or plastic. The scale was visibly dirty with pieces from prior fish. That was gross. Try it and decide for yourself!

Great place for less common fruits! Got these super fresh rambutans here today. Yummy! Haven't been able to find these since I lived in Florida. Also had lots of other exotic fruits I would like to try. I will be back!

Beltfish stuffed with smaller fish to add weight

Recently purchased beltfish and as I was prepping it to cook, found that they stuffed a different fish inside the cavity of the beltfish to probably add weight and charge higher price. Very dishonest and will not return to shop here.

We picked some butter fish, Norway mackerel and pacific saury by ourselves, and they cleaned for us. But when we got home, they're so different than what we picked, the fishes that we pick the meat is tough, the skin is bright, but what we got they're rotten, the skin is soft like cooked, and the meat is dark. It smells so bad, we still tried to cook one, spit it out right away after try one small bite, and want to throw up. I talked to a gentleman, he just said next time bring the fish back, I said I would like to talk to the manager, he just let me wait for responses, but no one call me back.

Tri Ocean, you came to my RESCUE yet again with your reasonable pricing of LIVE SEAFOOD, in this case the LIVE CRABS. Was here on Saturday December 10th 2011, in order to purchase LIVE CRABs for a PARTY of 15, that I am cooking for, the following day. I was scared I could not get any LIVE CRABs for the party on the actual cooking day (SUNDAY) so I head down to Tri Ocean the day before the party. The person, who handle the LIVE CRABS for us, are welcoming and make sure, the LIVE CRABS are "packed" properly to be put in our coolers. He mentioned you are lucky lady coz before that, there are also a HUGE order to purchase LIVE CRABS. We exchange small conversation while at the store. YES, the price was WAY cheaper than other Asian Markets around town that offer LIVE CRABS. Thankfully the CRAB remain ALIVE in the 2 coolers from the Saturday evening till the Sunday morning the following day. All in all, Thank You Tri Ocean. Cant thank you enough. YOU RAWK! @2/2012

One criticism is oftentimes the vegetables like zucchini and garlic don't last very long in the home refrigerator before molding. I did buy fortune cookies once that were very old, stale and cardboard-like inedible.

Never had those before so I thought I'd try it. The zongzi was not the Chinese version and it was not my favorite. The eu-char-koay or youtiao is a deep fried step of dough and theirs wasn't fresh so it was only ok. The crab and crawfish were pickled it seems and they were fine. The corn on the cob included I didn't like. It was fun trying different versions of food I grew up with but not sure I'd get them again. This store has a lot of Asian foodstuffs which I haven't been able to find at other stores in the Denver metro area so I like to visit them. Servers were nice and store reminds me of the owns at home. Stuffed with items everywhere.

The prime rib was for my birthday dinner so my husband left his phone number with them. He received a call later that day asking if the prime rib should be fresh or frozen. They wanted to make sure it did not get frozen if it was being used right away. He advised fresh and commented at what good customer service it was to make the distinction. We went together for pick up. The person who helped us when through the entire smoker bundle to show us the contents and then got the rib roast. Everything was well packaged and arranged. Even though it was the Friday before a religious holiday, and many folks were picking things up, it did not take long for us to get our order, pay and be on our way. The meats we have received both on this order and in the past have always been high quality. Edwards is an excellent butcher shop.
