The people at tri delta transit are all wonderful and the whole team of drivers and people working at the office. They bring a critical and positive spirit to the community by getting them to activity's and getting the working class to and from work! They offer a wide variety of different services I myself have been riding the bus since I was in middle school and tri delta transit has never failed to get me where I need to go! They continue to show up day after day and that kind of dedication is hard to find now a days. I miss having the free WiFi and the website but that's okay they just had a major change and it will take some time to adjust back to offering all the stuff they did before! read more

The lack of routes along Sand Creek Rd is frustrating to say the least. Leaving from Walmart on Lone Tree Way around (7ish at night) to get home on Minnesota Ave means catching the 380 to ANTIOCH BART..... and transferring to the 391 for a total of almost TWO HOURS on the bus. Only to then have to walk an extra 30 - 45 minutes to get home because the 391 only stops through Brentwood Blvd WHY?? Why is the 391 the ONLY bus route for those who live along Sand Creek Rd. ESPECIALLY at night. I believe the 385 runs through Sand Creek and Fairview however that line's hours are far and few between and limited to only the day. Tri Delta totally neglects the central area of Brentwood and I am confused as to why. Nothing convenient about this bus company. read more

They just cut off express service from Antioch bart to streets of brentwood shopping center using 1 bus. Now it takes way to long and you have to take atleast 2 buses. You have to go to downtown Brentwood first and then transfer to another bus. I use their Paratransit service. I think it's a great deal, for only $2.75 they take you door-to-door anywhere within their service area. There have been some scheduling hiccups, certainly understandable given the service they provide. All of the drivers that I have dealt with -- and honestly everyone behind-the-scenes as well -- have been extremely friendly and helpful wherever possible. Be prepared to have to be very flexible with timing, always better to arrive early and sometimes have to wait a bit for the return ride home. Make sure you have a comfortable place to sit and have your phone charged up to keep you company. They have an app available to keep track of your rides, make reservations and even see how close your bus is to picking you up. read more

I have had nothing but great service and success with them. They might be late from time to time but it's not a big problem. If you've stopped driving like myself it's a great deal read more

Tri Delta Transit - Heading out for a road trip on my friendly Tri Delta Tri My Ride - Public Transportation Near Me - Antioch, California

See all

I scheduled the My Ride at 5:20 at Antioch bart where it told me that I would be picked up in 31 minutes. It picked me up after 6 o'clock. Then it drove past my house and dropped off everyone else and then doubled back to drop me off. I was only a little more than a mile from my pick up point. I could have walked it on 20 minutes if it hadn't been for my leg injury. When this service first started it was only a 20 to 30 minute wait. Now I am getting 45 minute wait times even at 5 in the morning. If there are even rides available and when they are not they provide info for a standard bus that only runs every hour. What started as smart and convenient was to travel has turned into a waste of my time. UBER and LYFT may be 6.00 more expensive but at least they are reliable. read more

Hello I just want to say that a fine young gentleman driving the bus on Friday did a really good job. a young lady was trying to get to work and another bus Past her up and this fine young gentleman operating the bus I believe his name is Robert or Richard let the woman on his bus called his command center and had them hold for her at the next stop . This really made my day good job to the young man with excellent customer service. read more

Oh boy, the Tri Delta Transit. I keep trying to make this work, but I keep failing. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually, then I'll give an extra star or two, but until then......... just yikes. This all started over a year ago. I went on their website to find a route that would take me to the BART station. I don't like driving, and would rather take public transportation as much as possible, that way I can just sit, relax, and read. If you look at one of their route maps, it looks like the bus will make maybe 6-8 total stops, which would be great, nice and fast. However, there are a number of other stops at satellite stations the bus makes, making the trip last way longer than it appears on the map. It's hard to explain. Basically, the map doesn't show all the stops a route makes. It doesn't even show most of them. You have to use a complicated route planner on their main website, that really just looks like a random zig zag of lines. Their site is either terrible, or I'm too dumb to figure it out. If you get off the Pittsburg BART and try to step on the train that takes you to Antioch, good luck. The bus LEAVES about 5 min before the BART train arrives, which means I have to sit around for 30 minutes waiting for the next one. It seems like common sense to align the schedules so the bus arrives just after the BART train does. I had more confusion today. I called the transit service for help, and they told me to use the stop next the Buchanan/Somersville crossing, which is a brief walk from home... sweet! Right? Nope! Turns out, the stop I want is much further up the road, far enough to where it doesn't make sense to say it's by the Buchanan/Somersville crossing. So I waited at the wrong stop this morning before realizing something was wrong. Ended up just driving. Confusing routes, routes with way more stops than the map indicates, schedules that don't make sense for people transferring from BART, and a route advice number that always seems to leave out one detail that makes me late to work as a result. Bus system needs a serious overhaul. read more

Wow..,, So with o oh one car between my fiancée and I, I take public transportation a lot. I work in town whereas she has to commute, and lyft is just getting ridiculously expensive. Now I normally don't mind, bus drivers are enerally nice or indifferent and I never take it personally. Today I got on a completely empty bus, almost got drove past bc I was the o lay one at the bus stop, she didn't even fully pull into the stop but sat in the middle of the road, then processed to yell at me for not having my money already out and not waving her down and everything became my fault. Guess she wanted to continue driving her empty bus and get a break but I hadn't even said anything to her yet and it's not my fault I don't want to wait with my money out and you parked in the middle of the street. I'll give the stars to the company bc normally I never have this problem but wow. read more

Tri My Ride should be called Not Your Area. There are so many dead zones with no public transportation in the Tri Delta area, this would have been a great way to fix that, but no it's not. It's only for the rich who live in the million dollar homes. I downloaded this app and was immediately told it didn't service my area. I see so many empty Trymyride buses at the Pittsburg Bay Point BART and wonder why they can't service my area. read more

Not the greatest transit system by a long shot. I have been passed up by a bus on multiple occasions, I have waited an hour and a half at stops. The times on the bus schedule and the real time often times don't match up. If you are using the system you have to plan at least an hour and a half to two hours for you ride or else you Will be late and since the buses run once every hour expect to be disappointed. Also good luck trying to transfer to a different bus. you will get off one bus that you waited an hour for just to do it again for the next bus. whoever is in charge of logisitics is not doing the greatest job either. The my ride system is a joke as well seeing as only a select few areas are serviced and it would have been handy for those being inconvenienced by the system. As a daily rider i have done more walking to my destinations than catching rides. Make that make sense. What are my taxes paying for ? City improvements apparently is not a priority in this City. read more

Terrible bus service. I take it 5 days a week, usually out of the 5 days , I end up having to take uber to Bart and I'm late for work at least twice. Bus either doesn't come at all or is more than 15 minutes late. Same in the evening, bus is usually on time , but leaves immediately at antioch Bart, shouldn't they wait a minute or two for Bart passengers to get off train? read more

The thing about the bus is, if you're taking it, you probably don't have a ton of options concerning transportation, and it's your only choice. Otherwise, I would boycott this bus service if I had any other way to get places. About 2 weeks ago I was waiting for the last bus from Martinez Amtrak to Pittsburg BART. I was there 30 minutes prior to it's scheduled time, and waited about 30 minutes after it was supposed to be there for it to come. THE BUS NEVER CAME! So I call Tri Delta to complain and they apologize, tell me that they will look into it and send me a few free day passes. Instead two weeks later I get a letter saying the bus left the Amtrak station 4 minutes after it's scheduled time and they didn't give me any free passes. Is Tri Delta Transit telling me that I'M fucking crazy? I sat at that stop for an hour and watched several County Connection buses come and go and never saw Tri Delta's bus. FUCK TRI DELTA TRANSIT. BUM A RIDE FROM SOMEONE. HITCHHIKE. WALK. AVOID THEM. AND IF YOU HAVE TO RIDE, AT LEAST VANDALIZE THEIR BUSES BECAUSE THEY DESERVE IT. read more

Ok the most unreliable bus transit company!! I thank God Very Much that I have an alternate route to getting to BART because if I didn't, I would have to catch the 389 to BART and wait for hours to get to the stop, and another 20 minutes to actually arriving at the BART Station. Another reason why I avoid this company is because I feel very very sick sitting on the bus with other people who have very poor hygene. Yuck!!!! read more

I'm not a frequent user of public transportation, and it's definitely not my favorite way to get home from work, but we're a one car family at the moment. Yes, the bus ride is long, and the wait times can be even longer, but all the drivers I have met have been polite and knowledgeable. The reason for my rave review is I took the 387 home on Friday, and unknowingly left my wallet on the bus. Having discovered this the next day, I was frantic. I had important documents, cash, credit cards...You name it, it was in there. Today, I called their customer service, and someone had found it and turned it in! Whew! I went to the office to collect my wallet and everyone was polite and helpful, and my wallet was intact and nothing was missing, something I greatly appreciate :) Thanks so much Tri Delta! read more

The drivers are usually very nice, but their service is unreliable and almost always come late to stops, which is especially nerve wracking when you are in a shady part of Downtown Antioch. They also don't have very many stops and don't go very many places for what you pay for. Recommended only if going between BART and the Park-n-ride. They always come on time to those places and the buses are great. read more

This bus system is so terrible. The drivers are way to scary, o was on the 387 going eastbound and the driver was going 15-20 on a 40 mph road and not to mention the buses run every hour and take about an hour just to get somewhere that takes about a 10 minute drive and the buses halt way to much. This is not a good bus system. read more

Tri Delta Transit is a decent bus service it has some very nice sweet female drivers and nice male drivers. The bus is getting better on being on time this is a good thing. about the most poorest run bus system in California!!!! today, the bus was 45 minutes late!!! they said it was a traffic issue...really....we don't have traffic like san Francisco, and their buses never are that slow, then a driver got all disappointed and gave me a dirty look, I got stuck in line last and asked, are you sure I wanted his bus...im in a wheelchair. then when I got to bart, the 201 for concord was late getting to the bart...it gets better, my wheelchair flipped over because the driver came too close for the lift for me to board....my wheelchair flipped over into the dirt, and the driver just sat there and stared at me, 2 passengers helped me. once the a driver was complaining to me that she didn't get paid enough to crouch down to fasten my wheelchair in place.... so I stand corrected.... Nice drivers? Uh, yeah right. I took Tri Delta Transit for about 8 years and am glad to be in a car polluting our Earth. Drivers are rude, it takes about 2 hours to get from Antioch to the Pittsburg BART station, busses are crammed, people smell, and the seats are uncomfortable. One evening I was taking the bus home and was sitting toward the back. The bus driver followed his route behind Safeway in Antioch and suddenly stopped the bus. I was the only person on the bus at this point....suddenly, he shuts off the lights and I can see his silhouette walking toward me. He has his PENIS out and is holding a bucket....in other words, he didn't realize I was on his bus and was getting ready to pee in his bucket (I guess they're quite strict with bathroom breaks at Tri Delta or its one of his fetishes?!) so as he is walking toward me, and I am sitting there confused in the dark, I go, "Uhh...hello?!" and he goes, "Oh shit! I didn't know you was on here!" and hurries back to the front, turns on the light, and starts up the bus. I got off at the stop near my house and walked home, traumatized but laughing nonetheless. If you absolutely must take the bus, I feel sorry for you. I am just glad I'm in a position to not have to depend on them anymore. The 300 BART-only bus in the mornings that goes from Hillcrest straight to BART is fine if you are heading to work, but good luck trying to take it back from the BART station. read more

If they don't bother, we cannot make them stop drinking in the bus!!!!.... really??.... so, not only can smoke and drink on the bus stop, now they allow them to do it inside the bus, well actually is not the firs time I see some one drinking and dumping the can inside the bus, and really bothers the smell of beer and that the drivers may concern more of a loud music on your phone than pick up drunk people with the beer can on a brown paper on the bus stop, isn't ridiculous you got to put up with a dirty stinky bus and a rude bus driver and now add that!!!!.... I will accept that a few bus driver's are really professional and polite.... read more

I don't take the 300 often and now I remember why. I encountered a level of customer service that I couldn't believe. I was running to the bus as it was still parked with the door open. A lady was sitting facing the driver and I had just made it to the end of the bus when I heard the lady say there's a lady right there. I got right to the door and he shut it literally in my face! I tapped the door and asked are going to open the door? He just looked at me then he just started to slowly drive off. I said are you kidding me? I'm right here. The lady said OMG, I can't believe he just did that to you. This was the 4:40pm bus today, August 19, 2015. Wow, that is not a good public servant! read more

Good and polite drivers but they are waaay too patient with some riders. Every passenger does not need step by step directions to wherever they are going- tell em to grab one of the 100 maps/schedules right in front and get driving! Some of the stops are right across the street from other stops- why??? read more

Tri Delta Bus in Antioch. I'm on the 300 bus at 6:20 in morning. Now there's a set time the buses are suppose to leave each station . The bus driver wait for the 390 bus which arrive late almost everyday. Which make us arrive at Bart late. Missing the train. It's not fair that people arrive early to make the bus and Tri Delta allows the 300 to be late leaving because it's waiting on another late bus. read more

The only time that I use tri-delta is when I'm on the 300. I think the price has gone up to $3 I think (but it's $1.50 with bart transfer pass). The 300 is an awesome alternative to driving. from Brentwood Park-n-ride it can take up to an hour to get to bart if passengers get on along hwy 4, but it's a short ride to bart from Antioch. Other routes can be lengthy rides, but if there's somewhere you gotta be most likely tri-delta can get you there. Just make sure to get to the stop a little early so the driver doesn't pass you up. The 300 gets 5 stars all by itself :) read more

You know it'd be nice if the bus drivers actually followed their schedule and learn how to arrive to a bus stop ON TIME instead 10-15 mins. later. Not to mention that some of the drivers taking personal stops to get food or to talk to their friends on the phone while the passengers are left unattended. To make things even worse, some of the drivers would skip some of the stops that are part of their route and they would try to convince you that the stops aren't on their route anymore despite the drivers who have the same route and would actually stop. Another problem is that you always have to wait almost an hour for the next bus if you miss your main one so have fun waiting at the bus stop while your legs are fucking aching. Even San Francisco's bus services are better than tridelta because the drivers actually KNOW HOW TO DO THEIR JOBS. sure they don't care if you pay or not but I still consider them better than half ass tridelta. I've been taking these buses ever since 6th grade and now I'm a senior in high school and I've already had 2 truency meetings for being late all the time all because of these pricks being late themselves. So thank you Tridelta Transit. If you're intention is to fuck me over and cost me my graduation, then you're doing a perfectly great job at BEING A FUCKING LET DOWN. read more

I ride the 300 express from Hillcrest Park and Ride in the morning at 5:08, the driver is always late and gets us to the Bart station just in time to miss the 5:32am train but 13 minutes early so we get to wait around in the cold. She doesn't care she always takes the back roads like she' giving a tour of section 8 Antioch. We don't need a tour of this crappy city, just get on the highway and drive us to the Bart station. Their attitude is if you have to ride a bus too bad......get a car and drive. Do yourself a favor ride the 93X to Walnut Creek, it takes a little longer but their buses don't break down and their not full of low life Oakland workers trying to get to their $10 an hour jobs. The old saying is correct, you get what you pay for and in this instance you get even less. read more

I used to live in Fremont and San Francisco. The Fremont bus drivers didn't play around. The San Francisco bus drivers didn't play around. You break one rule, you get a warning. You mess up again, you're off. No exceptions. Oh, you're 10 miles from home? Too bad. Act right and you won't get kicked off the bus. I move out here and the bus drivers seem to be the same ilk of people that would get kicked off the bus for doing stupid things. The first bus driver I had, I swear was favoring her own race (and no I won't mention what race). I said hello to her and she gave me this "mmm hmmm" expression and said nothing. Every person that got on the bus that was her race she greeted warmly. Any other race, nope. The next incident I had with this bus driver was when she told me I wasn't visible enough. The bus stop is underneath a streetlight, which I was standing right under. I told her that I was visible and that she needs to pay attention more, which I don't think she liked. The NEXT incident was when she screamed at me for no reason. The bus stops right in front of me and I am about to step on when the woman screamed at me, telling me to wait, that there was a woman in a wheelchair about to get off. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT? All she had to say was "hold on a sec, sir; we have someone in a wheelchair about to get off." No problem! But no. "EXCUSE ME!!! Can't you see there is someone in a wheelchair trying to get off the bus?" ...No, I couldn't see that, because I don't have X-Ray vision. The second driver I had a problem with was simply too lenient with some of the passengers. There was a group of kids on the bus one day. They threw an unwrapped CONDOM at me. I immediately told the bus driver and all she said was "I know, I have been watching them." SOOO....that means these kids were being inappropriate before I even got on the bus. Two other people chimed in, saying that the driver should kick the kids off the bus. She wouldn't though. The kids started getting "fresh" with us adults on the bus and we pretty much had to shut them down by telling them to "grow up", something teenagers hate hearing because they believe they are. They got silent real quick. They need to tell their bus drivers to grow a pair when it comes to nuisances on the bus. Don't be afraid. Pull on over and tell em to get off. If they don't, threaten to call the police. I don't mind being late for work to see a moron get kicked off the bus. read more
