The guy at the register wasn't welcoming. He interrogated me as if I was in the wrong place or store. I usually walk in a store without being questioned of why I am there. Especially if there is a possibility of me being a new customer and me spending my money. I felt that I was racially profiled and if not my skin color, my hair was an issue (I have locs). I garden and saw some vegetables on display outside and thought I had found a new store to shop in so I stopped. The guys there weren't friendly and in every aisle sat a man in a chair surrounding the register. When i went down the aisle, the gentleman at the register stood there with me but spoke as if I wasn't in the right place and seemed to usher me right back out the door. Needless to say I spoke to the owner and he was apologetic but to judge me before I even walk in the door is ridiculous. I do wish them well but would advise anyone that has any color to their skin tone to not patronize this place. read more
