We recently hired Affordable Drain to do some work others told us was "as good as it was going to…read moreget (water pressure)." We now have great water pressure because of Mr. Townsend. Not only was he knowledgable, he was prompt. If he said he would be here a certain time, he was (almost unheard of today!). We are blessed to not only have a reliable plumber now, but a new friend! Thanks Traye, Adam, and crew! Pat
We give Affordable Drain the highest marks. They are skilled in their work, friendly, honest, and will save you money if they can. Any time we have plumbing issues, we will definitely call on them. Tommy
Please allow me be one of the first to acknowledge here the existence of a crucial plumbing movement in upper East Tennessee. It's boiling, it's alive, it's teeming with possibility like a pond full of mosquito larvae. The plumbing phone is ringing, and it's for all of us. To any critics out there who may ask if the Affordable Drain team has rejected outright the notion of "real plumbing," I suggest you see the fine work they did on our property.
There's more to Affordable Drain than plumbing for plumbing's sake. Furthermore, I say this from the very depths of my soul; the new techniques are not ignored, but blended with a healthy dose of the history of plumbing, and what is served hot out of this oven may be surprising to the palate, and to some, distasteful, revolting, and vomit-inducing. To some, it may be a triumph, and to others, a rousing defeat, but at the end of the day, it is plumbing, and it only makes sense when delivered by artisans.
While working on our water pressure problem, Affordable Drain demonstrated various aspects of this historic experiment, and I have a sneaking suspicion that something of genuine, long-lasting importance is about to burst forth like a garden spider's egg sac, and no less prolific. Something, perhaps, which will suggest a new approach to plumbing in general, and may be recognized many, many, many years from now (maybe after we're all dead) as the dawn of a new age of plumbing. I only present this speculation as a possibility; but if the possibility is there, and I am certain that it is, these rock stars of water pressure should be encouraged and funded, and their work should be brought to the attention of the entire world.
But the most important point, which I think Affordable Drain perfectly presents, is that they have proven without a doubt that the essence of plumbing has not been lost. I know of few other recent examples of such dedication to perfection and aplomb and poise, of so much vitality and pointed articulation, so few restraints and restrictions. It is difficult to conceive of experts more at home in this climate than the staff of Affordable Drain.
If you are new to plumbing problems, you will quickly learn that these plumbers have worked together for a long time and are used to each other. They operate on a higher frequency that would be difficult, if not impossible, to reproduce in any other setting.
It is therefore logical that a group working together over such a long period of time reaches a pinnacle of excellence and polish; in the case of Affordable Drain, such polish by no means eliminates the element of surprise, the sudden wave of inspired brainstorms that lead to often inspired results. Here, these "brainstorms" are sometimes completely fleshed out on the spot by these gurus of modern plumbing and brought to full life after only a few moments of violent gestation.
There is much, then, to appreciate from Affordable Drain: timing, skill, techniques that show style in the planning and execution, but most of all, as I have attempted to make clear, continuity. When you have had your fill of modern plumbing, simply turn to Affordable Drain and watch them careen toward their sudden, yet inevitable conclusions. This is plumbing of a rare order, and a most generally acceptable kind of plumbing it is. The world may or may not be ready for Affordable Drain, but here they come anyway. Hang on to your hats and glasses. Keep your hands and arms inside the vehicle at all times, 'cause this here's the wildest ride in the drainage wilderness. Jt
