On our way home from Prospect Heights to Wheaton, we Yelp searched for "Italian Restaurants Near Me." Trezeros came up on the Search with good reviews. We were so happy with our lunch experience. The food was better than other Italian restaurants we have ate at. Service was great. Full disclosure. It was a Saturday late lunch and the place was basically empty. Our server started us off with a small loaf of warm Italian bread. Dipping sauce was olive oil with spices and tomatoes. It was heavenly! My husband ordered the Vodka Rigatoni with small asparagus pieces. He said it was better tasting than my homemade Vodka Rigatoni! And he was right! I ordered the Eggplant Salad. What a showstopper it is! It tasted as good as.it looked. The fried eggplant was sliced thin, breaded and fried. The salad included mixed greens, mozzarella slices and tomatoes. Wife and I finally decided to comeback to this place after a few years, our first experience wasn't great. The place was crowded, but we got seated right away. First point the waitress was very nice. First came The bread which was very good, then we ordered the mussels, average garlic sauce awful mussels, way too small And overcooked! You could barely see the mussels inside the shells. I ordered a Braciole and my wife ordered Veal Saltimbocca. We waited about 45 minutes for the food to come, my braciole was flavorless the stuffing didn't taste like anything the meat was tough and tasted boiled, the risotto underneath was Ok, only ate about 1/3 of the braciole, it truly awful. My wife's veal was inedible, very very tough, she couldn't barely cut it! The prosciutto on it was thick and overcooked, disgusting! We told the waitress who was sympathetic, said she would send the manager we never saw him instead she offered free dessert. Moral of the story! We left most of the food on the plates as it was inedible, worse $132.00 I have ever spent, we will not be back, I wouldn't feed that food to a dog! read more

We went for a ladies lunch. Our server was great. Very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Our food was outstanding! There were five different entries and each one was delicious. My chicken piccata came with spaghetti (no red sauce!) What little bit of leftover came home was immediately consumed by my husband. For dessert, we shared a chocolate cheesecake. Delish! The restaurant was previously a popular pizza spot that specialized in peanut shells on the floor. However, thankfully that is no longer the case. Restaurant still has a few booths, but added tables with comfortable chairs. Parking can be a little challenging as their lot is small, but there's street parking and a strip shopping center nearby. read more

This was our first visit to Trezeros Kitchen, and I guarantee it won't be our last. Despite living less than 15 minutes away for over 40 years, we are not sure why we hadn't tried your restaurant sooner. We were impressed to be greeted and seated immediately upon arrival, even before our scheduled reservation time on Mother's Day. Our server, John, was delightfully funny and attentive throughout the meal. The food exceeded our expectations. We shared the arancini appetizer, which was excellent. For our main courses, I ordered the veal saltimbocca, served hot with delicious mushroom gravy, and my husband enjoyed the cavatelli with vodka sauce. Both entrees were outstanding, and the portions were so generous that we took half home. We also made sure to save room for the apple crisp with caramel ice cream, which was fantastic. We look forward to returning with our family soon. we had a really great experience here! i've seen this place recommended on the local pages and had to come check it out for mother's day. ambiance is really nice! casual but fancy and food presentation was perfect for mother's day ! the staff is friendly but service was a little slow. -goat cheese appetizer was so good! the garlic bread that accompanied it was one of our favorites -eggplant salad was my most favorite dish! the flavor was spot on with crunchy coated eggplant and the sweet glaze of the the dressing. i would get this again -chicken parmesan was my least favorite. the flavor was not great and the cut of chicken was a little fatty -grilled seafood appetizer was really good -pecan halibut was good, not amazing but the mashed potato that accompanied it was excellent! i will definitely come back to try the other items out! great place to dine for a "fancier" outing on mt prospect! read more

We started with a cocktail. They give you a generous drink; see photo. Then, we decided on appetizers. I chose the "Colossal Meatball" Marinara Sauce shavings of Parm. My friend ordered "Stracciatella Cheese Dip," made with mozzarella cheese, balsamic, honey, and olive oil, with toast points drizzled with olive oil and shredded parmesan. They were both delicious. For the entrees, I ordered the Chicken Parm Sandwich on soft and chewy warm Italian Bread with crispy fries; it could have been a little thicker. My friend ordered the Steak Sandwich on warm Italian Bread; she gave me a taste, and I thought it was perfect. For dessert, we shared an Apple Crisp with Ice Cream drizzled with Caramel Sauce; it was too much for one person, so it was best shared. They genuinely wanted to understand what happened and how they could make it right. Their professionalism and willingness to address the issue truly impressed me. I've since returned, and I'm happy to say the food is just as great as everyone says. Everything was delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. You can never go wrong at Trezeros! My family and I go Trezero's when we have something to celebrate. We also order catering for events at home. Food is always good no matter what you pick. My faves are chicken vesuvio and cioppino (seafood). Service is attentive and friendly. Sometimes, the owner stops by your table and asks how things are going. Ambience is relaxed and gives off a "neighborhood" vibe. The place is clean and has a room available for a group of 30-50 people. Reservations are recommended for dinner and weekends. I have been to your restaurant several times and wanted to take my husband here. We were in the area for a concert so it was the perfect opportunity. Service was good food was average to disappointing. I mentioned to our waiter that my husband was very disappointed with his meal. The response I received was that we didn't mention it soon enough. Tried this place out for the first time yesterday and was impressed! Service was great, and I especially enjoyed the ambience of the place as a whole. Definitely seems like a good date spot, which will probably be what I do next time I go there! I ordered the gnocchi, which was cooked very nicely and tasted great, along with the generous portion sizes. The menu is very large and has enough options for everyone, and I was seriously impressed by the diversity in the menu. I ate at Trezeros for the first time today, and all I can say is YUM!! I ordered the crab al fresco off the specials list, and it was delicious (I would have liked a bit more crab, though). Our server suggested the Christmas cookie gelato for dessert, so I decided to give it a try. It was magical! The gelato was super creamy and the flavor was perfect. The atmosphere was nice, too. My party of 7 was in the smaller room, and although there were a couple of other tables in the area, they were spaced well and I heard no sound from the other parties. Perfect summer dining experience! The food was delicious, waitress was attentive and there was a perfect evening breeze on the patio. Price reasonable, Service good, slightly on the slow side, easily 5 stars if a little more attentive service. Adequate parking and a very nice atmosphere, excellent location. 15 minutes to All Saints cemetery. I would absolutely recommend this place for an event or banquet. Upon walking in i was greeted and seated immediately by our hostess. The food menu and specials for the day here are very creative. I asked our waitress Lainie for multiple recommendations on food and wine and she was great. On Fridays they offer $5 dollar margaritas, which i decided on going with. The decor of this place was great and the bar area is beautifully set up. For appetizer me and my friend did the bang shrimp that was lightly battered and cooked to perfection. It came with a Cajun aioli sauce on top that complimented the shrimp and gave it a nice kick. For my entree i went with the prime rib ravioli in a marsala sauce that was magnificent. My only complain was that the sauce was a little to salty for my palate, but other then that it was amazing. My friend went with the lobster ravioli and that by far was out of this world. I really enjoyed myself and glad i picked this place. Everything was great down to our waitress. The hostess was also great and sweet. I can't rave enough about this place and highly recommend it.
