Breakfast Buffet review. I was here for the Breakfast buffet on a Monday morning. The place had a decent amount of people in it, and we were seated after waiting in a short line at a table. The breakfast buffet has pretty much all the staples you can think of: an omelette station, bacon, sausage, pancakes, muffins, etc. So just a few notes on the food. The omelette was good, maybe a bit too eggy for me (the egg to cheese ratio was off). Try the Bourbon Maple Syrup for the pancakes. The chocolate muffins are amazing. Overall, the food was really tasty; although I wish there was more options (waffles, zeppoles, an x-factor to make it stand out). The staff were very friendly, and clearly trained to do a solid job. My drinks were constantly refilled, and whenever I left an empty plate on the table, it was pretty quickly cleaned out of my way. Trevi's for breakfast was very open and spread out. Even though there was a good amount of people in the restaurant, I never felt like anyone was on top of me, or it was crowded. There was a lot of personal, and open space, which is fantastic. Price is obviously a bit on the more expensive side; yet you are paying for quality of food, service, and atmosphere. This is a nice breakfast buffet, and I'd highly recommend it. Prosciutto Crostini with melon and fig - Smooth textures mixed with sweet and savory tastes wonderful for the upcoming sunny Florida days. Each bite will keep you coming back for more. Grilled Artichoke Crostini with olive tapenade and goat cheese - Personally it would not be my first choice, but it is healthy and tasty as the flavors balance once another. Shrimp and Tomato Crostini with parmesan and aged balsamic - Fresh shrimp with the smooth texture of parmesan and tart yet sweet flavors of the balsamic. Porcini Ravioli, Lobster, Madeira Cream - Fresh lobster on top of delicious porcini ravioli. The flavors are all balanced and everything was cooked to perfection. Beef Tartare with quail egg, capers, and white truffle mustard aioli - The beef tartare and quail egg both have a smooth texture. The white truffle mustard aioli is added to elevate the flavors of this antipasti. Snapper Crudo with tomato, basil and citrus - This is the best snapper crudo I have had. Fresh with a citrus twist and full of lean protein. I highly recommend this dish at Trevi's. If you were to visit Trevi's Restaurant solely for this dish, it would be worth it. Semolina Dusted Calamari with spicy tomato sauce - Arrives at the table right as it was placed on the dish. It is more salty than the usual calamari I have had, but it won't negatively impact your impression unless you are on a low sodium diet. It is tasty with or without the spicy tomato sauce. Caprese with heirloom tomato and aged balsamic topped with Burrata with extra virgin oil and smoked sea salt - You can never go wrong with some creamy burrata balanced by the crispy heirloom tomato, crunchy salt and coarse pepper. Burrata is a fresh Italian cheese made from mozzarella and cream. The outer shell is solid mozzarella, while the inside contains stracciatella and cream, giving it an unusual, soft texture. Along with other dishes at Trevi's, there's a play on a number of flavors in this dish. Pizza Napolitana with fontina, spicy sausage and caramelized onion - The crust is crusty and fontina is delightful. The sausage is not spicy as they say it is. Chicken Diangelo with artichoke, red pepper and lemon wine sauce - The chicken is dry regardless of the sauce. The pasta is overcooked and mushy in texture. Goat Cheese Polenta - A gourmet comfort food that is creamy and great for a windy day. I could use a bowl right now as I write this post. Charred Broccolini - Fresh vegetables made crisp with a bit of char. Baby Meatballs - Flavorful meatballs that fall apart upon touch or placed into the mouth. Many will love the crumbly and soft texture, yet I prefer a more dense nature to my meatballs. Warm Zeppolis with chocolate sauce - Doughnuts topped with powdered sugar and a dense bread-like texture. Warm and sweet, but a tad dry. Affogato with vanilla bean gelato - A scoop of vanilla bean gelato topped with a shot of hot espresso. What is better than ice cream and espresso? Nothing. It is smooth and sweet with a touch of caffeine. If only this was a large portion and on ice. read more

Highly recommend! Super authentic with everything being made fresh to order in-house including the burrata and pasta handmade to order. Would highly recommend to eat here. My favorite was the 4 cheese Gnocchi. Also ordered the Carbonara-this is authentic so there is more of an egg taste vs cheese. Would not order if your not a fan of overpowering egg flavor. I am a guest at the Omni and had a 9:45 pm reservation. I am mobility impaired and got lost on my way to the restaurant. A gentleman that worked at the hotel redirected, but I arrived late. Upon arrival I was told the restaurant was closed! So what would have happened if I showed up on time, would they have been closed then too? The hostess was rude and unapologetic. read more

The pasta was too dry and undercooked, even though the server said he will get the vegetarian option made for us but it came out too quick for a dish to be made for a special request order. I could tell that the pasta has been picked from the buffet, very chewy. read more

I am giving it a one star for one reason only! Sammy our waiter was great. A great guy who made our time there pleasant and was on top of everything and beyond. For a restaurant being in a high end hotel you would think they would have a good restaurant. The food was terrible, I had their what they call lasagna, it was dry with just a pile of noodles on top of each other with a blob of cheese melted on top. Hamburger helper from a box at home would have scored a 5 star! I'd tell you to go just for Sammy but he can only do so much! read more

Trevi's is great for breakfast, but Lord Jesus, it's expensive!! The buffet for 2 adults and a small child totaled $82.00. No mimosas or any alcohol included. Great service though. I'm giving it 3 stars because it's way too expensive. Come on Omni. They charge $169+/night for a room $30 for valet parking, $18.00 for self park and a whole bunch of junk fees. Plus they allow dogs in the hotel. The dogs in itself change the atmosphere of the hotel and in many ways, diminishes the quality. Nonetheless, the prices in the restaurant should be a bit more reasonable. Lastly, I'd like to know why hotels charge a arm and a leg for parking when they own the lot? It doesn't make sense to me. Nevertheless, Trevi's is good. The servers are nice and the restaurant appears to be clean. It would be unfair to suggest that you don't visit. Just know that you may have hefty bill on the other side. read more

Even though one might think that it's a bit on the pricey side for the breakfast buffet but IMO it's worth the money. I opt for it every time I stay at the Omni Resort! They have everything your hungry belly could wish for . Love the omlette station that offers a variety of ingredients. The assortment of jelly is overwhelming and so good ! .... Try the citrus & whiskey (yup not too early to have a little "kick" in your breakfast! Trevi's is an Italian restaurant at the Omni Orlando Resort. During my stay at the Omni I dined at Trevi's twice (breakfast and lunch). The food is ok for hotel food. Nothing special, but the restaurant is on site so I returned for the convenience since I was on a business trip and didn't have time to eat outside of the hotel. While the menu is slightly overpriced for the quality of the food most items on the menu are under $30. For lunch I had a Greek salad and my boss had the steak salad. The salads were fine, but the highlight of our meal was the roasted garlic clove they served with the bread. I'm avoiding carbs, but how can I say no to roasted garlic?!?! Warning: Stop by the hostess stand for mints after your meal because you will have horrible dragon breath after consuming too much of the awesome roasted garlic! The following day we had breakfast at Trevi's. My boss went with the breakfast buffet at a whopping $22 per person. I knew I wouldn't get my money's worth so I ordered the Italian fritatta for $14. The fritatta was HUGE! I did have to wait a bit longer for my food to arrive so if you are in a hurry and have a bit of an appetite the buffet is the way to go. If you are looking for dining options at the Omni Resort I would try Trevi's. If you are looking for a fantastic meal I would dine outside the resort. read more

I ordered the argula salad and salmon with Farrow and mushroom ragout. Yes salad was way too salty, I mean SALTY. The waiter asked me how it was and I told him it way SALTY. Now to the good part. The salmon with faro and mushroom was good. Although the salmon was a bit overdone the ragout gave it good moisture. The faro and ragout was very good. Now to be nitpicky. This is a pretty nice hotel. If you tell your waiter the salad is too SALTY and I ate only a little because it was too SALTY, what do most customer oriented places do? Yes, take it off the bill. Not here, a major pet peeve for me. Although the service is friendly, it doesn't meet the standard for the rest of the hotel. read more

The worst food ever . There was a bug in one of a dishes , didn't have what we order , so half our family didn't get together , simply Caesar salad that was supposed to be made with anchovy dressing clearly was disgusting and not made with anchovy dressing. Went to dinner with my family the waiter started off the night great food and drinks where amazing the waiter went out of his way to make a few of the drinks possible since they didn't have the ingredients. Amazing! The Chef Jonathon stopped by to check in once we had our food to make sure it was good which it was all amazing my daughters wanted to thank him for the great food and made him cards which we gave to the waiter to give to him he came back out to thank the girls and chatted with them for a while absolutely amazing evening thank you to all. I've done both breakfast and dinner here, and for hotel food it is on the higher end of quality. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which had a good amount of local options, and really was a step above your basic egg, bacon, sausage, pancake buffet. They had the omelet station going, always a crowd pleaser. During our visit they also had a good assortment of bread and a multitude of options for honey and jelly. It is on the pricey side, but sometimes they include it when you book if you catch a special. On the dinner side of things, they have your basic Italian choices. Several pasta dishes, chicken parmigiana, and a few seafood options. I enjoyed the chicken parmigiana, it was well executed, had a nice crispy layer of cheese, and the pasta that came with it was cooked well. They have outdoor seating as well, and in the evening that was nice. Overall, a solid choice if you are at the hotel with no transportation elsewhere. read more

Absolutely the best place we've eaten on our vacation. When we first came downstairs right at 5:00 we figured we wouldn't get a table because we searched online and it said no reservations available. Plus the hotel was at capacity. We approached the hostess stand and they immediately put tables together for our family of 6 despite an impending full house. Hats off to the hostess stand. Our server AJ was on point. He recommended two delicious dishes that my husband and I both enjoyed thoroughly. Pasta de frutti and the sausage & peppers rigatoni. He also recommended the bome-in ribeye but we can only conquer one meal each! Lol! Dirk was the other server with AJ this evening and they kept on top of drink refills and any other requests by our table. I can't explain to you how important it is for servers to keep on top of things when we are out with our kids. It makes life soooo much easier when we don't have to keep asking for things. I must tell you this, my husband and I were on the fence about this hotel until our encounter with this restaurant. Now, we're considering a return next month (we live in Missouri). Well I'm surprised. I came for a quick lunch... Which in a big hotel isn't usually something to look forward to. I'm sure they are used to churning out food for large parties, families and conference goers alike. So when I sat and ordered a pepperoni flatbread, I felt like I was playing it safe... Because it isn't easy to mess up pizza. What I wasn't expecting was a flavorful, crisp, reminiscent of Italy, diavola style pizza--with fresh herbs! It's ok, I was happy with my lunch. Lunch menu was a little limited but it looks like it allows them to execute those dishes extremely well.

Each of these stars goes directly to Bryon. He was extremely charismatic, helpful, and went above and beyond! He truly makes you feel like a VIP when dining here and staying at the hotel. His dedication and attention to detail is something that all of those who work there and in general everyone should strive towards. Food is pretty good too would rather eat here than David's while staying at Omni however a majority of that reason is because of Bryon. This is a hotel restaurant, located at the Omni Hotel & Resort at ChampionsGate, FL. It was the only sit down place open for lunch at the hotel. The other option was the poolside bar/restaurant. The 2 main restaurants are closed and open for dinner. I ordered a chicken soup which was a 2-star dish, reminiscent of a chicken soup from a can. Best breakfast buffet by miles. Food is super fresh. So many options. You know it is a good buffet when they have multiple local honeys, fresh breads and actual berries (and not just melons). Service is top notch. They even provide a to go box so we can snack on fruit poolside. It is Four Seasons white glove service at the Omni. We love Alice and her fresh sauces and the pride she takes with all our her cooking. We Stay at the Omni every year and dine at Trevis. We are always impressed. read more

We went here for a mothers day buffet and the selection was wonderful.there was buffet tables inside and on the terrace. Know matter what you want they had it.The desserts were very creative. They had little cakes that looked like flower pots and tasted like oreo cookies. They said they are thinking of having brunch every week end. I hope they do. Dinner @ Trevi's during a stay for a work conference. Thought this place is a gem among many of the hotel restaurants I've dined at. Very friendly and efficient service, reasonable prices for food and wine, and a good variety of selection. The fresh olive bread as a starter was delicious. An pesto dip and herbed butter were really nice. Our table had an appetizer of fried calamari, which was a generous portion for 3-4 people. They also offer family portions, and I imagine it would have fed plenty of people. I enjoyed an Arugula salad simply prepared with tomato, shaved Parmesan and olive oil. For an entree, local gulf shrimp were featured in a Cioppino which I ordered. It was delicious, with mussels, clams, lobster, fish and of course the gulf shrimp. The service was not all that great. Had to ask for silverware and had to go find out own napkins. For what you pay you would expect the service to be better. Disappointed. Trevi's is interesting as it's a hotel restaurant but when you enter, it feels like a whole different place. Nice decor, nice lighting, and decent to fair seating. The chairs were a little low so I felt like the table was too high. I give this place a three because the service was outstanding, but the food just lacked. Our waiter was kind, nice, and suggested lots of different dishes from their menu as well as announced the specials. Food came out quickly, but not to where you feel like you need to rush through the appetizer because your entree is already there. Now for the bad stuff. The food portions are pretty big so I guess it's a bang for your buck thing because this place is super expensive. The food wasn't terrible but it wasn't all that. They offer mozzarella-pesto infused bread as an "snack while you wait." It was really good. We ordered the bruschetta and bread for an appetizer. It was the best part of the meal by far. The entrees were so-so. The deconstructed lasagna dish looked great, but I was fearful my fiancé would burn his hands as the plate emitted a lava after burn from afar. I ordered the mushroom ravioli. It had peas, bacon pieces, and of course the mushroom stuffed ravioli. I felt like the sauce was a little too salty (mix the added bacon pieces and that might have helped.) The mushroom stuffing and pasta (I'm hoping fresh made) were on point. My biggest gripe is MUSIC! Play some in the restaurant softly to add to the atmosphere! It felt very cafeteria like and not like an elegant Italian restaurant which the environment gives that vibe like they are trying to. There was just chatter noise from neighboring tables and it was quite unsettling for no background ambiance. Overall, I wasn't thoroughly impressed with the restaurant. Considering this is an upscale hotel and conference facility, I would expect more quality control. I might dine in the future because of convenience but not as a first choice. read more

Amazing brunch ! The variety is great. You have a variety of deli meats, cheese, fresh fruit, pastries, croissants, breads; etc. The egg station has many veggies, proteins toppings to chose from. I ordered an egg white omelet with spinach, peppers, tomato, jalapeño, etc. I chose no cheese. The inlet was cooled to perfection. Nothing was runny not dry. What I truly loved was that after my eggs were done she prepared a side plate for me with 3 homemade sauces and said since you asked for jalapeño, these are 3 homemade sauces for you to taste. She described every ingredient in each sauce for me and I walked back to my table. Each sauce complimented my omelet equally. However the tomatillo one was my favorite. I ate my inlet and of course head for Something sweet. I chose fresh fruits, mini chocolate croissants, an orange like muffin. The service was outstanding and would definitely go back if I was in Orlando even if I was not staying at the hotel. read more

The incredible breakfast buffet offers a huge variety of food. In addition to the usual oatmeal, yogurt, pancakes, and fresh fruit, there are eggs cooked to order and several kinds of pastries and fresh baked breads. Foodies will enjoy tasting different varieties of honey and jam. I loved the grilled blueberry maple sausage, the buttery biscuits and the savory gravy. Everything is of the highest quality, except perhaps the grits, which I found bland and watery. But I am not a fan of grits. Service is smooth, professional, and friendly without being obtrusive. The dining area and adjoining patio are lovely. I felt like a lady in "Downton Abbey," being waited on by my own personal butler. read more

We went to Trevi's for dinner one night and the staff were absolutely phenomenal! Patti and Bryan helped us get seated and even got us in a little early. Our server Kaelin was so amazing and made sure we were well taken care of! Cameran also made sure we had a fantastic night and server our dessert! The food was excellent and the atmosphere was an awesome vibe. We came back in the morning for breakfast. DawnL was our waitress and was an absolute delight! Both times we went, Trevi's was very quiet, with a nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. 10/10 highly recommend, and we will be back! read more

Stayed at the hotel for a conference and had the breakfast buffet twice, sooo goood!!! The omlette stationis one of the best I've seen! Chef Allie prepared the best egg white omlette with chicken, veggies and cheese, she even brought it to our table when it was ready! Her passion for service and cooking for her guests really got us to come back and eat again! The buffet had a delicious variety of items, in particular the blueberry sausage patties - YUM!!
