If you are an HOA looking for an honest, consistent, and communicative Management organization Trestle Mgt. is NOT for you. We have lived in our planned community for almost 7 years with no issues until Trestle Mgt. was selected by our Board. We have seen RV's, Campers, Commercial Vehicles, and Structures in RV parking areas in the community for the entire duration of being a homeowner. We purchased an RV in August of 2019 and received a violation notice, dated Aug. 08/07/2019 within one week of purchase. The violation stated any homeowner may request permission to keep their RV/Commercial vehicle in one of four places with one of the four places being RV parking area on the side of house with an RV gate. So, we contacted Trestle Mgt. and inquired specifically what was needed in the request to submit to the board and submitted request, via e-mail, same day 08/07/2019. We were not notified of any denial/approval and received another violation Jan. 22, 2020. We contacted Trestle Mgt. again, via e-mail, same day, to inquire about our request sent 08/07/2019 and were told by the Asst. Mgr. to resubmit same request submitted on 08/07/2019 and Trestle Mgt. would submit request to the Board again. Then, on April 10, 2020 we received a courtesy notice to remove our RV from our property. We again contacted Trestle Mgt. to inquire of our request to the board, 9 months prior, that we had not received any notification of denial/approved and have not been fined. The Regional Mgr. requested we send her everything we submitted in Aug of 2019 and again in January of 2020 and stated "I feel horrible you have had to wait this long I will make sure this issue is discussed and a decision reached at the 04/21/2020 meeting." Then 2.5 hours later the Regional Mgr. e-mailed back stating "I just reviewed the minutes from the August 2019 executive session. The board made the decision to deny the variance for RV parking at that meeting which absolutely should have been communicated to you at the time." We acquired the minutes from the August 2019 and October 2019 meetings and there is no evidence, notice, or agenda of an executive session being conducted at either of those open meetings. We are now going on one year, as of 07/06/2020, with no official notice of denial or a vote being conducted. We have taken the stance that they have violated our due process and they are derelict in their duties and we are deeming our request Approved by Default. Then Trestle Mgt. started the barrage of statements back and forth, since April 10, 2020 to the present, of what we deem to be harassment and discrimination. The biggest noted dishonesty attempt was stating our request was actually being considered an appeal to the August 08/07/2019 violation, request sent the same day, which we stated how can it be an appeal if we were never notified of a denial and, according to the Regional Mgr., wasn't even voted on until 08/20/2019. The barrage of insults and dishonest statements have continued to the present day. The major complaint in our community is that Mgt. does not respond to homeowners in any way. Lack of communication is perhaps the biggest sign of HOA management failure. HOA managers who fail to respond to inquiries in a timely manner are managers who are failing at their jobs. Poor communications is one factor that weakens the relationship between an HOA and their management. No homeowner's association should be paying their management company for incompetence and unresponsiveness. Our biggest complaint, as everyone remembers, is April 10, 2020 was in the middle Covid-19 outbreak, the Nationally Declared Emergency, and the Governor's Stay at Home Order, while Trestle Mgt. handed out violation notices to every RV, Camper, or Commercial vehicle in the Project to remove their vehicles from the property while EVERYTHING WAS CLOSED; which clearly indicates Trestle Mgt's complete disregard to Governor's Order and the community values. In our opinion, Trestle Mgt. is insensitive, uncompassionate, and mean spirited. We filed a Formal Complaint against Trestle Mgt. and the HOA on May 03, 2020 regarding the April 10, 2020 blanket violations given out by Trestle Mgt. in the middle of a Pandemic, National State of Emergency, and Governor's Stay at Home Order. This action caused undue financial hardships and stress throughout the community and is still continuing today as is Covid-19. We have had no issues with Mgt. or the HOA board until Trestle Mgt. In our opinion, Trestle Mgt, is incompetent, dishonest, and very abrasive in communications to homeowners and we don't believe they are being truthful of our issue even being voted on; which would mean they have either lied to us of the Executive Session conducted on August 20, 2019 or they violated the Open Meeting Laws by not giving notice, agenda, or any documentation of minutes. WARNING TO ALL HOMEOWNERS (2 Part Review) (Part 1) - If your HOA is managed by Trestle Management Group, read this carefully. While this review is detailed, it's still only a fraction of the stress, financial harm, and abuse homeowners like myself are facing. I am a current homeowner within the Vista Diamanté community in Phoenix, and my experience has been nothing short of traumatic--legally, financially, and emotionally. Selective Enforcement & Misrepresentation The situation began when I removed a few small, dead plants and tree from my front yard. I was never informed that ARC approval was needed for removing dying vegetation, and I proactively sought clarification from the HOA and Trestle Management for months--with no meaningful response. During that time, fees continued to accrue. Later, I was denied a landscaping request that other homeowners were approved for--even though mine matched or exceeded the same standards. When I questioned this, Trestle staff falsely blamed the builder. I have documentation proving that Trestle and the HOA board themselves approved the exact same design for another property. This is classic selective enforcement, and their explanation was a lie to deflect accountability. Unlawful Legal Fees & Financial Misconduct Shortly after I publicly confronted the Board at a community meeting about selective enforcement and legal violations, I was suddenly charged $975 in legal fees--with no notice, no itemized invoice, no hearing, and no legal action ever initiated. I was not represented by counsel, and there was no formal enforcement process or ruling. The sole justification for this charge was that the HOA's attorney had responded to my email--a clear overreach and an abuse of authority. The timing and lack of due process make this a textbook example of retaliation. Trestle and the HOA are misusing legal counsel not to protect the community, but to silence dissent and intimidate homeowners--then charging us for it. This violates multiple provisions of the governing documents, which require due process and prohibit arbitrary legal assessments without prevailing in a formal proceeding. Trestle is enabling a corrupt system where fines and legal threats generate revenue, not compliance. They lie in writing, weaponize attorneys, and have even used racially charged language in official communications to discredit and intimidate peaceful, law-abiding guests. This is not just unethical--it's dangerous and discriminatory. Even more disturbing: when I contacted the President of Trestle Management directly, he had my HOA's own attorney respond to me. This is a glaring conflict of interest. HOA counsel should not be used to represent Trestle's corporate leadership in personal matters, nor should homeowners be forced to pay legal fees for correspondence they didn't initiate. This is unethical, coercive, and a violation of CC&R Sections 7.6 and 10, which require legal fees to be assessed only after a party prevails in formal proceedings. No such proceeding ever occurred. This pattern--fines as retaliation, misuse of legal counsel, and silencing residents through intimidation--reveals a corrupt and deeply broken system. Trestle Management is using the HOA's legal apparatus to cover up misconduct, generate revenue, and punish dissent. They are lying in writing, concealing financial abuse, and targeting homeowners who speak up. This is not governance. It's harassment with legal letterhead. Fines as Retaliation Since publicly raising concerns, I've been hit with relentless fines--sometimes every 14 days, even when the HOA stated a longer correction window. This directly violates A.R.S. 33-1803(C), which requires a 21-day opportunity to cure before enforcement. Despite this, Trestle and the HOA continue to issue recurring fines while claiming they are "within CC&Rs"--ignoring that CC&Rs cannot override Arizona state law. They also began fining me for solar piping that was approved and installed back in 2021, clearly as retaliation after I cited their legal violations. These tactics are not about compliance--they're about intimidation and revenue generation. I've now accumulated over $2,000 in fines and legal fees, all imposed without due process, hearing, or any form of reasonable communication. Unlawful Reallocation of Funds & Foreclosure Risk I prepaid my 2024 assessment, only to have those funds illegally reallocated to fines, manufacturing a false delinquency and blocking my ACH autopay. I was marked as in collections without warning, despite being fully paid. This behavior puts my home at risk of foreclosure--all while I was compliant. Yvonne Silva should not be employed with any company. She has used profanity words and verbally harassed me which I have surveillance footage of. She was instructed to not approach me, my family, or guests again. Although, I have reported her to her regional manager, she continues to single out my home from others in my community, in La Bella Vida. She is unprofessional and legitimately has her team stalk my home waiting for me to be in violation to snap a same-day photo of. When I have neighbors who park on the sidewalk everyday and never receive an HOA violation letter! The last incident I had was momentarily parking my vehicle by my RV gate for less than 2 hours. She sent a next day parking violation and stated it was from a third party parking patrol company. However, I have 360 cameras on my home and it was from a neighbor who is more than likely on the HOA committee. Which she also more than likely told them about the incident which is why they stalk my home. I expressed my frustration again to the regional manager, Lisa but was dismissed. I even submitted proof of photos of other vehicles in violation and surveillance footage of that "third party parking patrol company" only taking photos of my vehicle when they were in violation as well. Previously, Yvonne sent out an email informing us if we park on the street but there's room in our driveway we would also be in violation. Yet, the "third party" did not take any photos of that when my vehicle was parked by my RV gate for less than 2hrs. Again, Yvonne uses profanity words, is unprofessional, singles people out, and has people watching my home! Both the regional manager and HR just dismissed my concerns and neither one of them has shared corporates information or someone who cares to listen to my concerns. I am making sure to keep ALL of my surveillance footage, photos, and emails of these events, and would suggest this to others as well. read more

This property management is the most unreasonable home owner association I have ever worked with. They charge absurd amounts for small violations, I was charged $125 for overgrown weeds. The monetary fees for violations are extremely disproportionate it is disappointing to see a company be so desperate for money. Their representatives are also very uncooperative and discourteous. Even after providing countless evidence for violations that are in actually well in compliance, the management group will require you to undergo a long and preposterous process to waive the fines. Not only is this process a major hassle the longevity of it makes it seem like paying the fine is far easier. From issuing fines for leaving a garbage bin out for an extra day to parking a vehicle too far to one side on your own driveway, it raises the question, "What's the point of living in this community?" Before deciding to live in this home, I never took into account the home owner association, but after this abominable experience, I always check online reviews of the certain association. If you were considering living under this association, be warned that your time won't be pleasant. You will be hit with fines after fines until you are so fed up that you are forced to move. Home owner associations like these, in my opinion, are despicable and should be punished for taking advantage of the community. read more
