Update: 1/23 I called the salon today after being told to reach out based on the response to the review I previously left. I spoke with who I'm assuming was the manager (a woman), but she stated she didn't know what I was referring to. I then explained that it hasn't even been a week and the acrylic has already chipped & my gel polish on the index finger. This was my FIRST fill-in after receiving a new full set earlier this month at another nail establishment. Instead of listening to my concerns, the conversation became argumentative. She repeatedly went back and forth with me about what services I had done there, which I am fully aware of. I only came here for the fill-in because my usual nail tech was booked. She then told me it would be a $5 repair charge. I continued to explain my concern, but it was clear the conversation wasn't going anywhere. At that point, I let her know I would just return to my usual nail salon. Overall, the customer service and handling of the situation were disappointing. read more

Had a appointment and was able to sit down soon as I got there. I am in the military so I wanted something that looked natural. Cherry suggested the natural color and it looked really good. I don't get manicures often but now I think that I can. I had a guy and he did a good job with everything. Probably one of the best ones I've had before. The natural look is working for me. read more

The concept of Sitting at a bar having your nails done is nice, however the quality isn't that great and I'm not certain how sanitary the tools are... nail dust and beverages... ummm kinda on the border there... but since I wasn't offered a beverage I can't really say.. That may have boosted the rating. read more

I would rate my experience a -0 and here's why: This was my first and LAST TIME that I'll ever come here. I went in to have a polish change on my toes for a wedding that I'm in and the nail lady cut my toe til it bled. In addition to telling me a different price and then trying to back pedal to get a few extra dollars. $15 dollars suddenly became $18 (for a wax) And the gel polish went from $15 to $25 . The people here are rude and unprofessional. DO NOT COME HERE‼‼‼ Save your money and nails please read more

I went to Trendy with my daughter to spend some time with her before we moved her to college. Made an appointment and still waited an hour for service. I overlooked that b/c I understand things get backed up sometimes. We choose the deluxe and the nail tech asked what smell we wanted. I asked for Orange Papaya and my daughter Lavender. My daughter's tech brought back the correct smell and mine brought back Lavender. Again I wasn't going to fuss b/c I like lavender as well. She sped through the pedicure, even had a timer set and when she felt like she was done she reached over and turned the knob on the timer to make it go off. I asked for a sunflower design on my big toe, she looked at another lady beside her and then told me she was going to do it. The 2nd lady sat down and started painting my toe without even asking for a picture. When I showed her the picture she waved it away and said "I do different flower for you like I want." Then turned to the original tech and started laughing and talking to her then looked back at me. The design was horrible. If she couldn't do the design she should have said that and I would have chosen something she could have done. read more

I came yesterday to get a fill in on my nails with a design. I paid $60 for a fill-in And came back the next day because my nails literally look like my five-year-old daughter had did them. They then proceeded to charge me 30 more additional dollars for them to fix my nails when I just asked for a nude color. I will never waste my time or money coming somewhere where I'm being overcharged to get quality nails. Be aware! Do not waste your time. Go somewhere with a value good work. No wonder the place is always empty now. read more

this is my 2nd time here. the first time they did an ok job, this time it was horrible the top of my nails still needed to be filed. There were rough spots at the top of the nail and the underside was not filed down as there were still spots that were sharp underneath. I told the management and they said they couldnt give refund and the SAME person had to repair it. not a different one. I will not ever come back here again. Stay away from this place. read more

I had an overall good experience during my salon visit, however it does not take much to realize when a nail salon is using MMA on your nails (which is illegal). I tried to remove my gel acrylics with acetone but they just became gummy and sticky. I jammed one of them and it took my whole nail with it. Spend a little extra and go to a nail salon that uses legal products. read more

Worst place ever. Rude staff. Manager us disrespectful. Over charge for nails. Gave me attitude because they were out of a product that I request so I just went back to a normal pedicure. Please save you time and energy. Don't ever come to the place read more

i came here today to see if they could fix one nail that was broken that i got done about a week ago they said no that my nails were old and i said okay i'll just get a new set because i was already tired of the color the girl takes off my nail and it's hurting me she used a mini plyer to take it off , and messed up and went under my real finger nail and made me bleed she didn't ask if i was okay she continued to be rough with me and didn't acknowledge her mistake , she then pulled off my nail that was attached to my skin and made me bleed again and cut my naila horribly , it's a shame because i come here a lot but this was my last time , service is bad everyone is rude and they over priced , prices are never the same read more

I normally don't complain about businesses but I feel like I over paid for just getting my nails painted. $37 for toes and get on fingers. No manicure or pedicure! Plus I had to wait 20 minutes before someone started on me. No one told me how long it was going to be. I went two weeks ago and my gel nails have already peeled off. Will not be back! read more

Took my 3 year old daughter here this past Saturday. I paid for her to get gel nail on her fingers and toes. I paid $40 for her her toes and $20 for her hands. I got a basic pedicure with gel nail polish for $30. I don't understand how I spent more money on her toes then my own and she did not give get to dip her toes in the water. Not to mention all her polish has come off already 5 days later. If you do gel polish right. It should last 2 weeks. Waste of money. I am very disappointed in the services that was provided for my daughter. I will never go back here again! read more

I wish I give no stars . Not from SC came to get my toes done and a quick fill in. They were not very friendly at All. I waited and then they had the nerve to serve someone that was white before me when I was there before her. Then after noticing it she even said something but I kept my cool. I just walked out after they wanted to wrap my nails what they did for the white woman they could have done that for the brown woman that there 1st!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! I am so so disappointed with this place... I can't even call it a Nail Salon or Nail Bar... as they call it. It's a butcher shop... & that's being nice. Poor supplies, poor service, staff (not nail techs) are pretty rude & unprofessional. I'm from out of town & this place was suggested. Never, ever, again!!! I should have read the reviews!! First off, in addition to my above comments... the pedicure was horrible!!!! I can't bear to show pics of my toes. I didn't want a gel but they just kept trying to up-sell me. Because a gel requires less skill & the extra polish comes off your skin. And with a regular mani, you need to blow dry them... they have no nail dryers!!!! Not to mention the higher cost than the already over priced mani! They cut me, left my cuticles & dry skin ragged & dryer. My male friend's toes were not filed & more jagged then when he started. I'm sorry but the only ppl who would go here are ppl blowing their money cause they don't know quality service & finish. I did not tip... and I'll give a bum a tip for being a bum! I get more disgusted every time I look at my toes!! This ain't my first mani... I'm today years old & have never, ever!!!!! read more

I love coming here but I came to get a pedi and wax. As you can see my skin is cut. And she was very rough with my eyebrows. My skin is swelling... to embarrassed to post a pic read more

I will NEVER go to Trendy Nail Bar in Rock Hill again and I suggest you don't. I got my nails done a week or so ago and when they were doing them a complained that my finger was intensely burning. Mark, the tech ignored me. I proceed to pay my $50 and walk out. Well when I got home I checked out my finger and it was white and still burning something serious. It has only progressively gotten worse and now is a huge, hard rock blister from a chemical burn on my finger. There is nothing they will do! I will NEVER go back! Figured if I could save someone the pain I've been going through I would! read more

I came and had my nails done Last Saturday. On Sunday one of my Sns nails cracked. I came back and they fixed the nail. They checked the other nails and ensured there was nothing wrong with them. The next day I noticed a nail had a crack across the top. I specifically said " this has never happened before could it be the sns powder?" The Manager said no it's your nail. I asked if we remove this sns and we notice my nail is not cracked would I have to pay. She said she was going to charge me $5. When she removed the sns we found there was no crack on my nail in which she had indicated. It is now a WEEK later and the two nails that she fixed have a crack across the top of the nail AGAIN. Mind you, she placed a tip on the nail because she said it was "my nails." Sns polish is not supposed to crack. The Manager should have taken my question of the powder being flawed into consideration. She proceeded to want to charge me for something in regards to the type of sns powder. Sns nails are supposed to last longer than 2 days. I wish I could post a picture of the cracked line going across the top of my two nails. This makes absolutely No Sense. The nail techs are awesome but when a paying customer mentions that something may be wrong with the sns powder the manager should listen rather than trying to charger for a faulty product. From one set of nails I have had to get 2 fixed and within a week the two I got fixed need to now be fixed again. Based of the principle of this situation, and the over investment of my TIME, I would NEVER recommend anyone to go to this location until they have a change in management. read more

I don't recommend this nail salon due to the fact the employees try to talk you into doing things and taking liberties that they think will look good on you. I left paying over $80 on a $30 manicure and a $12 paint job on my toes. I am not happy! Definitely will never be going back to this nail salon! read more

Horrible customer service, rude. No ventilation! ugh I went in to get a chrome color palate that I saw there previously, they said we don't have it. I saw it there the previous week when I got my brows done. They insisted that I did not see it there. So I was picking out another color, I had at least 3 people rush me to find a color! They did both a mani/pedi at same time and the chemicals were overwhelming. I asked if they could turn on a fan, they said we do not have a fan! All the while I see a small fan sitting on the counter! In the meantime, after my polish was put on, they found the color palate that I was looking for. I will not go back unless I want a chemical headache and bad customer service. Worst nail experience that I ever had! read more

Will be reporting to the BBB bc they are not clean inside and do not sterilize materials. Believe the other reviews. They do not know how to shape nails. Even the first chair/manager Mark is not good at making acrylic nails look natural. A simple straight square shape has these people confused. They will act confused when you say something about their poor work. Needs new management asap. read more

If you like to have your Gel nails done in your lap while getting a pedicure at the same time, while feeling that you are being rushed then this is the place for you. *How can you relax? The whole point of a pedi I THOUGHT!* If you like the feeling of being unable to relax because you've got to worry about what's going on with your fingers & toes at the same time? This is the place for you! If you like uneven feeling/looking Gel nails & not being told of a $15 up-charge for French tips with 2 small designs, no French, on 2 fingers & oh again, the look of uneven noticeable Gel application, then this is the place for you. I have had my nails Gel polished about 5 or 6 times at another place & never had a break & my nails felt stronger- so far I've broken 1 nail completely off & 2 that are cracked at the quick, these are my REAL nails. Maybe this is because it is thicker at the bottom or bed of the nail than the tip. The pedicure was nowhere near what I expected, it was like they were scared to touch me, hardly any pressure & still rough heels & didn't even look like anything was done but polish (great job on the polish tho! 5 stars). Not at all worth $50!!! I paid $40 for the above "add-ons" (which would've been nice to have a little warning on price) with removal & application of Gel polish. By far the highest I've ever paid & didn't even get a manicure. I'm still a little appalled that they placed the Gel light lamp in my lap atop of several towels to do my nails? $90 down the drain. *The only positive thing: of the 3 different people I had working on me is the lady that did my toes & painted the design on my 2 fingers, was very friendly & very talented with my designs, beautiful! Those are the ONLY 2 nails that do not feel/look uneven! read more

If I could give this place zero ratings I would. When I went there I didn't need a fill-in but I asked if they could do designs they said yes so I got a fill in anyways to get my nails redone when she started doing my nails and I showed her the design and she said she could do it she did my nails and could not do the design two days later my nail is broken she wants to charge me money to fix what she broke because my nails were perfectly intact this place is horrible and I would never go to them again my nails look like shit. There's air bubbles in the gel and it chipped after one day. This was a waste of money and I would never suggest them to anyone! read more

Absolutely terrible!! I came in for a fill in because my reg nail tech cancelled my appt due to an emergency and I was going out of town the next morning. The young lady didn't file my nails to freshen up the shape. After applying the acrylic for my fill in she barely used the drill to smooth the top. So my nails were thick in the cuticle area and lumpy. When I showed her the lumps, she tried to fix it by applying extra layers of polish!!!! To top all of this off when I got home the Gel Polish started lifting!! It literally peeled off of 4 nails!!! Please don't waste your money!!! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE QUALITY!!! read more

Went in on a Sunday which of course is awesome that they are open because most are closed. They had a little bit of a wait but didn't take long at all they seemed to be getting people in and out. This place did the fastest and most efficient gel polish I've ever seen. My nails were perfect for weeks.

Worst places in Rock Hill, SC. I came here for a fill in on hands and nail polish change in my feet. The tech doing my hair never told me her name so I will call her the lady with purple hair and purple eyeglasses. When she finished using the drill on my nails I asked her to check my hands please. So many nails were lifting a little and she didn't want to use the nail clippers. I told her I don't want water getting under my nails and to clip It. She did. Ladies that's how you get fungus nails. Make sure these nail techs are removing All the lifted nails Before they apply acrylic. Second she goes to polish my nails. Again I asked her can you check my hands. There was acrylic still hanging off my nails and you could see my real nails underneath. She began talking in a foreign language and pointing to my nails I know they were talking about. I move over the the pedicure bowl for my feet polish change. The owner a rude ass lady comes over to polish my hands. Because I got glitter nail polish k asked her to add another coat to fill in the empty spaces she began yelling and said she can't. I didn't raise my voice but I started to go head to head with this lady. Look I came her to relax not teach people bit to do hand and feet. I will never come back Here again. I've been here here about 5 times and we never step foot in this place. The owner is rude woman and the technician don't know what the hell they doing. They also wanted to charge me $3 for nail Cut down I told her I don't want a cut down just use the drill and lightly smooth down. What's the big deal my nails were already a short length and no reason to charge for. Cut down. Next time I will go to Blush nail bar down the street. I called Blush but they were totally booked today. read more

Great service, friendly staff, decent prices, not overly crowded, and they let me take an unexpected nap in the massage chair as my relaxing pedicure ended. My daughter and her friends had a great experience for her birthday. Thanks to the entire staff for the special day.

I LOVE this place! They are super friendly and do a great job! It is also very bright inside and has a great atmosphere!

I've been going here for about a year and every time I leave disappointed or pissed off. Pedicures have always been heaven but as far as a NAIL salon, most of the employees are rude and genuinely don't care what you want. The younger employers do try, but their color samples are years old and totally different than what you get. Super frustrating if you want your toes to match a dip, which is my moms biggest problem there! I recently wanted white acrylic and it's so old that every nail broke in less than a week. If you want something cheap and aren't picky, go for it. But as for me, I will never step foot in there again. read more

Lysa is horrible she needs her attitude checked immediately. Very disgusting attitude and for some reason acts as if she is bad. She is very rude to her employees and rude to customers. One lady sweet as pie I won't say her name. She felt so horrible she literally rubbed and held my hand she felt how bad I was shaking. I was the only black lady in the building at the time and the rest were white so I didn't want to cause a scene. I didn't want to be deemed another angry black Woman so I kept my cool. I then asked her how much for my service she snapped and said idk I didn't do your nails. But the lady told me my toes were $15 but Lysa jacked it up to almost $90. And now I'm like WTF.. I don't mind paying for my service but I much rather provided that as a tip to the actual worker not that rude tramp. Then when u confront her she tries to get loud. I asked what did you say to me? She got loud. Then she asked for my debit card, I said oh you got some sense now? Last time going there and I've been going there for a while and that's not the first time she has been nasty but I won't be back. I pray others have the same strength and not go upside her head. read more

I was so pleased with Victor and Trendy Nail! I had the indulgent chocolate pedicure and I will definitely come back for it the next time I'm in town. The smell of the chocolate candle wax and the silky feel of paraffin...topped off with a delicious chocolate strawberry martini. Just fantastic. The manicures are all done at a bar, very trendy.
