I went in for a basic pedicure. It was $35 and $45 with gel. After 50 minutes of her struggling to polish my toe nails and looking over at her husband and informing him something was wrong with the polish and she should've used OPI . She started taking the polish off once she was done (understandably because it looked a mess) and I told her I would just pay half and she didn't have to worry about it. Her husband asked me to pay full and come back in 2 days, which would have been Saturday. I said no if that's the case I'll pay on Saturday. I offered to pay $25. He told me to do $30 which still didn't seem fair. He eventually told me to just pay $25, but I still paid $30 because it should've never been a debate when they clearly just don't know what they're doing and she stated multiple times it was an issue with the polish . I haven't been here in years because they aren't really good with nails/toes but it was my last resort. Next time I'll just go without. Go at your own risk, but I won't be back. Don't go ladies!! I've lived in Rock Hill for a year now, and have been traveling back to Charlotte or Ft. Mill to get my nails done. I'm not too picky, I just appreciate good service period. And I've had a hard time finding a good spot close to home. I read a few reviews and decided to give this place a try. Vi did my pedicure, she was very warm and did awesome work. She offered me a drink immediately, and got straight to work. She was polite, fast, and gave a wonderful massage. I wanted designs on my toes, but she told me someone else would do it for me after my dip manicure because she couldn't. It wasn't too busy, only two of us were getting our hands worked on and maybe two other people were doing their feet. I sat down at the first table to be worked on by a older male technician. Strike 1--He did not clean his table off before I sat down. Nail clippings from the previous client were still on the table and towel. I sat down and waited a few minutes for the him to come clean up, but he didn't. He brought out a heart shaped glass bowl with acetone for me to sit my nails in. The lady beside me who also had dip nails, was using the heated acetone machine. But I thought maybe they only have one. Strike 2-- I waited 10 minutes, then 15 minutes with no one to check on me. So after 20 minutes I took my nails out of the acetone (which is bad for natural nails). And still my technician wasn't back to check on me, the technician next to me had to call him over. But only after I said something to the client next to me about not wanting to keep my nails in the acetone for long periods. Strike 3--My technician came back and asked why I took my nails out, I told him I don't like to keep my nails in the acetone like that because it's bad for my nails. I asked if he could use the foil or the heated acetone machine. He said no, that the foil would take too long. And then he began to file my color off until it hurt my nail bed so I told him to stop and I would just wait for the other technician to do my nails. She said she couldn't because she has an appointment coming in. He told me I could come back later. Mind you he had already filed off some of my color, and I'd been waiting over 30 minutes now with nothing to show for it. I had to pay for my pedicure with no design. And walk out with my hands looking horrible. Vi came over and apologized multiple times and tried to ask the male technician something in their language and he shrugged her off. My first time was awesome! The tech was a lityle nervous, but did a really good job on my gel nails. So, I decided to go bavk for the mani/pedi the same tech did my pedi and another tech did my gel mani. Needless to say the pedi was perfect, mani not so much. It started peeling after 8 days! Due to the convenience I thought I'd give it another try. I get another tech different from the other 2 I had before. Omg! Worst ever in my entire career of getting manicures! My fingers had gel polish on them! My thumb nail has a bubble in it, never seen that before! The other nail is peeling and this was done 4 hours ago!! Unbelievable. I absolutely love getting my pedicure done with Vy, she is a sweet, nice and fun lady, she knows exactly what I like, I always like to get white color on my toes and Vy tries to convince me to do a different color and I say to her I'm sorry that I'm boring, today she finally said I like the white! Disappointed! I had a manicure the day before Thanksgiving. I wish they told me they were too busy bc I would have gone somewhere else. After paying full price for dipping powder, my nails chipped and broke one week later. My cuticles looked awful! I went back, explained everything. I was given another manicure with dipping powder base and gel polish. I thought I wasn't expected to pay since this was their fault. After arguing with the manager, I had to pay an additional 50! I had a great experience! I got a pedicure and it was amazing. They have three packages to choose from. I got the Basic $26 and my friend got the Deluxe $35. The techs were incredibly nice and the massage chairs are great! They even do eyebrow waxes as well. It was a great experience overall, we'll definitely be going back. read more

My sister and I went to Envy to get our nails done a week from today. The lady that was working on my nails was extremely rude and I didn't feel safe in the atmosphere, why? 1. because while the lady was turning on the drill for my nails, THE DRILL TOUCHED MY BARE SKIN, but she did not apologize. I love this nail salon. Everyone knows what they're doing and you get well beyond your money's worth. It is very relaxing and is the perfect treat after a long week of work. I always walk out feeling phenomenal. To respond to the comment below about the employees speaking in their native language, how dare you. If I had the capability to talk to my coworkers in a language other than English I would take full advantage. It is not distracting from the experience whatsoever. I have never been so unhappy with my nails. I was not asked what shape I wanted, I was never asked if I was happy with the shape (I wasn't, I have multiple nails that are not filed straight) my nails are lumpy, there are multiple nails that the polish does not cover the whole nail. It felt as if he was trying to go as fast as he could in order to get to the next person. Both times I have come to this salon I have left unhappy. I will not be returning. Price was about average it was $35 for a full set and regular polish. Male technician was giving off a weird vibe and rushing between me and my friend. The woman doing my nails was gentle and nice at first but as more customers began coming in, she would leave me to help with them and come back five minutes later. I wish i could say anything good about this spa. From the moment i started my services i was disappointed. I called before hand to be sure that the nail technicians were very familiar with dip because i am very specific, the man on the phone replied "oh yes of course". I walk in and the woman gives me a bowl of acid-tone and told me to put my hands in it. I told her i will absolutely not do that and she can do it the correct way by putting the acid-tone on cotton and wrapping my hands with tin foil. After that it went down hill, i asked the girl if she knew how to do it but if not I'll go somewhere else and it's no big deal. She panicked because she obviously did not know how to do it and called the man over. I asked him does she know how to do it, he then said you can go somewhere else. My nails had been half way soaked off and i asked him if he thinks it's okay letting a customer leave like this. He then proceeded to talk under his breath, as i asked him again if anyone really knew how to do dip and he told me to go somewhere else. I was then seated with another girl who was trying to put acrylic on my nails when i have been asking for dip since i made the appointment. She attempted the dip, and clearly did not know what she was doing. In the end i lost 2 hours of my time and 140 dollars. The business clearly does not value their customers due to the owner lying to my face when saying the salon knew how to do dip nails. My advice would be to save your time and money! read more

Every time I come here the owner of the salon does not seem that friendly. But since this location is close to home I try and give it another shot. The last time I went I came in for the removal of acrylic nails and I should not have done so. The man owner soaked my nails for a few minutes which was a good start but the outcome was terrible. He begin to cut my nails with a nail clipper and cause a tremendous amount of pain and popping effect because my nails were still solid and hard he removed my nails with another fake nail lifting it up from the nail bed painfully. I kept moving and saying ouch and do you think he tried a different technique or offered to let them soak longer NOT. My nails were so sore the next day and red I literally had to use some Neosporin to make sure this guy did not do any major damages to my nail bed. I would not recommend this shop and I will no longer go here. read more

My full set experience was horrible!! As I was getting my pedicure (btw was great) , the nail tech walked in late of course and the owner didn't seem happy. She asked my numerous of times to change my service and was rude when I declined. She continuously pulled my hand roughly, and when I resist she asked me what was wrong. She cut me me numerous times on my cuticles and tried to hide the blood from my sight. My nails look horrible!! The shape is completely off and the paint job was a disgrace. This is my first Yelp review. EVER! First time in Rock Hill, SC and I called everywhere to see the wait time & all of them said no come tomorrow or 3 hour wait. Then I came across Envy Nails and Spa a little further than I'd like to go from my hotel. When I called the man who answered simple said no wait you can come And I'll do it for you. At first I was like ugh. They probably not busy for a reason but I decided to go anyways, so I told him my gps said 13 mins away but I told him 15 mins.... 15 mins later when I arrived he opened the door for me and welcomed me. To my surprise they were packed but had enough staff to accommodate the clients. I picked out my polish and as I was getting my shoes off they asked me if I'd like something to drink. WINE! The nasty nail salon I have ever been to went here to get my nail fix because I broke it off and when you first walked in they guy was working on a car mirror like wtf and I was rushed to pick a color and was told to sit down his work are witch was covered in nail clipping and pices of the mirror glue was very unsanitary an he went to put on my nail witch was fine but then went to put the acrylic stuff it literally looked like hunchback and he got pissed because I told him to take it off and do it agin and he messed up my pinky nail literally if you could not do coffin then don't try I got push away and had to got to tk nails to get them fix and it was so dark in there latterly the worst experience ever never will go back and will talk shit about this nail salon to everyone i know and ask about them I should have taken pictures but i didn't got to blush's bar and nail the are the best and tk nails is okay if they are not busy read more

The atmosphere was beautiful and we enjoyed some wine during our mani/Pedi's. My complaint would be all the background noise. It wasn't the music or the sound of drills, but rather the chatter of the employees in their native language.. It made us wonder what they were talking about and whether they were just chatting or talking about us. There are so many other places to get our nails done, yet no one has gotten the memo on speaking English in the presence of American clients. There were other employees who made a point to speak English and made the clients happy, but unfortunately at the pedicure chairs there were many conversations that did not involve the English language. Also we got a deluxe pedicure which usually includes a paraffin wax or extra massage and we received neither. Shame on us for not bringing it to someones attention. If feeling comfortable isn't a factor in your spa experience give it a shot...if not I suggest you find another salon that is willing to make you feel like you are priority. read more
