Trendsetters has an impressive selection, and SOME scents are less than buying online or in a department store... but definitely not all. First off, this is the first time I'd been to a perfume shop on Harwin. I usually buy online or at a department store, but I'd heard great things about Trendsetters' prices. One half of the store is women's scents, the other side men's scents, and the center is mostly Arabic fragrances. The organization of the store is a bit chaotic, but I didn't mind since the prices seemed pretty good. I will say that their staff was kind and helpful when it came to suggesting scents. They led me to the Lattafa section, and I got to smell everything without any pressure to buy. Another win. I ended up purchasing a 3.4 oz bottle of Lattafa Yara Candy for about $35. When I got home, my spidey senses tingled... and after a quick search, I found that the same scent in the same size is about $25 on Amazon (regular price). And if you're wondering why Trendsetters gets a 4.9 star rating on Google, that's because if you give them a Google review before checking out, you get one extremely budget scent for free. Trendsetters is fine if you just want to smell scents that you can't find in local stores, but make sure to do your research before you waste money here. read more

I usually spend plenty of money here. The holidays especially. Today I tried to purchase oils on my card, under 10 dollars. The owners policy is to penalize you, that you must pay in cash if under 10 dollars. Theirs plenty of shops on Harwin that don't do this, plz go elsewhere. I would rate this place zero. read more

She walked me around the whole store and showed all of her favorite perfumes for both men and women. I used to be a regular shopper here for many years. They had a good selection and good prices, until now. This past Saturday I spent over $250 there buying high-end designer fragrances including Yves Saint Laurent, Lancôme, and Dolce & Gabbana. By the way, they have a giant sign outside their door which says that they will meet any competitor's price and will honor all coupons. Later that night I was looking on Amazon to see how the prices from Trendsetters stacked up against retail prices on Amazon. All were priced similarly except I noticed that the two Dolce & Gabbana fragrances I had bought were cheaper on Amazon. Exact same brand, model, and size. The Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue was $5 cheaper on Amazon and the Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Living Stromboli was $10 cheaper on Amazon. I went back to the store on Sunday to speak to them about this. They would not honor their "meet any competitors price" policy. By the way, the Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue that I bought was marked "Tester" and those usually sell for much cheaper than the regular ones. Still, this store's "Tester" bottle was more expensive than Amazon's retail bottle with the retail box and everything. The manager was quite rude and argumentative. He kept parsing his words and mine and changing the subject and was just generally evasive and unpleasant. He even had the nerve to say "You don't know who you're buying from on Amazon" when I showed him that the seller was Dolce & Gabbana themselves. He had lots of excuses and he was just arrogant. I asked him two times clearly, "Are you willing to lose a long-time dedicated customer over $5?" and he just kept being rude. By the way, it takes five times as much time and effort to win a new customer than to keep an existing one. And it's virtually impossible to win back a customer who has left. But I guess this manager didn't go to business school so he didn't learn this. Save yourself the trip. Go to Macy's and try the fragrances there and then buy them on Amazon. read more

I have been coming to this location for perfumes and cologne for years. I always get good customer service. Today I did my research before coming in on pricing for what I wanted and found that my Marc Jacobs eau so fresh perfume was at a really great price below what they were doing on amazon but the polo black I wanted was about $5 more in store than on amazon. I asked if they could match and they did! They did explain that they can't always match due to what costs they have on the perfumes ( I mean come on guys it is a business after all they have to make money too) but he gave me a small discount on my Marc Jacobs too and I didn't ask! Overall I always have a great experience and I refuse to pay full price for perfumes at department stores! You should be coming here for perfume and cologne! read more

Worst experience ever. Went there to buy armani watch. After one week of use, it stop working. I went to the official dealer and they told me that the Watch Are FAKE. I went in knowing what I wanted in the fragrance, just not sure which one to buy. The young woman was wonderful, very accomodating and I found exactly what I was looking for and more. She had one by Bvlgari that has actually been discontinued that I've been searching for. So very happy with that. Their prices are really good/very reasonable I thought. I brought my family here from different states and they say the prices are much better than where they stay. At times I have no idea what I'm looking for and they are kind enough to find the scent I like, whether it's fresh , sweet or musky....was actually very impressed when I ask them to find something for me lol.
