They ask that put your animal in the bathroom 10 minutes before they arrive. Done! You also have to collect a stool sample. Worst part about it. Bleh. The vet and her assistant were very nice. The vet explained everything clearly and concisely. They said my cat was very agreeable which surprised me. Normally she freaks out about new people. The whole experience took about 15 minutes. My cat got vaccinated, an exam, and an a 3 month flea application for around 182 dollars. Very reasonable. While I was at work the next they left a voicemail letting me know the stool sample came up negative and to call them with any questions. I highly recommend them.

They even tested me a picture after surgery to show us he was okay. And has even called to check on him a few times since. My lab mix had to be put down earlier this year as well. They were wonderful with him. Went even as far as shuffling rugs for him to be able to walk back to the back for testing. Staff is wonderful and so caring.

My dog has a severe ear infection, but the Dr Allie did not seem too concerned. She gave meds and said follow up. She didn't want to do an ear swab or take blood until the follow up appt. She prescribed an antibiotic that was $120 for 10 days!!!! Absolutely just dumb founded with the lack of concern and no empathy. Overall, it felt like the staff didn't care about animals whatsoever.

We have two large dogs that are well behaved but can be a lot to handle when out in the busy streets of Chicago with traffic, pedestrians and lots of other dogs around. Our dog walker has to be someone who is physically strong and also smart and responsible with the way they handle dogs. Terrisa is a pro. She knows what she is doing and we feel completely comfortable leaving her in charge of our furry kids. When we are away, we trust that Terrisa will feed our dogs their special dietary food and give them their proper medication. One time while on vacation, one of our dogs got sick and not only made huge messes all over our place (that Terrisa cleaned up for us without hesitation or complaint) but that also required him to be taken to the vet and acquire medication. Being out the country, my husband and I were in a panic. Terrisa got our dog to the vet right away, got him his meds and nursed him back to health, all while we enjoyed our vacation away. My dogs love Terrisa. They get so excited when they see her. Terrisa is a wonderful dog sitter and a responsible and sensible person. I highly recommend her for any pet sitting or dog walking needs!

I've been to this store a few times - usually just to browse the small animals and fish sections…read more Things that I really like about this store include: -Great selection of high end foods for all types of animals. We buy our guinea pig food there all the time. -A lot of unique aquariums for sale and tons of fish supplies. -They seem to take pretty good care of the small animals that they have for sale (hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits). -There's no overcrowding of the small animals. Their cages are of sufficient size. Compare that to places like Petco who sometimes have 6+ guinea pigs in one small cage. Things that I don't like so much: -High prices -The fish section doesn't seem to be taken care of well. I've seen a lot of dead fish in the tanks and the bettas, while not in cups, are still in tiny little compartments within the aquariums. -As usual in pet stores, there's an overcrowding of fish. Overall, I think it's definitely a place you want to visit - especially if you're looking for higher end foods or you want to adopt a small animal as their animals looked healthier than the ones at the larger stores usually do.
