The first way we were thankful was in meeting Dr. Whittington. She came in the room and was open, friendly and obviously concerned about our pet. She was a pleasure to meet and she was very direct with her diagnosis and made sure that we understood everything she explained. The second way we were thankful was that our dog did not have a serious injury but Dr. Whittington discovered that our dog had a serious rash on her tummy (from running through the weeds). Dr. Whittington prescribed an antibiotic for allergies which two days later has been extremely helpful. Our pet has not scratched or licked again. The third way in which we were thankful was after mentioning that our dog was on Hydrolized dog food which we order by prescription. we were able to purchase a case of dog food from Tender Care which was very helpful to us. Hair was still long on front feet, therefore looked like the nails had not been cut and my dog was chewing on them like he does before they are trimmed. His harness was simple put over head pull strap under belly and snap. His leg was thru with his neck piece. Looked like returner was probably the one who put it on him. This is the 2nd time and same "big" returner. I can't believe that he was groomed by the same person that he was scheduled with. Have to think over returning. My dog was late for the morning of 7:30 to 8 by 15 minutes. They were rude in telling me how this was a big problem. Very curt and uppity for a desk clerk.

Like any pet owner, I worry about them getting the attention and proper care they need when I am not available. I was thoroughly pleased when I returned. Jewell left a short note each day of what she did and how the cats were each day when she arrived. My cats were happy and content, as if I had never been gone at all. It sure gave me a total peace of mind knowing they were well taken care of while I was gone. It was supposed to have a tv that played soothing videos and be equipped with cameras that we could log into and check on them at our convenience. We were not allowed to see this in person because of "safety protocol" and the morning we checked them in we were informed that the cameras were down. We had no way of knowing if we got anything that we were charged extra for, and we were charged a lot extra. They were unapologetic about this and did not offer to reduce the bill for the services that were not provided. Over $200 for 24 hours and I have no idea if we got anything we payed extra for. Pros: skilled vets and usually can get an appointment quickly Cons: they squeeze you for every dime and you must take it on faith that you are getting what you paid for.
