We finished with the tres leches cake, and it was hands down the best I've ever had. It was so good it was practically orgasmic. I got to New Jersey earlier today and cold weather gave me a chill welcome back haha…read more Day went OK and them some friends invited me to hang out and we wanted to try a latino place in Elizabeth NJ. We found out this place with a name who brought me memories from my childhood 'kucaramakara'. This is a playground game that children play in my hometown so that is why I got excited about this new place. DJ was playing all that kind of latin music: from salsa to bachata, merengue, dembow and of course regueton! The place wasn't that busy and they have karaoke seven nights at week. Servers were really nice and even though they don't have a big selection of cocktails they do offer many kinds of beers. They don't take debit or credit cars but there is an ATM inside the place. If you are up to dancing this is the right spot to show the world all your moves!! They also have a variety of tequilas... Don't be shy!!! Highly recommended.

IF YOU ARE USING A CARD YOU HAVE TO TELL THEM PRIOR TO PAYMENT IF YOU WANT TO INCLUDE TIP. They do not have the option to do so after paying. Wild to me but, it is what it is. Music. 10/10. The main staple is House from the 80's-00's, R&B from the 70's - 90's, and a couple other genres but still a great mix. Hookah is available for purchase. Bar in the front is L - shaped. Ample space to sit and dance if the spirit so moves you. Drinks - Electronic measured pours. A negative for me but! If it helps control profits and diminish bad behavior, let it rock. After 10pm the front area closes and the back opens on certain nights (Sunday I stayed all night in the front) Much larger space and also a cover. Again, cash is king here. All things considered I can overlook some of my minor inconveniences because the totality of the experience is worth it. To Me, lol

A mixture of either old, sketchy, no sex appeal and rough around the edges. The dance floor was packed and the music was on point. There was some people that set up food in the back but it left a trail of an odor that was not appetizing. Drinks were ok at best but when I asked for a cup with ice it seemed to be an issue. Very off putting. Not quite sure what the issue was.... The bartender brought the manager over and I had to specify I wanted it for my beer. Yes, I'm a weirdo if I don't get a frosted glass, I'll take a cup with ice. The manager proceeds to ask me ; "So you want me to pour the beer into the cup with ice?" UMMM yes I don't mind pouring it my damn self but if it makes you more comfortable, knock yourself out. It truly didn't make a difference to me who poured it, I just wanted some damn ice to cool myself off! I'm not sure what type of sketchy and shady people they deal with but I am not the one. My boyfriend and I run a good tab on drinks, give me what I'm asking for and paying for! Meanwhile, I did not see just about any of the 30-40 people on the dance floor buy a drink. I then saw hookah's on a table and the price list. Unfortunately, they were not providing hookah service that night. So why have them out? Whewwww I love my house music community and love the Lincoln Park festival that is close to the bar but this past Sunday this bar and crowd missed the mark. The only redeeming factor was the DJ. I highly doubt I'd return unless it were to vibe out and dance to a DJ I reaaaaallly love.
