Best experience I ever had. Did have an issue with FedEx but that has nothing to do with Company Trek. Made a few trips to Edgewater store before the purchase and I was always walking out with smile. This Trek store is very new here at Edgewater and so far so good. The store is well kempt, organized and clean. They have plenty of bikes available, altho pricey, they are of good quality as is known for Trek bikes. I thought about waiting to write a review for this particular store but since we visited twice at this point, what really had me decide to just say/write something is the excellent customer service here. Each and everyone of the staff know their stuff! They are also very polite and personable. First visit on 7/16/20 we were assisted by Daniel and had a very pleasant experience with him. He was very patient and answered our questions. Knows their products well and their specs. Today we were also greeted by Abe, who took our temperatures before we got in, he too was also very friendly. Next Paul helped us get some accessories. Both he and Chad assisted us with bike measurements and were great. Would recommend this place to Trek and bike enthusiasts! Great location too with ample parking and lots of space if you want to test your bike out for a little ride. read more

Pretty annoyed. Brought two older bikes here and had them tuned up. Both bikes had shifter cables crack. Between the two bikes I got about a years worth of riding which isn't bad. Decided to continue doing business regardless of the low quality parts used and was turned away. They don't stand by their work ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ what else can I say. read more

About a month ago I walked into this store looking for an accessory when I saw my dream bike. It was a brand new 2019 Super Commuter+ 8s, no longer made by Trek. Gladys suggested that I go for a test ride, and even gave my wife a bike to ride as well. I didn't buy the bike that day, but about a month later I came back and took another test ride. Gladys was warm and welcoming as usual, and I never felt pressured. The following day I went back to the store and bought the bike. I can't speak highly enough about how great the customer service is at this Trek store. They truly care about their customers and they love bikes. If you're on the fence about whether or not you should pay a premium for a reputable bicycle brand like Trek, take the leap! I'm a Trek fan for life! read more

Before putting this review up I actually called trek and gave the manager 48 hours to respond to my complaint and make it right, but no one has bothered to respond and obviously don't care about their customers. So here is what my experience was with trek bicycle edgewater this week: I brought my bike to Trek to get it ready for me to start riding again. Granted, my bicycle is old but I only rode it a few times since I bought it years ago. I got the level 1 service package at trek. I even called before hand and spoke to a gentleman named Chad who seemed very knowledgeable about bikes. So I specifically waited for his shift to come in. Chad explained that there is nothing he can do about the minor rust spots, but he said they will change the chain, put air in the tires and give it a good wash. I even watched their thorough video on their site to see what type of wash they actually do. It looks wonderful and thorough on the video, but as you can see from these photos I absolutely did NOT get what I paid for. I had someone pick up my bike for me and I was appalled at how it looks. They hardly did anything. Theres even spider webs still on the bike from when I left it with them FOR OVER A WEEK. All Trek/Chad did was change the bike chain and put air in the tires. A service that cost, at most $15, but trek charged a total of $130. I would never trust trek to do another service or even trust them to purchase a bike there. If they're dishonest AND don't care about customer service, Why anyone trust them to purchase a bicycle either. I will further advise my friend I sent there and who has a bike on back order of there business practices too. Now, a service that allowed them to make $130 off of me will potentially cause them to lose thousands. I'm in business too and this is the basics of good business practices. Take my advice, look for another business that's honest to service your needs and who's deserving of your hard earned money. You're welcome. read more

I was extremely disappointed with the service. I dropped off my bike asking if they could please take a look at it within the next two weeks since I wanted it to be ready for my vacation. I was told it would not be a problem and we would be reached within five days.. We called at the agreed time but it not been looked at . After 9 days I went to the store and was greeted with snide and dismissive remarks. "We are too busy". If they had been honest about availability from the get go I would not have felt so dismissed and disrespected. I am an avid cyclist and have had my treks serviced without issue at another trek store. I will never go back to Edgewater read more

Loved this bike shop. Both Sarah & Keith were amazing to us. Helped us get all the accessories we wanted for our bike, installed the accessories for us, and then loaded the bike in the car for us. Forgot to post this months ago - better late than never though! Stopped by on our bike ride to figure out why my wife's bike was making noises. The Edgewater Trek team was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The store closes at 5PM on Saturday, but they kept working on it past their closing time. They test drove it multiple times and got to the bottom of the issue. We truly appreciate everything they did and their attention to detail and customer service is amazing. Friendly Competent Courteous & Professional I arrived 10 minutes before closing time and the staff was extremely patient with me. First they sized me Then I test rode not one but two bikes & they helped me choose the perfect one They installed my kickstand, changed my seat and even put in my super cute bell As an added benefit the view of the city skyline is amazing Worth the TREK from the Bronx! :-) Would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a bike! read more

EXCELLENT customer service. My husband and I stopped in here on a Saturday morning and checked out some bikes. My husband test rode some of them and Keith was great-- he spoke with my husband about features and asked some questions to gauge the best bike for him and he didn't push us on anything, didn't try to up-sell or do anything shady. He shared his knowledge and opinion all while being respectful and honest. Would highly recommend this location to anyone interested in getting a Trek-- they really do make some of the best bikes in the world (from e-bikes to kids bikes and everything in between). Even if you don't have a Trek and need to get your bike serviced, they'll take care of you here. The service manager, Chad was really good too. There's a great selection of bikes here and they carry accessories and gear as well. The location is convenient- right next to Whole Foods in Edgewater Town Center. read more

I recently purchased a Domane AL 3 Disc from the Edgewater, NJ location. The store is beautiful and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. It was an easy process purchasing my bike, which was surprising considering the current bike shortage. A week after purchasing my bike I was in a minor accident that left my bike needing some attention. CHAD really came to the rescue. He is such a fun person and so knowledgeable about bikes. I live 30 minutes away from this store but will continue to come back because of the top-notch service. When it's safe I'm looking forward to going on group rides with these folks and getting to know them better. I would highly recommend visiting this Trek location. read more

What a great experience! Have an older trek triathlon bike that has been through the wars and recently upgraded almost all parts at another bike store - and ever since, the derailleurs, cassette & chainset been making WAY too much noise. I returned to the other store and got some rote answer as to why this was the case (and I knew not to be true) - after which, brought it to Trek Edgewater where I was instantly impressed by the friendliness of the staff and introduced to Chad, who oversees the repairs operation - was awesome to talk with, very knowledgeable, and by the time our conversation was finished, my bike was once again humming like it was brand new. Couldn't be more pleased - and will be returning here for road bike purchase in the future. Highly recommended. read more
