This should be a change in sets of three about 10000 miles.My wife bike only had 600-700 miles or about 70 ĥour. My trust for Trek Bicycle Cypress is very low. TREK had no trouble texting me to let me know that the bike was ready. And you also have no trouble spending my money without my permission. Calling me or text me to let me know that I had a flat that it needed to be repaired should have been my call. With all this done & said. There are too many other bike shops. Your store will not be trusted or recommend in the future. I don't want anything from your shop at this point.I got what I needed to kown and learned from Trek Bicycle Cypress. Note: Manger did call me and ofter the cost to the tire.What I got out of our chat was his supporting his mechanic and that a dollar $$$ today was more important than a customer for life. Amazing staff! When I dropped my son's bike off for repairs, their computers were down. They couldn't tell me how much it would cost. I left the bike and asked them to call me with the cost before starting any work. Turned out the cost of repair was almost as much as what I paid for the bike. I was unable to afford it. I asked them not to do any work and told them I would pick the bike up. Well, life happened and I did not get around to it. A month later I get a call letting me know that the bike was ready and what the repair cost was. I kindly informed the gentleman that I couldn't afford the repairs and had asked that no repairs be done. I also let him know that I neglected to pick it up when I said I would. The representative put me on hold to speak with his manager. He returned to the phone, took responsibility for the miscommunication and offered a deeply discounted repair cost. He has no idea how impactful this gesture was. My son has special needs. Riding his bike is one of the few things that fills him with joy. I lost my job due to COVID so a large bike repair cost was simply not in the budget. This entire team was amazing from the moment I walked in. Even the calls I made prior to arriving were super friendly. I think that speaks to how much these guys enjoy their work. Bless this entire shop! read more

Ordered a bicycle from them and was assured that it was in stock at warehouse. Paid upfront and waited an additional week to receive. That never happened. No call, no bike. I was refunded my payment in full a week later. Apparently their computer system needs updating to avoid this situation in the future. I would not go back or recommend this shop. read more

When I came to Bike Barn, I was simply hoping to get my hand brake fixed before leaving next week for college, but I got so much more! Right when I got there, Roy helped me get my bike out of my car and Rick immediately started working on it. Within 15 minutes, Rick was rolling my bike back to me, and to my surprise, my rusty hand-me-down bike looked sparkling and gorgeous. He was even explaining what he was doing and what I may need to replace in the future. All the employees were super helpful and Rick really made an impression. Summary- Nice bike shop with OK selection and really good staff. They carry all the needed safety equipment, shoes, etc. They also have a solid selection of starter and just above starter level bikes, and a few more expensive bikes of each type. I just wanted to drop you all a note to say that my wife and I came in on Saturday, and had an awesome experience. I believe the sales person was Justin (he's moving to the university store, which will be gaining a great asset!). His expertise and professionalism provided a fantastic experience. I could not have asked for better service. We arrived having already been to the Champions store (but they didn't have bikes in our sizes, and sent us to your store-- great, prompt service there too!), in search of bikes that would fit both my wife and me. We were provided service instantly, questions were asked and answered and bikes and gear were purchased. We were fitted to our selected bikes and provided expertise and input on all the items we purchased. It was long day, but it was an absolute pleasure. (Of course, everyone in the store was extremely friendly and helpful). They even stayed a little bit after closing for us to make sure everything was correctly installed on our bikes. This experience could have been high stress and aggravating. It wasn't. We did not feel pressured to purchase anything at all, but rather, we were provided sound logic and reasoning as to why items were recommended. It was refreshing. My wife and I are now discussing joining the Bike Barn team for the Tour de Cure, as everyone was so great! read more

Good service, decent prices, nice place, good location, win win.. Being a self-thinking pro biker (but more like average joe), this place was a great sight to see come up here in my Cypress town. Unlike the lackluster venue that is Lonestar Cycles across the way, check out my yelp over there to see why :/ As my usual review goes, here it is: Location: Located in the Cypress Plaza of Spring Cypress and 290 (inbound side). Plenty of parking space, and it will be located near the end of this plaza, sort of around where the Urgent Care Clinic is, on the way to Best Buy. Keep note though, the parking spaces closest to the store itself are way to small, and need to be repainted. So if you go there, and find the big lifted truck taking up two spaces, you can't get pissed and put gum on his paint this time, not his fault. Place itself Open, big, good "vibe" in there. Nice staff there to greet you upon entry (at least every time i've been there). Staff and products Everytime I've went, I had someone to answer any question I had, and appeared to have some knowledge behind it. They have tons of top brand bikes from all price ranges for anyone's budget. I mostly go here for service on my bikes because they offer one of the comprehensive servicing for bikes at a decent price. Summary As stated, good location, decent people, decent product. My husband surprised me with a bike from this store for Mother's Day. He pre-ordered the bike and we arrived on a Friday to pick it up. When we pulled up to the store, we saw a line of people outside and realized that there would be a wait due to the COVID-19 pandemic social distancing guidelines. I thought we were at the store to have his bike serviced so I decided to wait in the car. After about a 20 minute wait, he went inside and then called me to come inside. The first thing I noticed is that there quite a few employees in the shop which meant they were only letting in maybe 2-4 customers at a time to stay under the 10 limit. I immediately had a lot of respect for them for doing that. Thank you for doing your best to keep us healthy! Next, the employee that my husband had been working with was great. I didn't catch his name, but he's very tall. He showed me my bike and helped adjust it to fit for me. He then helped me try on different helmets to find one that fit. After that, we were on our way, since my husband had prepaid for everything. I was expecting them to be completely out of bikes due to the increase in people who have purchased bikes lately. Although their supply was scarce, they did have several bikes and I saw 1-2 people go in and purchase bikes and walk out with them on the same day. I'm sure I'll be back at some point to have my bike serviced and I'm so thankful to Bike Barn for providing my new "big girl" bike! read more

I haven't owned a bike in 10 years or so. I have an ebike and when it was time to get a tune up this slightly older gentleman with glasses (wish I caught his name) asked me what type of tune up I needed. I let him know that I really wasn't sure and that all I knew was the manual says it needs a tune when reached 100mi. He immediately suggested he's gonna take a look and let me know what he recommends, he even let me come in the back to show him a damage I had in the front tire after I had crashed a few days prior. I took a bike in for maintenance a week ago. The maintenance estimate as not cheap (+/- $140), but decided to proceed as long as the work was of high quality and completed in a timely manner. The bike was not ready when promised and is still not ready. They had a lot of excuses, but no other offers except I keep waiting and 'hopefully' it 'may' be ready today. Does not seem to be very professionally run and sure not worth the above markets costs. read more
