During that same visit, Francisco evaluated a leaking shower valve in my guest bathroom. He explained that because of the age of the valve, there was a possibility the wall might need to be opened and the entire valve assembly replaced. However, he first wanted to try replacing the shower cartridges. On visit #2, the bathroom sink faucets were replaced, and Francisco successfully replaced both shower cartridges entirely from the shower side of the wall -- saving me thousands of dollars by avoiding the need to open the wall and replace the entire valve assembly. Visit #3 involved replacing a cartridge in an existing ROHL shower valve. Again, there was concern that if the old cartridge could not be properly removed, it might require opening the wall and removing tile to replace the valve. Mariano and Francisco were able to complete the repair successfully, replace the old cartridge, and now the shower works perfectly. I'm a retired construction superintendent/OSHPD inspector, so I understand construction means and methods and have a very critical eye for workmanship and attention to detail. The team at Lemus was able to add the valve and match the appearance of the other plumbers, so I didn't have a Frankenstein monster of a plumbing fixture in my garage. They were very respectful of the property. I couldn't tell they were in my garage at first glance, until I saw the new valve. Jon, the owner, met us at our home, examined the two issues, inspected prior unsuccessful work, suggested solutions, and offered ways to minimize costs and any inconvenience to us during the project.  His proposal was emailed in a timely fashion and clearly laid out the work to be done, the costs involved, and fully explained the City code requirements.  We found his price to be competitive.  He answered our follow-up questions and concerns thoroughly. Once OroPro received our signed proposal, they immediately sprung into action to get us on their work schedule at our convenience, and obtained the necessary permits to do the job.  When the City threw a monkey wrench into the project - requiring the additional expense of hiring a surveyor and delaying the project for several weeks - OroPro worked with the City to find a work-around that satisfied the City inspectors and would not delay the project, which resulted in a significant cost savings. OroPro began and completed the job on schedule. They were a pleasure to work with. Their work crew, led by Blad, was excellent, courteous and professional. They cleaned up the work site and made it safe and secure at the end of every day.  Their office team, led by Shannon, was also excellent, always available to answer questions, get information, and reach the crew. They reached out to us as necessary.  Each day we received a text informing us that Blad and his team were on their way.  The crew showed us regularly the plumbing problems we had and the repair work they did to correct it.  Jon should take pride in the field crews and office team that he has assembled. At the end of the project OroPro sent us a detailed invoice describing the work that was completed each day.  The cost of the project came in on budget.  Without hesitation, we were happy with our decision to work with Oropro, and we plan to hire them again for any future plumbing needs.
