Well, he and his crew did the initial tree trim of 6 trees and cut one tree, and said he'd be back to do the stumps on 2/20/26. His crew broke a few decor pieces in our yard, left a mess, and nearly stole some of our tools they borrowed. He rescheduled coming out to finish the job 3 more times. Finally, he and one other male came back out on 3/4/26 after telling us 3 days prior that he needed to reschedule again, but we refused that excuse. When I greeted him at my door, he told me the stumps weren't in the contract, that he was only doing it to be a kind person. I brought out the contract and showed him that he was incorrect, because he did in fact write the stumps into the contract. Anyway, he ground one stump and filled in the hole with the chips as stated in the contract. Only to rip the other 2 stumps out and lay them on their side and leave.

I got ahold of Monster Tree and talked to a guy and he was very nice about everything I wanted. He came out and gave me a price list for each tree that I wanted work done on, he said I could do as much or a little as I wanted. The price was rated for each tree. I called them and set up a day to do the work and they were here first thing in the morning ready to go. Of course it was a drizzly rainy cold morning but they were there to work. They started working everybody knew what to do and where they should be, it was neat to watch them work. The rain stopped and they started working on the last tree, the one over the house. They were great and cleaned up all the limbs and twigs that fell. Yes I will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone else. Great guys that know how to work, very polite, and clean.

This is a second time I have used this service. The first time Clet and his crew trimmed a super…read morelarge maple tree in my front yard. His recommendation to remove the whole tree because of the proximity to the house and its age was traumatic for me. He realized this and said he could try to save it but couldn't guarantee it wouldn't continue to deteriorate. He removed a lot of weight from the tree and still maintained its beautiful shape. 4 years later the tree has recovered all its glory and is beautiful. On Monday, a mulberry tree started to deteriorate. One healthy fully berried limb just split at the base and fell to the ground but still attached to trunk 10 feet up. In addition the main trunk had two large trunks in a "V" shape. which had a crack that you could see through to the other side. Clet made it to our house before dark the same day I called. He took a look and said this was an emergency. One half was already touching the roof and antenna and would fully impact the front of my two story farmhouse. The other half was going to impact a cottonwood and be directed right into the side of the house. His crew arrived and took down the mulberry in less than 2 hours. The next morning a massive thunderstorm came through that would have taken the tree down for sure. It was a reasonable cost and above average service, professionalism, and knowledge. I would give 6 stars if allowed.
