From start to finish, they made the process incredibly easy and seamless. It started with the estimate. The estimator who came out was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and provided us with a very fair quote. When I finalized the quote, they easily accommodated my adjustments and scheduled the job. Just a week later, Team 2 arrived to tackle our land - 1/3 of an acre full of dense trees on a steep hillside--an incredibly large and very difficult job--and they did an absolutely fantastic job. The entire crew was professional, pleasant, hardworking, and very thorough. They took care of everything we had discussed, and when the work was finished, they went above and beyond with the cleanup, removing all the debris and leaves and even blowing off our driveway. By the time they left, everything looked fantastic. My husband and I were thrilled with how great it looked. We have used several different tree service companies over the years, and All Around Arbor Tree Service was by far the best experience we have had. The level of service, professionalism, quality of work, and attention to detail truly stood out. A huge thank you to Team 2 and All Around Arbor Tree Service for such an outstanding job. We will absolutely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and exceptional tree service company! This is by far the best company out there!

The crew was four guys and they were all friendly and quick, happily answered my questions and left my backyard looking sooooo clean their clean up job after all the work was truly impressive. A couple days later someone else came by to do the stump grinding and he was also great but I unfortunately don't remember his name! Only small complaint is that communication with the office/scheduling etc had some minor hiccups across the process of getting someone out for a quote, work being done etc but everyone was very nice throughout so it was just a small annoyance not a big issue.

After talking directly via phone to the city tree inspector that was here I was told that the…read moreprimary reason for the denial of the permit was expiration due to lack of timely feedback from Evergreen regarding questions that were asked of them. I do not know the questions they were waiting on but I was told that if I want the sidewalk fixed I need to tear out the sidewalk first and THEN ask for a root inspection to see if the offending roots can be cut out and if not then a tree removal permit can be filed again. On a separate note: I would advise anyone thinking of planting a street tree in Portland to reconsider due to the long term expense of dealing with the inevitable sidewalk damage and upkeep. That $75 per tree at the time from Friends of Trees has cost me thousands so far and will cost thousands more in concrete repair and is never ending. Once you plant one you can't remove it without replacing it and starting the cycle again.

In deciding to go with them, Gordon and his crew were outstanding and amazing in their removal of the trees without any fence or deck damage. And, all in one day! Their clean up of all the debris was impeccable, including replacing heavy yard items I had not been able to move out of their way initially. My neighbors even complimented their courtesy, professionalism, and care as they had to clean up a bit of lighter debris that had fallen into their yard. Oh, and they were significantly less in their estimate and final cost than any other company I received estimates from. We had a total 3 quotes, all from reputable companies. Interestingly, all the quotes were in the same ballpark. We chose to go with Jamal and his crew because Jamal said he would be onsite for the actual work and he would ensure that what we discussed was done. This was important because if you have an estimator that isn't onsite for the actual work, sometimes, what is promised and what is completed may not be the same. Jamal gave us a detailed quote and when he and his crew showed up for the work, Jamal definitely remembered all the details that we talked about. We also had the chance to interact and talk to the crew. Everyone was incredibly pleasant and friendly. They were all easygoing with us and with each other. It was really nice to see people working so well as a team. If you need tree trimming or related services, I would definitely give TreeTime/Jamal a call.

After checking with the neighbors to make sure they were ok with any trimming (not needed but I thought it was the polite thing to do) I did what anyone else would do and looked at Yelp reviews and chose two highly rated companies. Maybe a third quote would have been better but I am satisfied with the results. I had a representative of the first company I chose show up and he looked everything over, got information, and took that information back with him. Meanwhile I called Jamal at Treetime and he came out the next business day or so and gave me a quote instantly. After another day or two the first company emailed me their quote and it was nearly double Jamal's. Either company would probably have done fine. They both have stellar reviews. I am happy I chose Treetime. They were done in less than two hours, which is what Jamal thought it would take.

The trimming and tree removal went fine, but they neglected to trim about 6 ft of the laurel hedge. In the written estimate that all parties agreed to it stated "reduce laurel to 10ft." When I called Quality Performance to discuss finishing the laurel job they explained that the whole hedge was not part of the estimate. I explained that nowhere in the estimate did it say they would not trim back the entire hedge. They began blaming my neighbor for the miscommunication when it is Quality Performance's responsibility to clearly indicate what is to be completed in the estimate. When I read "reduce laurel to 10ft" I assumed that meant the entire hedge and not a partial job. The worst part of working with this company was their customer service. What is clearly their responsibility they turned back around on me and my neighbors and were not open to listening or making the situation right. I reached out to Samsara as a new homeowner in the area back in July. I had 3 very large (one…read moregiant) Doug Firs on my property which bordered 2 of my neighbors, and they needed to be pruned. I gathered 4 different quotes, and theirs was right in the middle. I felt really comfortable talking with Ben- a senior arborist and climber-about the job. This was probably the main reason I went with Samsara. On the day of the job 5 young gentlemen reported for duty. They spent from 0900 to about 1600 to prune the trees, There were 2 climbers. After I inspected- I felt there was a little more that could be done to the largest of the 3 Firs. I asked for Ben to come out to assess the job. He said they did great on the upper limbs but saw my concern for the lowers and agreed to come back. I also had him look at a Blue Spruce on the street side of my property that I discovered had some sort of root rot (continuous water engagement) and a pretty severe lean and he agreed it could be a concern. I received a second quote for this work and it was more than reasonable. They scheduled me within 2 weeks- which was today- and I was amazed at the quick work they made of these two elements of the job. Ben was the climber/detailer for the big Fir, and two other gentlemen made quick work of the Spruce removal. Very, very minimal disruptions for my neighbors on the roadway! Also, I have to say that the estimates they provided for both jobs were very detailed and included lot photos and tree site identification- by far the most professional of all the quotes I received. I'm very happy with the work they have done and will continue to use them as the need arises whether for planned (or unplanned) tree maintenance and emergencies. 100% recommend!
