This was our first time at this location. It's smaller than the location in Puyallup yet still…read morecharming and chock full of garden and gift ideas. Lovely decorated Christmas trees for the season (I liked the candy-themed one), abundant Christmas decor and ornaments, as well as kitchen and of course plants and gardening tools. A range of prices. Located just off a main road on the Federal Way side (but also shows up as Auburn address, both are okay as far as I know). Has parking. We went for a holiday mixer. The staff was fabulous. Friendly and helpful. The space was welcoming. They had drinks and snacks on offer. I was pretty impressed that the drinks were given in real glasses! A classy affair.

I went to this nursery with my wife over the weekend not knowing a single thing about gardening. We wanted to spruce up our patio but have had a bad history with plants as they always seem to perish before they bloom. We were approached by Mr Rick outside in the garden area and were asked if we needed assistance. Not only did he take the time to explain to us what might work best for us he also gave us plenty of options when it came to budget. You can tell that Mr Rick truly loves his work and is passionate about this nursery. Now, not only is Watson's beautiful but the prices are very very reasonable. The selection is huge and they even had some more exotic plants. The entire experience made this new adventure worthwhile for my wife and I. Also, if you see Mr Hobbs, give him a nice belly rub.

One of the most joyful nurseries in the state! The first time I dropped in here I was almost…read moresaddened that I had a garden full of flowering shrubs from the world over. If I were starting from scratch it'd be 100% native plants! But I got over it, and obtained many of my favorite perennials and shrubs from Woodbrook. I'd been looking for an Indian Plum for ages and regular nurseries just never had them. Among other things from Woodbrook, I got two tall young Indian Plums, a male and female, planted them on the property edge beyond the watering point, and what lovely giant shrubs or small trees they've become, with gorgeous decorative berries that look just like dollhouse plums, dangling clusters of little white flowers, and lovely autumn leaf colors -- grand in every season. The wee plums were harvested as food by native peoples but are toxic until ripe and kinda nasty tasting even when ripe enough to eat, so they're left to encourage birds. And I've gotten smaller things galore, mostly plants that need exceedingly little attention given that they are largely specific to our environment.

Doesn't get much better than this. Chris came up to me after a few minutes to help me figure out…read morewhat'd be best for my humble apartment porch garden. She gave me care instructions for the next few years. Then Dana gave me some super helpful info on the gorgeous posters inside, and how to find some potentially free ones from the NW forest service. They've each been here for decades and their devotion to native plants is seen in their selection and handouts. My native thimbleberry was only 12 dollars-- what a great price! I learned a lot as well. Best part is the sweet little formerly-feral, currently-cuddly free roaming kitty. She enjoyed some pets while we waited out the rain on the porch. Thanks, yall
